There could be more difficult kits, and something about the small she-kit was endearing as he watched from across the den. "Do you think she would do well in a clan environment?" As Ashkit came bounding up to the two of them, Redfleck chuckled, "She looks excited. Aren't you, Ashkit?" He licked his paw and brought it behind his ears, about to turn around and leave his client and the kit together. It's fine!) Slashpelt watched the kit go, thinking quietly to herself. He was no more difficult than she had expected, but at the same time no less difficult. She waited until he'd left the den, then padded over to the entrance, sitting at the edge of the opening and watching the rest of the cats in the cave, occasionally glancing back at him as he ate his mouse. Rainkit slowly nibbled through his mouse. The fresh air and consistent breeze ruffled his fur. It was refreshingโuntil he felt another pair of eyes burning into him. Rainkit paused his meal and shifted his eyes sideways. Why in the name of Starclan is she watching me eat? Rainkit snorted and finished the rest of his mouse. Just so you know) Silvercloud threw her head back and laughed "An underground water well is when there's some sort of water vein or stream underground that we can't see. We can find it by something that a kitty pet mentioned to me awhile back. She called it 'dowsing'. We'd have to find a piece of forked wood that'll supposedly tell us where there's any kind of underground water," she said excitedly. Silvercloud tilted her head to the side as she thought "but I've never actually tried it myself...it should be super cool though!" ( Got it! I'll excuse your absence. ) Sunkit nodded rapidly. "Yeah! Wanna do it together? I wanna try." He leaped around Silvercloud in circles, then ran off into the distance for a moment before diving back into their little clearing once again with a mouthful of twigs. Sunkit spat them out at Silvercloud's paws: "Let's take a look?" he asked, almost for permission, looking up with anticipation gleaming in his eyes. |

She turned to face the newcomer again. "So - where did you come from?" She inquired, eager to know more about the stranger. "I hope there's a place I can swim!"

I think that your name is quite nice as well." The tom replies. He sits down to watch the kit's interaction with the worker. It seems that she got along well with others, which he took as a good sign. Wrapping his tail around his front feet, he decided how to answer her questions. "I'm part of a clan with a river running through it, so yes there is a bit of swimming to do." |

Ashkit felt a rush of satisfaction when she heard him promise that there was bodies of water. "And any job related with herbs?" She persisted, jumping up and down on her feet. She could survive if there was none since she could swim, but she would feel a stab of disappointment if he said there wasn't any. A risk I have to take, if I leave...

Silvercloud blinked at the sudden burst of energy and watched as Sunkit ran off only to return several seconds later. Chuckling, Silvercloud pawed at the pile of twigs and began looking for a forked stick. "Yeah, sure!" she purred, "See if you can find any forked twigs that you can hold easily in your mouth," she instructed as she examined a twig that seemed forked but a bit bent on one side. |

Briarfur's whiskers twitched as he thought over his words. "When kits reach a certain age, they become apprentices. They're given an older warrior as a mentor, and their mentor teaches them how to become a warrior and live by the code. A medicine cat's apprentice is similar, but you learn how to become a medicine cat." |

"We also have our leader, our deputy, the queens with kits who haven't been apprenticed yet, and our elders. Everybody has a role, and it's up to each cat to decide what their role is." |

( Gah, I'm so sorry for being this inactive. I forgot about this place.... Replies will be up soon to my clients! Please forgive me. By the way, I've lost my motivation for continuing this thread, so if anybody else would like to take the unadopted kits into their own kit caves, I'd be glad to donate them. Otherwise, after the rpers here have successfully adopted their kits, I'll be closing this cave. )

Slashpelt noticed he'd finished eating and shifted so she was facing him. "Do you hate me?" She usually didn't ask questions this straightforward, but if the kit disliked her a lot, she'd leave, maybe. Rainkit, absorbed in his food, didn't notice the she-cat steadily approaching him. At her voice, he jumpedโand regretted it immediately. He wasn't weak like that. However, Rainkit couldn't stop his fur from raising, just a bit, at the other's presence. A few moments passed. Did Rainkit really want to talk to her? Well, she asked a question, so he should answer. But he had no obligation to, and frankly, she was quite annoying. He figured that storming off would probably give her the answer she needed. No, scrap that; she might start chasing after him. Great Starclan, what should I do? Merely her presence makes me want to die!"You annoy me," he stated quietly, his tail curling up around his side. Indeed, it was shaped similar to a Y, with one leg just a bit shorter than the other. A dead leaf clung to the longer end. "Like this one?" His inquiry was mumbled around the wood.
