“Oh, yeah that happens.” Rue confirmed, blinking at Sol. “Not very often though, not to me, anyway.” She considered the other girl for a long moment, then nodded, taking Sol’s hand. “Yeah, that works for me.” She said, smiling as she headed for the hall. “I’ve never found that the door matters, but you never know. There could be some kind of weird code to it. Anyway, do you want to pick the door?”

</div> Sol | Trick or treat room | Iceclaw |Sol blinked, head turning to follow the other, more excitable girl as she bounced around, her tone practically vibrating with happiness at the prospect of meeting a new friend. The new friend who had just punched her in the face a few minutes ago. Oh god. This girl was going to die. "Uhh, yeah," she began, still trying to adjust to the fact that she'd somehow ended up as maybe the only thing standing between this girl and near certain death. "They call it the Paradox House. I guess it like, kidnaps you for a while then puts you back? I dunno how it works." Well, she may not have much or any caution, but she had eyes. So she had that going for her. "Hey, what's going on around here?" she asked, tilting her head to indicate the crowded street. "I hear lots of people, but I dunno what they're doing."

“Assassinate the host.” He said easily. It was an answer he knew not many people would likely expect, and it required context. Was he going to give it? Maybe he just liked to build a little bit of excitement before he went and explained all the details. Myrnin seemed to be quite the character so far. He had been dangerous and he had killed Kel, true, but he also seemed quite fun and interesting, and Kelsier discovered that he had no ill feelings towards the vampire. He wasn’t even just saying that. “I see.” He said, taking all the information in. It seemed complicate, but he thought he understood the gist of it. “I’ve been blinking in a lot lately, but I don’t know whether I would call myself a regular blinker or not.” He added thoughtfully. “I’m certainly not an original blinker, there were lots of older people already here when I first blinked in.” He looked at Myrnin, head slightly tilted as he considered him. “So you’re probably an older blinker than I am.” He decided. “Not that the House makes it easy to tell. But you seem to know more than me, so probably you’ve been there longer. Or at least had more blinks.” “Three years?” He repeated, frowning slightly. “I’ve been here for about...a year I suppose? I was blinking in very infrequently, and then I started blinking in a lot more this month.” He paused. That was all very interesting, but he suspected it wasn’t to Myrnin. And there it was. Well, he was happy enough to talk about himself. “I’m a thief.” He began, smiling. “Me and my crew are very good, too. But I’m not a petty criminal, in case that’s what you assume when you hear the term. Yes, I do take what I can, but I never steal from someone in need. I don’t know what your world is like, but in mine, there are noblemen and there are Skaa, and the Skaa are the ones being taken advantage of.” Kel’s eyes darkened a bit. He was willing to talk about this, but that didn’t mean it didn’t make him angry. “I won’t go into the unspeakable horrors the Skaa are subject to. Just know that it’s enough to make killing all the nobility a gift.” The Mistborn leaned against the wall, folding his arms across his chest. He smiled again, but this time it was a darker expression. “I’m going to kill the Lord Ruler.” He added quietly. “He’s the cause of all of this. They say he’s a piece of the gods and that he’s unkillable, and he’s lived many lifetimes, but he hasn’t met me yet. I’m going to kill him and I’m going to free the Skaa and end the reign of the nobility. And I’m going to do it all with a heist.” His smile deepened. “Any questions?” "Oh?" said Myrnin, eyebrows rising. "I'd love to know the context for that. It sounds like there's a story to it that I'd want to know about." He sounded like it would be particularly insightful into who Kelsier was, needless to say. "It sometimes comes in waves when people blink in," Myrnin said. "I'll admit I don't exactly know the science of it. But I do know there are some people who make a point of theorizing about it. I'm usually the one who tries to see what happens if you stick a pencil under a closed door in the hallway." This and other things. And he was interested if Kelsier was interested, he just wasn't sure if he had any comments. But he did lean forward when Kelsier mentioned that he was a thief. "Oh? I think that's impressive. What exactly do these noblemen had that's worth stealing? What do the Skaa not have?" He wondered what Kelsier was counted as. A nobleman or a Skaa? He got the impression that the animosity from those of the lower-class was likely universal, but he well knew that the lower-class could be kept uneducated and unskilled in societies that didn't want them. If that was the case, then it might place Kelsier's chances at being a discontented nobleman a lot higher. "I see," he said after a second. Killing off all the nobility. Hum. "What's your plan then? To kill this Lord Ruler?" Myrnin held up his hand and made the sign of, of all things, the Girl Scouts. "Promise not to tell." Not that he had anyone to tell. "What heist?"

