"Woa, I never said you were." Rowlin blinked a bit confused by the comment. At the same time, it could of been a decloration, he wasn't going to further question the matter. His gaze locked onto her, as she moved in a perfect symmetrical matter. The swaying of her dress was just as symmetrical as her own motion. "I-I don't intend to go looking for fights." He aimed to assure her. "I dislike conflicts, and I try to walk away when possible." Also, am I getting lectured? For a brief moment he felt like a child getting scolded. He couldn't help but wonder about the fabric along the ruffles of her orange dress. He had no clue about fabrics but he once volunteered with a charity that made costumes for a community performance. The poffyness in the dress, made him think of the metal rods they inserted along the edge of some of the dresses to make the dresses intentionally poof out. "-Noted.." he snapped out of his thoughts to respond. "I'll refer to them as emotions." He blinked at her next comment. "A vampire?" He took another look at the flower. Somewhat related to my earlier question, can I assume with the information I do have, that demon boy refers to Vampires? Probably.. He internally considered. To clear the feeling, he placed the rose in front of him and blew lightly on it. The pedals blew off, turning into little white butterflies, fluttering in Ononoki's direction. "I apologize for my earlier actions, as mentioned prior it was one way to answer your question." He sincerely apologized. "But, if I may ask for one request, though you most likely already answered; I ask you keep our discussion in the shadows. I don't mind if you go around telling others about the vampire part if asked, but the issue with Shadow People has to do with how it is interpreted by other cultures. Last thing I want is to cause someone's panic level to explode because of their superstitious beliefs." His voice carried concern, he was afraid for others. "I'm a history major, ironic I know. But, I have studied the Shadow People, and how it is interpreted among many cultures, and its definition changing over time. The last thing I want is for my friends and loved ones to suffer because of persecution." He took in a slow steady breath, his voice had lowered. The further up the hall they went, the lighter the halls became. »ƑαƖcση ((Feel free to jump in.))

"Creepface?" Greed echoed, touching his chin. Yup, the beard definitely ruined his chances with women. He shrugged before opening a random drawers to find any useful tools. Instead of finding a sharp razor, the homunculus pulled out a smooth, black object with a silver button in the center. Holding the electric razor up to Touka and Neb, Greed gave them a quizzical look before asking, "The hell is this?"

Ononoki had no remorse. That is, she didn't edit her comment even after Rowlin insisted he hadn't gone looking for trouble. There was no way to tell with her blank expression whether or not she believed him, one would have to ask her directly. Her head raised again and the shadows dissipated from her face, causing her eyes to not glow so ominously. They fixated on the petals that had become butterflies, and she gracefully raised one hand to allow the fabricated creatures to land on her. An apology in the form of a new illusion, was it? "Yes, a vampire. But I don't know why he would appear, I only recently met him. Like you." She had stopped when distracted by the butterflies, but now looked ahead again. "Oh. It's getting lighter," she noticed. As her feet slipped back into motion, she kept her head raised, one butterfly lingering on her nose. "I won't tell anyone, Big Brother Row. Everything you have said today, I won't tell anyone... I said with a posed look." There was no posed look in sight. It seemed as though the doll was once again perfectly willing to walk in a straight line down the halls for eternity. It could have been that she was simply enjoying the company, but it was difficult to tell if she enjoyed anyone's company. It was more likely that she just couldn't be bothered to think of reasons to stop walking.

( Auransky Razzle Dazzle awesome thanks!) A large black dog appeared just down the hallway, intently staring at... the wall. For a split second there was no reaction, green eyes adjusting to the sudden change in light. Then he pulled back with an air of quiet frustration, disappointed at the loss of his quarry. Changing his attention to the more immediate situation, Ghost's ears swiveled towards the sound of footsteps nearby, followed quickly by the rest of his head. It was two unknown hum- no, the readings were not consistent with a true human. More odd entities of the House that, surprise surprise, didn't match data gathered on any other creature he had encountered here. Curious now, Ghost opened two new files in his internal codex and waited for the strange pair to get close enough to initiate conversation.

