The Doctor shuddered as the ship shifted around her and then seemed to calm. She tried to not think of it like the death throws of some large beast. The hissing remained. Something was probably leaking somewhere. The Time Lady clambered to her feet, shaking a bit. The room swam around her. She'd probably hit her head. This wasn't her main worry. "Volt," she said, her only form of greeting as she clambered over a heep of junk. Her hair was a jumbled mess around her face and it looked like she had been scratched up badly. The whole room was a mess and she didn't at once spot the human blinker she'd been relying on to help keep this ship aloft. For all the good that did now. "Volt," she tried again. "I think we need to get off this ship." Everything still looked wobbly, but she still clambered to the last place she'd seen Matt.

"Doctor." Volt nodded in return. Her helmet angled up as she took a better look at their surroundings. "This is... we're in a ship?" Somehow that was more unbelievable than the castle beneath the lake, like she had seen last time. The Tenno ducked under the broken panel, noting the sound of escaping gas somewhere nearby. That wasn't good. The flickering cabin lights indicated there was still an active power source somewhere as well, creating a dangerous combination of volatile substances. Volt's hands tightened into fists and her steps became much more deliberate, making sure not to scuff her feet against the metal floor and accidentally add any sparks of her own. At The Doctor's next statement, she nodded again. "Good plan. Who is -?" The Tenno moved closer as the woman climbed unsteadily over a pile of shifting debris, hands extended to catch The Doctor if she fell. "Easy, easy. You're injured."

Shade was thoroughly taken aback by the statement, her jaw dropping enough to let her mouth hang open in shock. She made no comment though, and simply smiled. It was flattering to be on the receiving end of that statement, after all it usually preceded their most epic adventures together, usually with Hook in the lead. But this time, she was fine to take charge and give him a rest. Since he seemed to be implying that, of course. Her ears snapped up sharply when she heard shouting, vaguely recognizing... Myrnins voice? Maybe, it was hard to tell from here. She was pretty sure it was him though. Very nearly she darted out, but stopped upon Hooks voice breaking through that instinct and stopped to consider, staring at him for a long moment, then at the front room. If things were happening... It would be best not to get involved. And Hook was so wonderful in his patience with people- she didn't want to give anyone a reason to ruin his good streak for him. Plus, if Myrnin was there, she trusted he would handle the situation appropriately. "I think it most assuredly is," she murmured back, then turned, jerked her head towards the hallway and started off at a silent jog. At times like these she thanked the stars for her less human traits, finding they made stealth overall much easier and effective, as well as general movement. Shade looked over her shoulder now and then and made sure he was following, smiled slightly, and continued until they had wound quite far down the hallways, where she stopped. "Think trouble will follow us this far?" she asked, laughing softly.

One of the Archies blinked out. Meanwhile.... Archie | Winter Hell | mintedstar/fur ~∂єѕтιиу, mentions HᥲꙆƒꙆɩɠᖾt and --cato phoenix and folks in the lodgeArchie looked curiously at all the people gathering around, his smile fading to a look of intrigue. Was the house always this busy? Even from the few times he’d been in, he couldn’t remember this many people. Suddenly it seemed like all the people duplicated with the stress and pressure of rising issue and, in an attempt to follow the (rather delightful) havoc, he turned his head one way, then violently the other as Myrnin shouted out to someone maybe familiar… but only maybe. Watching silently, he followed Arlo’s path over to the injured fellows, intrigued by the scene more than anything. Nobody died in the house, right? So no big deal. And she was healing them anyways, so what was all the fuss about? Looking between Myrnin and Vincent again, he only barely caught the silent message the vampire relayed and smirked, returning with Just how I like it. And hot cocoa be damned if he wasn’t incredibly tempted to go and make things worse. How would he make things worse, though? He mulled that over for a long second. He could stick bubblegum gloves on Arlos hands to perhaps prevent her healing, if that was a true ability she had. But then it seemed there were a few others over there as well, Sandalphon being one of them. Hm. The bubblegum gloves wasn’t a bad idea- maybe if he did that to everyone he could see if you could actually die in the house. Although, surely it would revive you, he figured. Frowning with a deep disappointment, he stopped with his wrench borrowing and sighed. He leaned like he was about to drift over to the bloody setting, inhaling deeply the salty scent of blood and snow. “Mmm, I suppose that’s best-“ he said slowly, looking back at Myrnin slowly, then seeming to process the first three things he’d said. “Burned down? A sweater with three people in it? How does that happen?” he asked, shaking his head. “I think I’ll join you though. Theres enough of a crowd over there and Ii’d hate to be…. Bothersome,” he said it slowly, unaware how deliberate it sounded despite his obliviousness. Like he was floating, he followed him back into the house and looked at the other newer occupants who appeared to be… hiding? Or just staying out of the way. Who knew. He almost sneered, finding the idea of hiding from such a scene to be rather silly. But well, whatever, had nothing to do with him. “Does this happen often?” he inquired, the inquiry aimed at Myrnin or Vincent, if he was even still present.