Speed run let's goooooooooo ))
With a slight bang, of falling potted plant (minus the plant you understand), Myrnin blinked in. He looked down at the smashed item, spilling dirt across the living room floor, and sighed. "Come on House. Let me at least catch it before you treat my poison-treated dirt in this fashion. Also, someone might step in it. Do you make blinkers poison resistant?"

It was rather fortunate the house was as indestructible as it is, as when Shade blinked in she was mid swipe, clearly intent on ensuring the end of something... or someone. But her claws only met the wall with a horrid scratching sound, tearing through the classy wallpaper and grinding her teeth when the sensation was far different from what she would usually expect. "Dammit- house! You- Oh, hello," she corrected herself, spotting Myrnin and going from murder-intent to friendly and cheery in expression.

Asami blinked in, her tendrils fully exposed and moving about in various directions as she grabbed and manipulated the objects that had been above her - she was holding, in the many "hands" protruding from the segments of where her head should be, several books, a fish tank, a fifty pound bucket of aquarium gravel, and a small houseplant.

[SPEED RUN TIME HELL YEAH!]
Mabel appeared in the living room, happy to see that there were already other blinkers here. More new people meant more new friends! "Hello!" she called, excitedly running up to them.

Hook blinked in with his sword drawn, his chin raised slightly with a cocked grin. He stood en garde, though his blade dropped in disappointment realizing the change in scenery. He tossed his head around with a sigh, not acknowledging the other blinkers until he spotted Shade, who he smirked at in greeting.

"Sorry Frenchmen," said Myrnin, sounding sorry. It was with a bit of a distracted tone, however. He did seem a bit intent on leaving the dirt where it had fallen though (natural hazard). "Oh hello Shade? Are we hunting?" He was a bit surprised when several other various people and creatures also blinked in. "Ah? Are we having an event of some sort? A birthday?" He pointed to the hallway. "Um ... You all might want to head out there." He pointed toward the dirt. "That may be potentially toxic to humans."

Kelsier blinked in, slashing the air with two glass daggers. He landed hard, stumbling slightly as the floor came up closer than he’d anticipated. He straightened up, glancing around the living room as more people appeared around him. “Busier than usual.” He remarked, then noticed Myrnin and waved, smiling. “Nice to see a friendly face.” He noted, dipping his head at the vampire. Then he noticed Nico and waved to him as well. It really was getting crowded now. There was even...oh. Oh. The Mistborn’s eyes narrowed at the man with a hook for a hand.

"Something like that..." she answered her vampire friend, then met Hooks eyes with a returning smirk and a wink. It was still odd to her how he seemed to be the only one really aware of her occupation... But the inside humor was definitely not something she would miss out on. Her eyes widened a bit as several other people appeared in the room, leaving her feeling a tad claustrophobic and finding herself inching nearer to her pirate companion for a bit of grounding. "Never been fond of birthdays..."

Mabel glanced around the room as people blinked in around her. She'd been in a crowded room before, but even then, people didn't blink in quite as quickly as this. "HOUSE PARTY!" she exclaimed, jumping onto the couch. She didn't know if it was anyone's birthday like Myrnin had proclaimed, but either way, this was an event to celebrate.

