Araragi stepped forward when Nico blinked in, almost walking right into the newcomer. "S-Sorry..." he murmured. He sighed and tried to think of something that could settle down Peridot. An alien from another planet, eh? He found himself smiling, crossing his arms and stopping beside Nico. "This one's adjusting." Of course, the more people interested in finding a way out of here, the better for Araragi.

Rei shook her head at Peridot's question. Transmitter station...that sounded vaguely familiar, but there wasn't one in the house. "No. This house does not have any logical or familiar things on here." She clarified quietly. Hearing Dipper, she glanced curiously at him. "Hm?"

I meant to post that on a different thread, but I guess I'll leave them up since the arlo pic could be tph related (maybe I can add a tph background tomorrow... I can't remember if I've actually drawn her in the house before?) Thank you!)) Arlo sketch. I need to fix her hair, it's a little bit off a wolf (or a dog idk)

(//hugs// okay stri, i hope you feel better <3 raven;; the perspective on the canine is A+) Peridot's face fell. "Nothing?" she persisted. At the realization that she had, she slid to the floor and pulled her legs to her chest. "This is just great; I'm trapped in yet another weird place." The others had said something about being transported back, but her desperation from before was only added onto the confusion of this new location.

Araragi stepped forward, trying to give a comforting smile. She was just lost after all. "Say... what's your name?" he asked. "And it doesn't take long to go back. You'll be there before you know it."

"Araragi Koyomi," the boy introduced, his smile twitching. It was a challenge for him to be supportive in the first place, but Peridot was taking it a little too far. "I'm afraid there's no transmitter station that I know of... You might find something else here though, but you should be warned that it's dangerous. If you look around, let me come too." There had to be more to this place; there was someone or something behind the scenes, and it had become quite the mystery for Araragi. Naturally, he would never let someone go into danger on their own like that either.

Araragi scratched the back of his head awkwardly. Peridot's terminology was... unique, to say the least. It reminded him of Kissshot back in the day. At least she didn't think of him as portable food. He walked past her into the hallway and chuckled at her wariness. "I'm pretty sure it never ends," he informed her. "The rooms are what's dangerous." Then he continued walking, making his way down the hall and inspecting everything fairly thoroughly. "This place is an aberration of some kind," he hypothesized.

Araragi laughed at that, "They change all the time actually," he explained. "Most are filled with traps." He wondered if only the rooms moved, or the doors as well. If the latter, then perhaps labelling them was the answer. It was difficult to make conjectures as a fairly new blinker, especially when there were visitors with so much more experience in this place. Then again, how could they still know so little? He slowed as they walked, and looked over at her. "So are you a kaii?" he asked in all seriousness. "I'm not going to hunt you or anything." Thinking on it a little more, she certainly had nothing to do with this place, did she? She showed up long after it formed and seemed to have no idea about it. Then again, sometimes this was how kaii worked. He tapped his chin and narrowed his eyes at Peridot.

"I haven't been in many, but just be prepared," Araragi advised. When she questioned what he was talking about, he stopped. "A Gem." Hmm... That could very well be a variation of kaii. In this moment, a thought bubble would have appeared over his head. He was trying to imagine Oshino saying that. Gem. There was no metaphor there he could decipher either. "I'm pretty sure you aren't." Then he continued walking. "Oddities in my world are like ghosts, sort of. More like... vampires. Well, that's an example." He crossed his arms. "You might not understand this." He was well aware that the worlds were different from each other in any number of ways. "Where are you from? You mentioned Earth. That's where I'm from," he informed her and slowly began walking again.

"Homeworld... That's a fitting name for your home planet," Araragi noticed aloud. He glanced back at her but didn't slow; it only made sense if she didn't want to get too close after that hunting talk. He should just call himself a mediator like Oshino. But Oshino was neutral. He was thinking about what Peridot had been saying now, and came to several conclusions. "Is Earth dangerous for you?" he asked. More so, he wanted to know how she became stranded there in the first place. If she didn't know much about Earth, he could be of assistance.

Araragi's eyes widened. "You mean an apocalypse?" He was completely caught off-guard. He slowed, watching her walk up ahead of him. "Are you sure?..." He couldn't be certain the two of them shared a timeline, but it was a frightening enough concept. "I-I don't think I'm ready to die..." Shinobu could live for a while, but he just wasn't that sort of vampire. "Why is the world ending?"