ougi - inside lodge - sam, spinel
Ougi reared back her head at Sam’s question. At first she thought he was talking about vampirism, and his current state. But he meant something a little less metaphorical, apparently. She nodded her head in response. “It’s a recurring location. I’ve been here... two times before this?” She counted on her fingers, but the digits were merely lumps under her pink sleeve. The cuffs of her uniform still extended past her hands, even sticking out of her parka and wagging around like always. Her hand found its way to his shoulder now. “You had better be calming down now, because I’m not going to get in the way of a vampire.” The student looked past him to get a look at Spinel, surprised but relieved that the gem had stuck around for Sam; that made it easier to keep him in check. It was one of the few reasons Ougi didn’t ditch him herself.

Rue | Rock Climbing Room | Aizawa Rue nodded, turning her attention back to the wall. She wasn’t quite sure why he was helping her when he didn’t even know her, but she wasn’t complaining. He was kind of nice, a little like having someone who cared. “That makes sense.” She agreed seriously, and stepped towards the wall. “I think...” she wasn’t sure how to find a path. What did one of those look like? There was no apparent visual “paths” she could see. “There?” She suggested finally, pointing towards the area that had the most holds as far as she could tell. She glanced at him for confirmation, not eager to start climbing again unless he gave her the okay.

Riiiiiight. Talking. That would sure stop the human-eating monsters in their tracks. Juuzou bounced restlessly on his heels, a disappointed expression in his eyes as he glanced over his shoulder at Enjolras. “Talking isn’t going to stop them from killing us.” He pointed out. “They’re hungry, not stupid. You’re just saying that ‘cause there are no ghouls in your world.” He turned back to the window, mashing his face up against it so he could see what was happening. “I think someone’s dead.” He said out loud, squinting at the two blobs of color against the snow. One was on the ground, hence his assumption that it was no longer living. He sniffed the air curiously, as though he expected he could smell whatever was going on out there like a dog. “Hey lawyer, you don’t have any friends or anything, do you? Because they might be dead.” He added carelessly, and headed for the door.

Matt | Spaceship room | mintedstar/fur »ƑαƖcση Matt looked rather unwell, and he coughed a little as he sat up, clutching his ribs with one hand and trying to maintain balance with the other as the ship lurched precariously back and forth. Of course, it wasn't really lurching, but at the moment, Matt was too busy panicking to notice that his concussion was lying to him. "How we looking, Doc?" he asked, tone light despite the rather dire straits they were in. "Was that a rough landing or what - " He broke off, flinching, and ducked as low as he could, covering his face as sparks exploded from a nearby console. "Oh, yeah, that definitely shouldn't be happening..." he added, stating the obvious. "Woahhhh.....also, why are we still moving? We made it, right? Are we sliding....oh, that's not good. We should probably, uh...find the brakes, or something."

Aizawa | Hallway | Hange
Oh what the fu-
Aizawa lunged back as Hange suddenly sat bolt upright, their motions blurring as they looked around before their gaze fixed on him. Immediately activating erase again, he seized his capture weapon, ready to fight, only to watch them collapse again. Bristling, he backed up, eyes burning red. Erasing their abilities- whatever they were- knocked them unconscious? He couldn't even begin to imagine what kind of abilities one would have that would render them unconscious once erased. Unless they weren't unconscious?
Suspicion crept through him and he quickly stepped toward them, placing a hand on their neck to feel for a pulse.
He didn't need to feel for a pulse. The body was deathly cold against his fingers.
Erasing their abilities killed them. Great.
Eyes watering terribly, Aizawa forced them to stay open as he wound his capture weapon tightly around Hange. He blinked, sending the false tears trickling down his cheeks as he deactivated erase.

