Araragi stepped out from behind Noctin and hesitantly raised his hand to return Nico's greeting. "I don't make friends," he said quietly in response to Noctin, "and I don't make enemies, either. Not that I know of." Vampire hunters don't count. He paused in a moment of realization. "I'm Koyomi Araragi, by the way. I... don't think we've met." It was a halfhearted introduction.

"...Nice to meet you too." Araragi stood there for a long minute, just looking awkward as usual. It seemed he may be waiting for Nico to approach as well. He shifted his weight and looked around the room. "I'm not usually the one to engage the conversation," he explained to the two of them. Normally he would just stand and stay silent, but he had the strange feeling that they were waiting on him to converse. Where are you from, What do you know about this place, and so on would probably be socially acceptable.

Ivory: Sure, I'll go ahead and bring Snape in too. ) Snape blinked in, face blank and closed, a sort of careless look in his black eyes. His shoulders were tense, but his face was oddly relaxed but tensed instantly when he blinked in. He stood and raised his wand in one swift movement, backing away until he hit the wall. This was bad, this was very, very bad. (Reusing this if anyone wants to rp. )

(Snape <3)
Harlequin blinked in, crouched down on his heels as if he had just landed on his feet. His golden eyes moved from confused to calculating as the scene around him shifted. He blew a strand of hair out of his face and sighed in annoyance. "You have rotten timing." He muttered aloud.
Spyridon blinked into a shadowy corner of the room. His body was turned three-quarters to the side and his face was half hidden by a black clad shoulder so that only his ruby red eyes could be seen, glowing with unnatural light. Something white and reflective was held against his chest.
"That's creepy." Harlequin stated from the floor.

A fellow Snape fan?)
The two people apparated(he assumed) in at roughly the same time, so it only made sense to guess they were working together. Snape didn't move, his face was icy, his black eyes calm but guarded. One of them, at least, seemed to know what was going on. He waited silently to see if they would say more, though he didn't lower his wand.

(*Waves Snape is #1 foam finger* lol. But yes I am a fellow Snape fan. He was one of the greatest anti-heroes ever written imo)
Harlequin rocked backwards to sit on the floor, legs-crossed. "What are you doing over there?" He called to Spyro whose very body looked to be wrapped in a cloak that flared and curved at the end.
Spyro's lips curved and he brought forward the object in his hands. It appeared to be a human skull carved out of ivory with sapphire jewels planted inside its sockets. Carvings of what appeared to be runes ran across the cheekbones.

Snape narrowed his eyes, trying to get a better look at the skull. It looked old, very old. The fact that it was a skull didn't bother him, but the idea of whoever the people who had kidnapped him having it did. "Stupify." He said very quietly, aiming his wand at Spyro. Having one conscious enemy was much better than two.
(I agree, definitely. )

Harlequin was about to reply when the Skull opened its bony jaw and a pitch black hole could be seen swirling inside. It appeared to swallow something and then closed its mouth again, the sapphires in its eyes glowing and then fading. Both Spyro and Harlequin stared at the Ivory Skull. "What was that?" "Ah. The skull reacted to some form of magic that must have been cast nearby." "Magic? The House's?" Harlequin assumed seeing that neither he nor Spyro had moved. "Perhaps." Spyro replied with a glint in his eye. Sometimes this youngling could be quite dense. Perhaps he'd tell the boy to look over his shoulder. Perhaps not. "So. What did it do with the Magic?" Harlequin asked with a fascinated expression. He had particular fondness for magical items. Well, a close friend of his did. "It absorbed it." Was all Spyro said.

Snape paused, the discovery that he was defenseless putting him even more on edge. He turned his his cold black eyes to Harlequin and attempted to perform Legilimency on the young man.

"It has been quite a long time since someone has attempted to read this mind." Came a soft, whispering voice. "You are not welcome here little Wizardling. But you do have the Mark of Favor on you so I shan't harm you. Begone now before I change my mind."

Snape stiffened. The Mark of Favor...his dark mark? Probably. "If you want me gone, why did you summon me?" He asked, carefully stepping into view with his wand out.

"Eh?" Harlequin turned around to see a tall, dark shape with black eyes and equally black hair. He was certain he had seen this face before. Harlequin felt a tug deep in his chest area. "Oh?"
"Foolish Wizardling." The whispery voice resounded in Snape's head. "The child didn't summon you and neither did the Nosferatu." Its laughter sounded like the chiming of church bells before it faded away entirely.
Spyro deigned to say nothing, not even to deny his role in any of this. It just seemed people were content with blaming him for this...whatever it was.

Snape stared cautiously at the two men. His eyes flicked down to the skull for a half second, then back at the others. "I presume you know me?" He murmured to the voice, but since he couldn't track it he continued staring at the other visitors. He carefully closed his mind with flawless Occlumency.

"Bahahaha! Your Occlumency doesn't work with me I'm afraid. And of course I know you. You are a page are you not? I am fairly certain I never forget. Now. Be nice to the child, he may seem a couple nails short of a full box but he is more capable than he seems. He has me after all." The Voice came again.
Harlequin blinked at the black and white spectral human with some confusion. "Who are you talking too?"
Spyro sighed at his companion's incompetence. It was so hard to mediate Harlequin's intelligence. Sometimes he blew Spyro right out of the water. Other times he wondered if the boy's brain really did wander away somewhere.

"Indeed." Snape answered the voice quietly, this time taking care to move his lips as little as possible. It was now very important to stay on this person's good side. If he were as powerful as he claimed to be - and Snape suspected he was - a battle could mean certain death. "I don't suppose either of you could tell me where I am?" He asked in a more open tone, attempting to look less threatening.

(Lonely Xp)
"The Paradox House!" Harlequin chirped happily with a grin. "I am Harlequin Enchiridion. Well Met." Spyro rolled his eyes. Why did people just say Paradox House as if that explained everything? An elbow to the side made him huff. "Spyridon at your service." He muttered with a fake smile.

Back, but I might poof. )
That answer did the double agent no good whatsoever. He glanced at Spyridon, moving only himseyes, and inclined his head courteously at them both. "And do you mind explaining why I'm here?" He went on, not bothering to introduce himself.
