"Have the rooms you've been in needed a gun?" Sherlock asked Nore, glancing at her Sith interest. "Mine have been a bit dull, really. Simple obvious tasks, not much fun at all. I get bored enough in my own world without discovering another one and finding it's just as dull." The detective placed emphasis on the last words, as if communicating his frustration was very important to him.

( >>Ice they don't Cx He's trying to calculate based off of what rooms he's been in previously. In this stage of his story, he's still relying pretty heavily on computer-like simulations and doesn't quite grasp the concept of 'completely random.' Idk what room they'll end up in but it won't have anything he's looking for. )
"Not sure I would consider it an opportunity." Ghost responded, eyes tracking each door as he passed it. It was difficult not having any sort of deciding factor behind a choice. Every door was identical, right down to the grain of the wood, giving him nothing to go off of. "People tend to get injured." He flicked an ear back towards Nore. "I'm not sure I would reccomend handling any weapon in your condition. Perhaps you should take up karate."

"It's actually to shoot myself when I get that bored," Nore teased, throwing her arms up and latching her hands together behind her head. Yes, she was certainly getting better at getting around. "What kind of stuff do you do in your world?" she asked. "Like, detective stuff and what else?" Then she faced forward again at Ghost's suggestion. "What makes you think karate will be less dangerous. I could take you out if I aimed the wrong way with a chop." She then proceeded to demonstrate, or just try it out, by slicing one hand through the air.

"Yes, well, that could make a bit more sense." Sherlock agreed, thinking back to his first room, the giant pointless freezer. He glanced at Ghost for an instant, hearing his comment. "Oh, people get injured all the time, that's no reason for it not to be on opportunity." He said dismissively, before turning back to Nore. "Yes, mostly just detective work, although I do do the occasional favor for people with interesting problems. I once helped my current landlady get rid of her husband, for example."

Sherlock then abruptly blinked out, the abandoned book disappearing as well.

"Karate is a fighting method that include grappling your opponent. Not as reliant on vision." Ghost tilted his head sideways and let her hand fly past, looking unimpressed although the expression was lost on Nore. "I was not concerned with my own well being however, I was considering your effectiveness in combat." His pace slowed and he came to a stop in front of a door, realizing his search for any kind of 'sign' was futile. "Any objections?"

"Whatever you say, mister dog." There wasn't any arguing to be done about that, and she accepted it. Nore put her shoulders back, prepared. "No objections!" she announced and waited with a grin for Ghost to open the door and reveal a room. She was a little excited; she hadn't actually opened a door in a while.

Ghost looked her over for a moment, then decided it was only one girl. If anything happened, he could make sure she made it out. Standing up momentarily, he twisted the doorknob with a very un-doglike movement, then dropped back to all fours and pulled it open.
(I have absolutely no idea what the room should be xD
um....

(Hey guys! Hop in Let's do a huge autumn tree ^^ ) Ears forward, Ghost advanced into the room, dripping every other step. It seemed to be a large cavern of some sort, with something soft and vegetative underfoot.

I might poof. )
Sherlock blinked in, immediately stumbling over Ghost and barely catching himself. His eyes narrowed against the sudden change in lighting, and the urgent spark in them changed to one of a strange mix between interest and annoyance. "A room, is there anything worth my time in here?" He asked, straightening and brushing off his long coat.

(oops sorry, got stranded at the bus stop pfft )
Ghost didn't squawk like most animals do upon being tripped over, he just sort of slipped between Sherlock's legs and ended up far enough away to avoid any further contact, adding a momentary leveled gaze in the man's direction to clarify that it wasn't appreciated. "Time," The shepherd replied. "Is relative. In any case, this chamber appears empty, so I shall be progressing. What you do is up to your own discretion." He padded away, perhaps somewhat difficult to see in the low light at first, but quickly becoming a silhouette as he approached a source of light just around a nearby corner.
(my thought is that they are in the trunk of the tree o3o Idk if that was clear tho lol)

Sherlock frowned slightly, tilting his head to one side. "Yes, obviously, of course time is relative but that doesn't mean I should waste mine." He replied rather impatiently, walking along with the dog as that seemed to be the only way forward. The earthy smell and the feel of plant life beneath the detective's feet reminded him of a forest, so he put an arm out and felt the wall. Definitely wood.....He removed his fingers and gave them a quick sniff, trying to identify the type of tree. Before he could do this, however, he noticed the light in front of him and quickened his pace.