Aizawa | Rock Climbing Room | Rue
Aizawa scanned the path she had chosen. Plenty of holds, it looked easiest for someone of her height and skill level to climb. "Yeah," he said, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Go on, try again." She probably wouldn't fall but if she did, he'd be ready. Eyeing the room, he wondered if it would be necessary for him to climb something in order for the way out to appear. It seemed to be a rather slow paced room for now though, so he supposed he could just focus on learning more about Rue and the House.

Hange | Hallway Wall | Iceclaw | As Aizawa blinked, Hange's eyes flew open almost immediately, an unsettlingly reptilian motion in its stillness, not accompanied by the flailing or gasping for air that you'd expect from a human who had just been brought back to life. They lay still for a moment, eyes darting back and forth as they rapidly took in their situation. Aizawa. Blacked out again. Hair down. Eyes dark. Missing scarf - no, they amended, as they tried to move their hands and found them tightly bound by the same substance that had been wrapped around the teacher earlier, not missing. Used to capture them. Foolish...wouldn't be hard to break... They moved, jerking against the pressure of the capture weapon with startling suddenness, but the restraints held. Ohhhhhhhh.....that was very interesting.... "Congratulations," they said, eyes bright as they turned to the man, grinning and flashing a set of short, pointed fangs. "You captured me!"

Spinel nodded at Sam's comment but stayed mostly silent other than that as she looked around, not only rolling on her heels but also swinging her other arm slightly. It was nice, and definitely not as crazy as it seemed like it was outside the cabin at the moment. "Nooope!" she said, holding it out a little, only to stop and pause a second later. "Gee, I don't think so at least." It wasn't like there was a house or anything in the Garden, for instance; like it said in the name, it was a garden. It was outside, and there wasn't any use for one of these there and- wait. "What does it do?" She questioned, gesturing around with a hand. ( don't give her ideas XD) mintedstar/fur and Razzle Dazzle

What? Arlo’s eyes widened as she heard the detective’s words, how had that happened? It sounded bad too. If a room had canceled his abilities, why hadn’t he healed when he blinked into the lodge? Not that that mattered at the moment, the only thing important now was that she reached him before he died. Again. Death didn’t prevent her from healing people in the House, but it was more difficult and she didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks.
“I’m coming!” She called back as she continued plowing through the snow toward them as fast as she could.
It didn’t take too long for her to cross the distance but it felt like much longer. “Kaito! I’m here, you’re going to be fine,” she said as she dropped to her knees beside them and pushed Sherlock’s hand aside to see the wound for herself. He’d been shot by someone. Guns didn’t work when they blinked into the House so it must have been caused by a room. It was bad but Arlo had healed worse. She couldn’t sense or see anything besides blood and energy so she assumed that whatever he’d been shot with had gone all the way through or had vanished when he’d blinked out of the room. “Just hang on, okay?”
Energy twisted around her hands as she pressed them carefully against his bloodstained shirt and closed her eyes, focusing on reversing the damage caused by whatever the House had done. Luckily she hadn’t needed to use her powers too much in the last few days. The day of the plane crash when she kept blinking in to heal people had been really hard...

"I'm not the only one injured," muttered The Doctor as she stumbled away from the Tenno. She pushed her own concerning situation away in favor of trying to get to Matt. He'd likely broken a set of ribs, so it wasn't just whatever damage had been done from the collision. "We're stopped," she said to Matt as she passed, lightly letting her hand rest on his arms "We need to get out of here." This was all she said as she walked in a mostly straight line to where she remembered the exit being. She passed Volt in the process and looked over at her. "Coulda ya help us please?" she asked.