Ougi grasped Arlo's hand tightly as soon as the girl decided to comply, and she shook her hand vigorously with a smile. Her enthusiasm seemed to be fueled by Arlo's hesitance, rather than in spite of it. Besides that, this girl just seemed to be quite strange--in a good way, to Ougi of course. "Ah, that isn't very long, now is it?" she prompted, ominously cheerful as always. She nodded several times at Arlo as if just to encourage her to go on about herself. "I've been appearing here for quite a long time now, but this place still holds its secrets. It tries to, anyway." The way she spoke of the Paradox House was like an adult trying to embed a fear into a child. It made it seem more and more like the place was an entity to be reckoned with. "You must have entered a room or two though. I'm sure you're very capable. Do you have... any abilities?"

»ƑαƖcση Razzle DazzleRowlin continued to follow after Ononoki, personally he was feeling like a child being scolded for everything he was saying. Yet, he understood why he was feeling that way, and Ononoki further confirmed his feelings on the matter. Watching the girl invite some of the butterflies into her hand, he couldn't help but softly smile. Without the need for words, one thing was clear, that the possibility that the two would get along was very high. She did bring his attention at the mention of the second apparition who had appeared. "A vampire you recently met.." He softly repeated, crossing his arms to ponder. "Well, I guess... if you recently met them, they are still recently in your thoughts for whatever the reason. Either that or it was a subconscious action." He considered. "It could also be partly my fault, I asked for an explanation of Devil Boy, and it could have most likely been an unconscious thought." He waved a hand rather quickly. "I honestly still have much to explore myself in how the Shadow's perceive someone's unconscious. So when I figure it out, i'll let ya know." As they continued walking, through what seemed endless, his attention perked to something up ahead. "Ononoki, you see what I see?" He asked, referring to Ghost the large dog up ahead.

Ghost narrowed his eyes, an expression he had adopted from Dr. Marshall. He managed to catch most of what the male had said, but unfortunately not only did it seem like the end of the discussion, it was completely and utterly out of context. The german shepherd couldn't help but call up his files on vampires though, in case the stranger dropped a keyword that would identify someone from the House. However, the possibility of gleaning more information rapidly died as soon as Ghost realized he had been spotted. Oh well.

While Rowlin was thinking about a prospective friendship, Ononoki seemed to be thinking at nothing at all, at least on the surface. At least the fact that she had not left his side meant she believed they would get along as well. Even though she was known to unwillingly accompany other people, they would have to be someone with a level of authority over her--like Gaen. She didn't really have a reason to be around Rowlin against her will. "...An unconscious thought..." she echoed. She seemed to dismiss it at the time. After all, it was true that she had been talking to Araragi recently, and she did call him Devil Boy. Everything checked out. Ononoki approached Ghost without hesitance, as if she had known he would be up ahead without having seen the dog before. Her head turned forward again, the illusion of a butterfly perched on her nose disappearing now, but there was no stuttering in her movements to suggest she was surprised or even acknowledging Ghost as a new member of their space rather than someone who had been there the whole time. "Hello," she greeted in monotone, "I said with a posed look." She had no such posed look, simply slowing to a stop and standing upright in front of Ghost as she looked down at him.

»ƑαƖcση & Razz "Yea..." Rowlin softly trailed after her. He wasn't as certain either with the second vision, at least even less certain now then he was prior. Either way, his attention gravitated towards Ghost, he had stopped focusing on the butterflies making them disappear. He sniffed the air, just to see if he was missing a detail-no... he wasn't. It's not one of them, but it's also altered ... He tried to peace things together through observation. It was when Ononoki walked right up to it, that he blinked several times. Seeing Ononoki's calm composure, even approaching the abnormally large dog was very impressive. It was evident that aside from lacking exterior emotions, she just dove into things. Whether it was reckless or admirable, he couldn't decide. Nonetheless, he stopped a bit keeping a brief distance between Ghost, as he observed Ononoki confront the dog head on. If this were football, Ononoki would be in the end zone. He couldn't help but distantly compare.

Razzle Dazzle Auransky"Greetings." Ghost replied, noting the girl's apparent lack of concern about strange creatures. Her demeanor suggested an AI, but her body was biological -- at least as far as he was able to discern. Would she have reacted the same if he had been an actual dog, or was she seeing through to the robot under the synthetic skin? Too many question marks were being entered into her file. Ghost leaned slightly to the left to see the teenager as well. His reaction was much more common; hesitant, wary. "Is this your first visit to the Paradox House?" The question was addressed to both. Ghost's eyes returned to examine the girl in greater detail. "We haven't met before." Unless something had happened inside a room that wiped his memory, an event that was entirely possible.