Asami, seeing that she'd appeared in the House again, carefully untangled her tendrils and gently placed the fish tank down on the floor. Then, she carefully stacked all the books inside of it, and placed the gravel and the plant nearby, careful not to tip either one over.
Then, she began to contract, rearranging and compressing all the moving parts until slowly, they folded up and compressed to form a perfect human face. If no one had seen her moments before, it would've been impossible to tell her apart from a normal human.
"Another irregularity," she said flatly, moving towards the group of humans and....others. She did not particularly want to see what would happen if she exposed her body to something toxic.

Nico raised a hand in greeting as he noticed Kelsier, unable to stop the smile that tugged lightly at his lips. He was aware that Hook was there, and they hadn't exactly made up after their last encounter, but he wasn't terribly concerned. If he hated everyone who had ever killed him, he'd be hating a lot of people. Even if they had done it twice. Without thinking, he approached Kelsier and watched the others blink in. "Perhaps," he said, glancing around, "We might want to try a room? The living room is already getting... awfully crowded." He shifted uncomfortably, grateful that there was a corner to more or less retreat into. There were a lot more people than he was used to seeing blink in at once.

Hook cast a look in Myrnin’s direction as he warded the quickly growing crowd to the hallway. “What?” He muttered harshly to himself, glancing to the substance he’d mentioned in confusion. The pirate continued to pay no mind to the dark glares that were already being sent his direction - though they prompted him to wander over to Shade’s side. “Me either, love,” he said under his breath to her, side eyeing the swarm of blinkers as he spoke.

Kelsier looked up as Nico came closer, his own smile deepening. “Probably a good idea.” He decided, shooting a dark look at Hook again. He could attack, but there were too many people around who could get hurt and he knew it. They’d have to settle this later. He glanced at the mess on the floor. “And also that.” He noted, as it seemed to be poisoned, according to Myrnin. “Yeah, let’s go.” He headed for the hall, hoping Nico would follow him through the crowd.

"Because I'm a vampire and it doesn't hurt me," Myrnin said with a shrug. He waved toward the hallway. "So out, everyone out. Humans in particular. The ... party ... can be in a room or something." On the off chance Mable didn't listen, he edged here in that direction. And waved at Kelsier, smiling. What? Be polite to people he'd murdered. "You make a good point, Nico," he muttered, in passing out to the hall.

"I think everyone has the right idea heading out into the hall though, more places to avoid people," she mumbled to Hook, smirking and chuckling softly. "And who knows what Myrnin just brought in with him... Not terribly keen to find out. Should we head off as well?" She inquired, watching a blond fellow and Nico head off. Quite the mix of new and old in this crowd, she noted.

Asami walked along with the group, scanning each individual face and trying to match their expressions to the photos she'd studied. The one with yellow hair. Smiling. Happy. The small one. Physically active, smiling, high volume. Very happy.
One of them did not smell like a human. That was irregular. She would follow that one...she did not think he was her kind, but she had read nothing about creatures other than humans and parasites.

"I am aware of how rooms work" said Asami, craning her neck a slightly unnatural amount backwards to look over her shoulder at the person who had spoken. "I have been taught how to use doors."

Mabel liked the idea of a room, and plus people were already heading towards the hallway, so she decided to take Myrnin's suggestion. The young girl jumped off the couch and energetically followed the crowd.

Hook tugged at his collar, shrugging off the prick of annoyance that came with the number of lingering eyes. “Aye, but only in the right room,” he pointed out rather pessimistically. He chuckled a bit as she agreed that the supposedly dangerous dirt wasn’t something she wanted to meddle with, though he scowled a bit at the idea of sticking with the group. He tossed her defeated look instead of answering, suggesting she could likely drag him along with her.

If Kelsier had been burning tin he would have heard the quite reply, but he wasn’t. It seemed a poor idea under the noisy circumstances. “Nico-“ he turned, but the boy was gone, probably shadow traveled to the hall. Well, all the more reason to get there faster. He turned and headed through the crowd, gently squeezing past some people and then not so gently shoving past Hook - or maybe just shoving him, it was hard to say. He kept going without glancing at the pirate.
