When you look back at your fan lists and realize you were never popular anyway, and basically nearly everyone abandoned you. And hardly anyone looks at your writing anymore, and sometimes you feel worthless and want motivation that doesn't exist, and reactions that don't happen anymore, because some cool fans you had earlier are gone and are never coming back... And you're not even improving your situation just complaining about it like that's going to do anything.  ] |

*pokes* That's disheartening talk and I say 'check your views'. And that you are a wonderful writer and every time I read a new episode I think 'On my StarClan, this should be a TV Show. I'd 100% watch it.'

I've just been in a very odd mood for the past two days. (Didn't help me and a friend of mine had a long discussion about writing. With me, in your shoes, and he was the one complaining about giving up entirely.)
I'm not going to give up clearly, there has been four hundred something pages from the past two seasons, and five years(?) of my life that's been put into this.
Perhaps just because I've been at this a long time, and then with the move and the falling out with some of the members in THOA, I've been disheartened.
I wanted to show my mother how many pages I've actually put into it, and that's when I noticed the fan list in Season 1 and 2, having 24-25 fans. Then I checked Season 3....
And its dismal, compared to those numbers, and I guess I let that get to me, some... (That doesn't help since I'm a pessimist about things in general, and now I'm just rambling, so I'll just post this now.)

I wish I knew a whole bunch of actors/actresses or something so I could do a 'dream cast' or something that people do. But unless you want it comprised of people from the 1980s, it probably wouldn't work. xD But every time I read this, I think: 'Ooo, but that would be so cool in an episode on a show. Think about it.' And then I end up spending a couple of seconds doing just that. xD I don't think I ever mentioned I do/think that, did I? Ow. I should have. I've been doing that since Season 1. Never give up. To much work, and heart, has gone into this to give up. It's amazing. The fact you've been at this series for so long is impressive and inspiring. Take into account that when Season 1 and 2 were made, Spoofs were a major thing. Also, the fact that in these forums you are updating season 3 episode by episode and the new readers have to get through two other seasons. It's a little daunting, because they haven't been reading it from the almost start. You'll build it up again.  You're only a few episodes in and people, new people, haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. I don't know if I ever mentioned how I used to dislike spoofs until I read this, did I? It's a spoof/script that survived three versions of the original forums and the only one to make it to this one. That has to mean it's pretty special, don't you think? |

What, all you're saying is true. Thank you, Mint! And I didn't know you actually see this as how it would be in a tv show, or how you didn't like spoofs before. (I had an actual spoof called Epic Dares before working on this. Sadly they're all gone. Although you can find a person that stole a few episodes from season 2 on Quotev. I don't think you would've liked it...) I need to keep in mind that people have to read the first seasons first, instead of me bumbling around wondering why no one's reading this one... (It would be very interesting to see a dream cast of who would play which voice.) |

No problem. You can find some of Epic Dares on the Wayback Machine as well, I believe. And you never know. If it had good jokes, I might have.  I'll see what I can rustle up for dream cast. Not promises that it will be soon, since I've got to pick the perfect voices. xD And actually, I can't remember anymore. I remember clicking it, but I don't remember why. Actually, here's what I do remember. I remember checking out season 2 first, I skimmed/read the pilot and I remember thinking 'Uh oh, I'm going to like this and I just know that dead cat is going to be my favorite.' Turns out, Nightshade was. I totally forgot he died while reading season 1 and only remembered I'd read spoilers as I read the last few episodes. Anyway, I think back then I was finally will to at least give spoofs two looks before rejecting them and Season 2's banner was always amazingly compelling. I made me wonder what it was about. Speaking of which, maybe adding banners back in would make the front page more compelling. |

Fan clan? I know a couple of good ones. Ones that don't require me to be active? (My activity is going to be really sporadic after this week till sometime in July. As I'm going to visit family up north, and no one tells me anything about what we're doing. We've went and saw movies at 10 at night, for example. I cannot guarantee anything. You have also seen how my activity can decrease when college starts as well.) So, no activity rule would be great. Also a rule that require literacy and blocky paragraphs of typing. I suck at normal writing and description, it's why I write in a script format. I'd rather not be reminded of how terrible my normal writing skills are, so yeah... |

Unless they have my pet-peeve in the rules. -.- You know, I never used to have any forum pet-peeves, but after reading a topic in OTD I seem to hate the rule that requires 'correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation'. I would try my best, but how many people in the world actually knows how to correctly use a semi-colon? My grammar and spelling is flawed too. -_- |