"Vyra?" asked Kid, curious. He vaguely remembered there had been another girl who had blinked in for Arlo's word. He blinked, thinking about the other time he'd entered a room they couldn't blink out of. "Ah," he said. "I know a bit about those. Sometimes there are just rooms that are slightly strange that way. Or ... I don't think your older self considered them rooms at all." He frowned, thinking back. "So one them are just ... they almost tell you more about the Paradox House in that one place more than any of the countless other rooms together. The rooms you and I are used to almost tell you more about yourself while the ones where we can't blink out tell something about the House." His frown had deepened. "But the books were connected to the living room?" He remembered the neighborhood and the photos which had been them ... but weren't. They were just a bit off. The other him, who wore all black, standing for a picture beside people he almost knew. "The other 'room' like that I've been in. It was connected in some way back to the House. But ..." But the Danny from there, hardly living, had made it sound like the Mansion had been another House. But then again, it could just have been a House created person. He shook the thought away. "It's a mystery. Want to explore this room?" "Yes! Do you know her?" Arlo wasn't sure why she was so surprised, it was no stranger than finding out that an alternate or future version of herself had been in the House, or that she had been the first blinker, but she still hadn't expected it. She tilted her head slightly as she listened. If she hadn't been holding the paper plane she probably would have pulled out her notebook, but she didn't have enough hands. Her older self hadn't thought of them as rooms? That... felt right. She had thought it had seemed different. "Yeah... it's weird, but it's kinda neat how they work sometimes too."
"Some of the books in the library were identical to the ones in the living room, and if you wrote on them it would transfer to the one that matched," Arlo explained, pausing for a moment as she tried to remember exactly what had happened, "To get out we had to make the door out of the right ones on both sides, with help from our clones in the living room and the other blinkers. It was... strange." Not that the 'normal' rooms weren't strange of course. "Yeah, sure!" She replied immediately. Sure she'd seen two forest rooms already, but that didn't mean that she didn't want to see what was in this one. The girl glanced around the "room", then down to the paper plane and back to Kaito. "Hey uh... could I keep this?"

Ononoki seemed to be ambivalent to Ghost’s scanning, standing patiently as if to allow him to examine her however he wished. Seeing as how she was simply a corpse, there probably wasn’t much to discover. She waited as Rowlin caught up to them, noticing that he was much more skeptical. Her expression seemed to lurch into motion somewhat when Ghost questioned them. At least, it was more like a blinking of the eyes and a lifting of the head to show that she was awake rather than expression. “No. How long have you been here? I said with a posed look.” She merely stopped in front of the dog and kept her yellow galoshes beside each other, arms resting on her dress.

(No chore can stop me now.) Adrenaline was on their side now coursing through their supple limbs. For what was known about the peculiar creature it gave chase despite a lack of subtlety. Had they been less agile it was over for them, that thing would have caught them both - to leave the other blinker behind was out of the question. Even if they were outright strangers they were stuck in the same hellhole until the grand escape. It's not like he wanted to hang around him if given the choice, but they had no choice in the matter. On the other hand, what he would say to the others if he came out in one piece would be an entertaining tale to say the least. Running together was no sweat save for the golden opportunity of falling down on some wood or backtracking, he'd been binging on enough cliche films to know the classic trope. Unsavory as the moment had been Joey's warmth radiated from his gloved hand giving Matt's a affirmative squeeze. The teen didn't protest at the brunette's desperate plan merely giving him the look of appreciation making a sharp turn around the corner he had pointed out just then. "Whatever it takes to leave...I can run and you... can figure the puzzle out." He heaved, if the run from his earlier encounter hadn't tired him out this would be it. GO LARK) Matt paused as they rounded the corner, hands on his knees as he wheezed, trying to get his breath back. Then, he straightened up, starting to laugh between gasps of air. “You know...that’s a really dumb idea,” he said, grinning and shaking his head. “Who are you, Fred Jones? Splitting up is always how the bad guy gets one of us. Nope...we’re getting outta here together.” A brief silence followed, interrupted only by the ominous quaking and stomping of the retro gaming-inspired monster just around the corner, searching for them. ”Soooooo....any ideas? I know this is your first rodeo, but I swear, sometimes newbies have the best ideas.”

