The name rung no bells, evident in the vampire's expression as she simply grew more upset and confused. She still felt like she should know all this, but she just didn't! "I... I... What does 'blinking' mean?" Flandre asked the pinkette, voice wavering in several places. "I-I don't like this. I don't like this..."
She looked at Crutchie as the boy approached. "I... But I'm gonna keep coming back, aren't I. 'Cause... 'Cause I've appeared and disappeared several times now. I wanna be able to go home and STAY home..."

Araragi glanced back at Crutchie, giving a more thoughtful expression than a concerned one. "It's okay, you're safe," he told Flandre. "You don't know me," he said and knelt down to be on the child's level. He was totally unaware she was a vampire; he was attempting to grow out his hair now to cover it, but the bite marks on his neck from his own incident were still visible. "I'm Araragi. What's the last thing you remember?"

"...the last thing I remember? Of this place, or home? 'Cause all I remember of this place last time was this redhaired girl who said her name was Kyoko. She seemed upset at first, and kept drawing people and expecting me to know them... A-And I felt like I should know them, too." Flandre was clearly upset and frustrated by that last fact.
Hearing Crutchie again, she frowned. "...I... guess it means I can actually explore and stuff... I know nothing will happen to me--" In which the narrator interrupts to say she'll be in for a nasty surprise, "--but what if I hurt you guys though? That's why big sis keeps me inside..."

Araragi sighed softly and stood back up. It was none of his business, but he was determined to help. "We'll probably find out what happened if we can separate what she remembers from what she can't recollect." He turned his head to Madoka now. "See if you can-... hurt us?!" he whipped back around to Flandre.

Flandre flinched at the harsh tone as he whipped back around, eyes watering again. "I- I- I have a lotta strength. And I c-can't always c-control it w-well..? A-And my d-destruction power is h-hard too... BUT I PROMISE I TRY..!" That last part was a desperate shriek. Ouch.

Araragi winced at the crying child and backed up, then tried to continue in a gentler tone. "Sorry..." He nodded in agreement at what Crutchie said and then gestured to Madoka. "Don't you remember your friend? Have you recognized anyone here?" he asked, attempting a friendly smile.

Flandre turned on Araragi. "H-Have I not made it clear enough that I d-dunno anyone here? 'C-CAUSE I DUNNO A-ANYONE HERE!" She suddenly slumped down to the floor, feeling like she could burst from the mixture of anger, confusion, frustration and sadness she was feeling. She didn't really know any proper ways to let it all out either...

"S-Sorry!..." Araragi said again, putting his hands up in defense. He never had to deal with kids, unless Shinobu counted, but she was usually pretty tame even when things were bad. He let Cutchie take over and looked over his shoulder at Flandre, hoping she would relax a little.

"I- I wanna just go HOME. I want big sister. I want people to stop getting u-upset and expecting me to know them." Flandre vented a little, but still felt very pent up. Her hands were trembling, and a disturbing amount of 'eyes' were popping up in the girl's vision. She was starting to breathe rather shakily as she saw them everywhere. She wanted to grab one, just one, but that would be bad, wouldn't it?

(he'D DIE IF SHE TOOK IT OUT ON HIM TBH, the 'eyes' aren't actual eyes, rather, they are the point of highest tension in something. If she grabs an 'eye' whatever that 'eye' belonged to goes boom-
someone let her have a lamp or something before a person dies plz)

"You can go home when you blink out," Araragi explained, repeating what Madoka had already said. "We can wait here with you until that happens if it helps. If not, we can leave." Though if that was her choice, he would probably refuse anyway. He frowned as she began to seem distracted. "...Are you all right?" He reached out to give her a poke, as if to snap her out of it.
(lol if that's the case feel free to take anything out on araragi, he can take it)

(rippppp)
Flandre snarled surprisingly viciously at Araragi as he tried to poke her, snapping at his finger with her fangs.
Don't poke vampires kids, especially ones that are already distressed.

(is there anything a high school student/aberration mediator-in-training could have on hand to help her? xD)
Araragi yelped and pulled his bitten finger back. "Sorry!" he said yet again, cupping it in his other hand and feeling the wound immediately heal. No doubt about it, this kid was like a second Shinobu. Of course, being dense, he had no idea how close he was. He inhaled and watched Crutchie's efforts in talking to the girl, hoping she would agree. Then again... Aren't the rooms random? And dangerous? He wanted to facepalm.

(idk x'D)
Flandre hesitated, then got up and took Crutchie's hand. She was still upset, but well, maybe at least wandering a little and exploring would calm herself down. She hoped so...

Crutchie's calm tone soothed her a little, and she watched her own feet as they walked. The unfamiliar floor kept her wary, but at least the 'eyes' were beginning to disappear from her vision. "S-Sorry..." She mumbled, fretting slightly as she thought of how close to destruction she had been there.

Araragi sighed and turned to follow, relieved. He of course assumed he was invited along, and he followed as the last of the three, behind Flandre. Araragi did open his mouth to speak, but thought better of it, even if it were just an attempt to comfort her. Crutchie was doing a fine enough job anyway. He would be sure to get his questions in though; perhaps the girl's missing memories would be a clue as to how this place worked.

Unfortunately for Araragi, the chances of Flandre ever recovering a memory is slim to none. Luckily for everyone though, the little blonde vampire girl was calmer now, wings fluttering slightly. "I'm... I'm okay." She finally sighed.
"...Kyoko said something about a bird room last time. Do you know where that is?" She suddenly asked, curious.

(don't worry his plan is really just looking around the house and maybe trying to talk to spirits that aren't there xD)
Araragi let Crutchie explain, basically watching him to learn his method of talking to kids. "You like birds?" he tried to smile, noticing the change in Flandre's behavior. Aha! That must be a safe question, right?

"I guess I do? I've never really seen a bird in real life, and I wanna! ...or at least, if I have, I don't remember." Flandre frowned a little saying that, but otherwise was still okay, if a little disappointed that it looked like they wouldn't be finding the bird room any time soon. Or maybe they would; who knows.