Ghost paused when he reached the edge of what he had first labeled a doorway but was in fact simply the opening... of a very, very large tree. He sort of just stopped, staring out into the branches that stretched for hundreds of yards, maybe even a mile. Leaves the size of school buses and acorns big enough to use as a beach ball only added to the confusing information he was trying to piece together. But then the flaming cacti came to mind and the shepherd realized this was another impossibility. "Everything is relative, it seems."

Sherlock stopped as well, the fall wind hitting him full in the face and sending his curly black hair flying backwards, as well as his coat and scarf. "Not everything." He answered, though he sounded distracted, and took the first step into the giant tree. A gigantic leaf flipped gracefully past him, but the detective was much too distracted by the rest of the fascinating environment to pay it much mind.

Ghost's ears, then his head suddenly turned to face back towards where they came from. "Sherlock." He hissed quickly, quietly, after a moment of intensely staring back into the darkness. "We need to move, now."

It was slightly unnerving how little Naegi seemed to care that Noctin had straight up murdered him. It didn't matter what would have happened if he hadn't been the one to kill Naegi. He had. There was no point in considering other paths. "Aren't you scared?" he asked, wrapping his arms more tightly around himself as if that would bring the physical reassurance he wanted. "To be completely honest," Naegi finally broke eye contact, gaze drifting to his lap. "...I kind of am. But it's moreso a fear of the house itself, instead of a fear towards you. After all, if it can force you to kill me... Who knows what else it can do?" Shaking his head, a small smile graced his lips. "But I know you took good care of..." Oh. That's right. Noctin didn't remember her... "...The people here." He awkwardly finished, quick to continue on. "So I don't doubt that you'll do your best to take care of me, too. If anything, I should be the one apologizing. I can only imagine how difficult it can get, trying to take care of yourself and someone else in a place where your life is on the line..." Naegi met Noctin's gaze again. "I know we haven't gone in a room where I'd need your protection yet, but I'm grateful that you'd even consider protecting me when you have yourself to take care of..." A sigh left him, eyes flickering back to his lap, before shutting them in thought. "...Can I ask something that's a little selfish?"

Sherlock turned, glancing back at Ghost. He didn't see anything wrong, and honestly he was enjoying the impossible change of scenery. This room had a lot of potential, and as he looked back at the dog he swayed slightly before catching his balance. "Why?" He asked, and since Ghost was an older member than he was he at least had the sense to keep his voice down. "Something wrong?"

A defeated sigh escaped Noctin, and he seemed to fold farther in on himself. At least Naegi was honest about it. Though at the moment he might have preferred a lie. Pathetic. He should have fought against the House. He should have done something. His gaze flickered over to Naegi at his awkward pause, his eyes narrowing slightly.
What was this newfound suspicion? He hadn't taken care of the House members much at all. Sure he had tried with Nore, but that had blown up in his face. And then there was Junko. He must have known her at some point. Why else would he have reacted so strongly when she said her name? And with what Naegi was saying, was he implying someone Noctin didn't know about? He wanted to ask. He desperately wanted to ask but he didn't want to fight that fight if it came to it. Letting his gaze drop, Noctin let his suspicions fall away.
"It's not that difficult," he muttered. Of course Naegi was right. They hadn't been in a room where he needed protection from anything except Noctin. The irony was crushing.
His interest piqued at Naegi's question, though apprehension quickly followed. "Yes, of course," he said anyways. "Anything."