The young boy walked through the door with almost a skip in his step. Apparently not minding the fact that Sherlock was a grinning secret keeper. The room he entered wasn't at once very special. He looked around, but it just seemed to be a very large open plain of grass, like where he would take the sheep. There were a couple of dips and hills, but really the most remarkable thing about the place was that it had two containers filled with odd ... sticks? Myrnin wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to call them, but they were brightly colored. He leaned down to look at the box. Okay ... not sticks because they weren't made of wood. But maybe they were some sort of plant, because the containers had a lot of water in it. It was the first thing Myrnin could think of. Sherlock stepped in after the boy, letting the door close and vanish behind him. They were in a huge open field. The medium long grass moved gently in the breeze, and the sky seemed huge, curving from horizon to horizon like a dome. He wasn’t used to that, having lived in London for so long, so for a moment he stood still and simply stared at it, mesmerized. Then he blinked and looked away, pulling his focus back to whatever this place was. Then he noticed what Myrnin already had, only he had a name for the things. He chuckled and approached the water, then stooped to retrieve two brightly colored plastic water guns from the grass. One red, one blue. “There’s probably a catch, but for now, d’you know how to play?” He asked, and turned, tossing the red toy towards the smaller blinker. “You’d better dry me off before I go back, alright House, I’d rather not explain to the queen why I’m suddenly soaked if it’s all the same to you.” (Sorry I'm so late! O.O ) The young boy didn't quite catch the water gun that was tossed to him and instead fumbled it. He hurriedly grabbed it and proceeded to hold it upside-down. "What? They're plants right? Wont they die out of water?" He was concerned. But it didn't feel like a plant. There were too many weird parts. "Or are they swords that require watering?" He played around with it but couldn't work it out. Was red a good color for these swords? He waved it around a bit, but there didn't seem to be any sharp edges. "Queen?" asked Myrnin looking up, eyes wide and wonder-filled but also suddenly very wary. "Which queen?" He looked back at the container of water. "Are you expecting me to dump this on you? I would not if it offended your queen."

Maladict leaped. It wasn't neat, but it was higher than a human could jump and then he was running, stumbling here and there when he was sure he'd hit a wolf. Then he was running, hitting anything that brushed up against him and just kept moving. Oh, you could hear the wolves now. They were panting, glowing eyes at Kelsier and Maladict's heals. They were mad too, snarling and snapping and leaping at both blinkers when they could. Maladict swerved and then almost pulled to a stop. He'd missed when they'd left the part of cleared out forest and instead gone into the green forest again, but the terrain had changed to down hill. "Of course," Mal almost moaned, momentum still carrying him down hill with the wolves behind. The ground dropped away about a dozen yards head of Mal and Kelsier. Kelsier risked turning his head slightly as he ran, and his hazel eyes found Maladict’s pale face as the vampire streaked along next to him. Which was impressive, considering that Kelsier was currently burning pewter to increase his speed and stamina, and a regular human would have struggled even to reach this speed, let alone keep it. He tucked that away st the back of his mind to think about when he wasn’t about to be torn limb from limb. He could feel the hot breath at his heels, hear the panting and snarling as the canine’s kept pace, and he threw every ounce of concentration into moving faster and faster, until stopping would no longer be an easy thing to do. He heard the moan too late and felt himself tilt, and suddenly he wasn’t forcing his upper body forwards anymore. His mouth slipped open in a wordless groan as the hill took any chance he’d had of stopping away from him, and he hurtled forward, no longer in control of his speed or his pewter. “We’re going to have to jump!” He shouted over the wind that stole his words as soon as they left his lips. He trusted Maladict could hear him. Maladict could hear him and he didn't like it. From the position they were hurtling he couldn't tell how deep the drop off was or if there was anywhere to jump to. But it was there no other option. It was that, or run into the wolves. Pick the poison. He sped up instead of trying to slow down, focusing on keeping his feet under him. Adaptability was the one thing that was saving him ... He pelted forward, almost overtaking Kelsier, and at the last second ... leaped. The forest stretched away below his feet, the wind whipping at his eyes, pulling at his clothes and Maladict panicked without completely taking in the drop off. His body dissolved around him, the world shifted in a tilting, helter-skelter blur of colors. Black and white pulled around him and it took almost five seconds for the falling magpie to get his wings under him, wings beating the air until he could settle the world around him and look around for Kelsier. ( Up to you how deep the drop off was or if there were any tall trees to catch on!)

