Sooooo as someone who hasn't been on the forums in about a year/year and a half I had no idea they were shutting down and lost pretty much everything (I had it all saved, but I now have a new laptop with almost nothing on it). My last name on the old forums was either oreos or Rosecrest, I can't remember which but I was both of them at some point.
Anywaaaay I really want to re-make it but I need some help.
Basically it was about three kingdoms: Dunwulfe, Eredia, and Alaythia. There was a royal family in each of course, some nobles, peasants, rouges, servants, etc.. Dunwulfe was located in the mountains in the far north, the king wasn't the friendliest ruler around and he wasn't very fond of the Alaythian rulers. Eredian teritory was the vast fields and wooded areas starting at the bast of the mountains, their main occupation being farming and trading wood and crops with the other kingdoms. Alaythia was located along the coast, having only a small bit of woodland in their kingdom they focused on fishing and even glass making.
The main plot line was Dunwulfe and Alaythia would (eventually) go to war for whatever reason leaving Eredia in the middle, making their people either split and pick sides or try and be the middleman.
There were a bunch of mini plots too that all tied into the war thing somehow, one of the main ones being a Dunwulfe prince coming in disguise to spy on Alaythia. The members could make up their own plots to rp with others, so long as it was approved first.
Now, this is the main thing that I am struggling on.
It wasn't your average kingdom rp, and there was magic but it wasn't like having a sorcerer or two. There were people called Blood Bonders: those with the ability to have a connection with mythical creatures basically. Each ceature had some sort of ability regarding one of the four elements (air, water, earth, fire) and for each element there was a bunch of different creatures. They each had an abiity revolving their element, I remember one of mine having some type of griffin and it could control/alter wind currents and teperature or something like that. It wasn't anything overpowering, just a generic elemental ability.
There are two types of Blood Bonders: partial and pure.
Partial bonders can only make a bond with a creature, while pure bonders could eventually learn basic elemental magic with the help of their creature (it would be the same element as the animal, so in my case wind/air). The stronger the bond the stronger the magic, but it would still be nothing too overpowering so the rp remains fair.
All blood bonders are feared by most so it's best they keep it a secret, although people are more lenient with partial bonders since they can't do magic. Pure Bonders are hated by nearly everyone so they often have a target on their back, and they're also much more rare than a partial bonder.
I think I set a limit of 3 per kingdom for the pures so they didn't take up the whole rp, for partials lets say 12 per kingdom? It really depends how many people want to join/how big the rp gets we could eventually add one or two mre here and there. We can figure out all that later though.
Anyone good with coming up mythical creatures and small, basic descriptions for them (general colors, attributes) would be greatly appreciated because I remember this part stumping me the last time.
There can also be creatures that aren't magical in any way - like some for household pets or to help out on say a farm in Eredia.
And then just generic cats, dogs, and horses running around, not every animal has to be magical.
Anyone that helps is free to go ahead and claim characters too~
I only ask that there be a limit to 2 nobles, 1 royal, OR one of each and only have 1 Pure blood bonder OR 2 partials. Also please don't make every royal/noble a bonder, that wouldn't make things very interesting. If you want one of them to be a bonder just ask first, but try and have a little variety.
Next post will be things I have saved/things we need~