He was grinning like a kid on a snow day, his blue eyes bright with fun as he casually aimed at Myrnin. “You’re getting warmer.” He added with a low chuckle as the smaller blinker mentioned swords, and he curled his finger around the trigger, though he didn’t press it yet. “The queen of England, don’t worry about her, she’s nothing like anyone you’re thinking of, she doesn’t behead people unless they really get on her nerves, and nothing you could do to me would annoy her in the slightest, I don’t think she likes me much.” His tone suggested he was more amused than concerned by that fact, which threw some doubt on his casual remark on her beheadings. “Anyhow, I’d never tell you to go and do anything like that without building up to it, you’ve got to start small, as in...!” Water shot from his toy as the detective suddenly squeezed, straight towards Myrnin’s chest.

( Up to you how deep the drop off was or if there were any tall trees to catch on!) Kelsier felt the vampire leave the ground a fraction of a second before he leapt after him and spread his arms. The gray strips of cloth from his mistcloak fluttered and twisted in the air like their namesake and for a moment he looked like he might really be able to glide safely to the ground, as light as a droplet of water. Then he started to fall. He looked down first, judging the distance of the ground below him and how many obstacles there were. Maladict had jumped before him so he should be - Wait. The mistborn’s eyes widened as he saw the man twist midair, a flash of greenish blue on black feathers caught the light and he was no longer falling, but flying. Changing his plan in an instant, Kelsier plunged his hand into his pocket and threw down a small coin, then flared steel to Push to into the ground, where it sank under the weight it now held. there was enough ground trapped under it to hold him, and his fall slowed, until he hovered about three inches off the ground. He extinguished his metals and landed lightly in the soft grass, then looked up, a lopsided smile tugging the left side of his lips up one as his sharp eyes found the magpie sitting in a branch just over his head. “I think I like you better as a bird.” He called up. “Feathers suit you.”

"As in time spent inside the house?" Ghost clarified. Technically he had only been "here" for a few minutes, but the context was pretty clear the girl meant something else. "Approximately six months total. I'm... I'm not entirely certain, as time does not pass here I am unable to actually keep track." His internal chronometer was effectively useless in the house, among a host of other functions that would be entirely useful to have access to. "We must have simply not crossed paths before now."
She was still generating odd readings. The closest matching data the bot had was from undead blinkers, even then the comparison wasn't perfect. He tilted his head slightly to the side, a in vaguely quisitive expression. "Tell me, why is your look posed?"

"A bit," admitted Kid. "She's been here now and again." He didn't exactly care if Arlo knew or not or if it caused a problem in the timelines. As far as Kid knew, this young Arlo was a completely different version from the one he knew. "I see," said Kid. He'd wondered about the books. He remembered Deemo writing on them to talk to others and using the books for his magic sometimes. He'd wondered why they were blank. This didn't explain anything, but it did give some different information. "Clones?" he muttered, slightly disturbed as he once again remembered the apparently alternate reality version pictures from the time they'd been kids. "I imagine it was strange." He was slightly surprised at Arlo's request to keep the paper plane, but he nodded. "Sure." He then waved a hand at the surrounding forest. "Guess it's time to explore." He started walking in a random direction. (Do you want to add anything?)

Ougi blinked into the living room mid-skip, skidding to a halt until she landed with her feet planted solidly near the couch. Back so soon? She hardly scanned the room as other blinkers might, instead merely smirking knowingly and raising one hand to her chin. She lifted her head as if she could sense what she was interested in--the door--before she even turned to face it. When she did, she realized she was missing something else: a victim. Well then, who might accompany her? The student swiveled her head and stepped one foot to the side of her, giving the living room a disappointed look. Her bangs cast her face in shadow and almost made the disappointment read more as frustration, even anger.

Lovelace blinked in moments after Ougi had finished her scan, sitting on the floor with a blank, distant look in her eye and a wrench clutched loosely in her hand. ”Hey, Lambert - not now, Hui, Well done, Fisher, I... Selberg, what are you... Suddenly, she came to with a violent gasp, almost a wheeze as she was jerked out of her memories and from 1 to 100 in an instant. Her fingers tightened around the wrench as she forced in deep, heavy breaths, trying to register where she was - it was no longer on the shuttle, why...had she arrived somewhere without noticing?? No...no, this was okay. This was becoming normal. This was...what had they called it...that other place she’d been visiting lately. ”The Paradox House...” she breathed, remembering the name as she thought it through. “Back again, huh...”

Ougi rolled forward from her heels as someone else blinked into the living room. It was the perfect opportunity to take whoever it was into a room. Except, it was someone she had not yet met. The student eyed Lovelace with interest, keeping her smug look to a minimum to avoid scaring her off. At least they weren't new, it seemed, so she wouldn't have to give them the introduction spiel as she had been doing lately. "Ah, welcome back," she greeted with a small smile. She waltzed over to the other blinker and tilted her shoulders and head to the side, bringing her hands together behind her back in an innocent, inquisitive gesture. "And who might you be?" As usual, she was questioning the newcomer without considering they might want to know her name as well.

Lovelace turned, registering for the first time another person’s presence in the room. A kid - a girl who looked like she was maybe sixteen years old, or she would look like that, except for her eyes. Her eyes were deep and dark, and seemed like they were boring straight into her skull...and despite what she’d asked, she suddenly felt that somehow, the girl already knew her name. “Lovelace,” she said, voice oddly hollow to her own ears as she said it out loud. It felt strange... She shook her head, and repeated, a little louder this time. “Yeah, you can call me Lovelace. Uh...and you are?” She almost could’ve laughed at the ridiculousness of it all - here she was, face to face with a complete stranger in an alternate dimension, and they were making small talk.

"Oshino Ougi," the freshman introduced, pulling one arm out from behind her back in an almost threatening manner, but then sticking it straight out toward Lovelace for a shake. "I take it you haven't been showing up here for long," she observed, taking Lovelace's movements as unfamiliarity and distance. It seemed that the other blinker didn't have many attachments to this place, or the people here. "If you want, you can come with me," she offered, gesturing toward the door to the hallway. She kept smiling, as though nothing could faze her and as though she wasn't really absorbing the information Lovelace was giving her. After all, it was probably true somehow that she already knew her name. Now, the student's feet were already shuffling backwards, prepared to move on to the hallway but not taking her away just yet. It was clear if the other blinker didn't want to follow, she wouldn't be let off the hook that easily.

“Feathers suit you.” The bird gave an indignant squawk and ruffled his feathers. He flapped his wings and landed on the forest floor and hopped around a bit, looking up at Kelsier. Then he turned and flapped a bit, gliding along the forest floor ahead of the mistborn. He was impressed that Kelsier had made it here without becoming a small grease stain on the carpet of grass, but they still should probably get as far away from the invisible wolves as possible. He didn't know if or how many had fallen with them or if they could have survived it. The vampire didn't want to find out. He didn't speak - because he couldn't - but he didn't change back either. There would be too many questions if he did and he would rather avoid them for as long as possibly. He could move around in magpie form for a little without getting confused and trying to go hunt bugs instead. Anyway, it did give him one advantage. He pulled himself higher, flying toward the above tree mark. He wasn't sure how they could get out, but he was tired of running from wolves. (How should they get out, do you think? Echo had an idea about following where the wind is going, but we didn't get that far.)

“No...not too long, confirmed Lovelace, taking her hand and shaking it even though the whole thing was still amusingly surreal. “This is my third time, actually.” She blinked, a little taken aback as Ougi suggested they head into a room. The others she’d met seemed to suggest that she should avoid those... “What the hell, why not,” she said with a shake of her head, turning to follow the girl. If this place was anything like Cutter’s little Box 357 nightmare., it would be best to just play along for now.