There was a brief moment where Sam almost flinched. Ougi was right. He shouldn't expect something like that of Spinel or Ougi. He hadn't either. There was just a very large part of him that didn't want to be alone. "I wont, need you to" he promised, even though it really wasn't one he could make. He glanced at Spinel instead, curious. "You sleep outside then?" He looked around the Lodge. There was some evidence of the outside - green garlands on the stair railing - but really it was just a winter retreat. There was even the faint smell of hot chocolate, which had to be somewhere else in the building. "It's generally meant to keep the rain off I think," he said in answer to Spinel's question, looking up at the roof. He glanced at Ougi then. "And - and h-h-humans get cold. This ... helps." He hurriedly changed the subject by asking, "And were those two other times this crazy?" This directed at Ougi.

It was in fits and bursts that Kid became aware of what was happening. At least he hadn't died. That, by a very wide margin, was one of his least favorite things to do. Arlo's magic, or whatever it was called, had healed his chest. His arms also, for the time being, included none of the scars or badly mended areas he had spotted for the past three years. Kid sat up with a start, gasping, able to breath easily and without the numbing pain of before. At once his eyes ran over Arlo and then Sherlock as well as the distant Sandalphon and Rowlin and the various others who were gawking onlookers. He relaxed, both of his hands braced at his side. "Sherlock," he breathed. "Remind me again why one of your friends is a gun woman? And why your other friend married her?" He collapsed backwards back into the snow, looking exhausted. The scars along his arms were already reforming, crisscrossing his fingers. The badly mended place in his arm returned. "Sorry," he muttered after a second, pushing himself up into a sitting position. "And thank you, Arlo." He patted his chest, as if really checking there weren't any holes. "We got into a bit of a scrape." He nodded in the direction of Sherlock, sounding just a teeny tiny bit amused as he said, "He'll explain." As if a cue from the House was needed to enforce this suggestion ... Kid blinked out. Leaving Sherlock to said explanation.

ougi - inside the lodge - sam, spinel
Ougi gave a smile--it was faintly strained, which was rare for the student. She thought back on the past times she had been in the Lodge. "Only one was," was her response to Sam. She let go of his shoulder, not without a slight shove, and let him explain what a house was to Spinel. And yes, that is hot chocolate, she nearly added, making her way past an enticing sofa toward the even more welcoming hot drink. It was already available in an ornate, rustic mug that kept itself warm. Ougi added a marshmallow or two and returned to lean on the fireplace's surround. She cast a selfish glance toward the window in hopes that she would see the outcome of Kid and Sherlock. "So, how long have you been like that?" It was a question she should have asked Sam when they first met, when she had gone on about vampires. But now it might both distract him from the situation at hand and give her some insight as to how cautious she should be in this situation.

At the Doctor’s request, Volt glanced from the male, Matt, then back to the woman. Medically speaking, there wasn’t much she could do to help, human biology was outside her scope of knowledge. Or Gallifreyian, in the case of The Doctor. She had other skills though. “Of course.” The Tenno followed after the two as they passed, stepping over debris and ducking under dangling power cables and various loose hoses. The hissing grew fainter as they moved away, but that didn't mean the danger was lessened. "Where did we land?" She could see what looked like an exit in the direction the Doctor was heading, but there was a small issue of breathing. "Does this planet have an atmosphere?" She could most likely force the doors open if it came down to it, but if there was no air beyond it...

Sherlock | Winter Lodge | Everyone Sherlock backed off immediately as Arlo came over, glancing her over as though he wasn’t sure whether or not she was going to try blaming him. A look of utmost relief came over his face as she didn’t, and he looked back down at Kid, watching the “procedure” intently. “Remarkable.” He murmured as the magic took effect. “Remarkable. I never do get used to it, you know. Magic and all.” Little scrape indeed. Sherlock almost snorted at that, but he didn’t, because he was still a little bit worried Kid was just going to topple over any second, and also because he was too busy trying to compile everything that had happened. How was he supposed to explain? Then, Kid was gone, and Sherlock really did snort. Good job, House. “It was a room.” He began, realizing too late that this was an unnecessary proclamation. He went on hurriedly before anyone could point it out. “Like he said, it had...a friend of mine...I’m it. She had a gun, she was angry with me for...” He swallowed. “Alright, House. You win. It’s my fault she’s dead, and it’s my fault Rosie’s gone, and it’s my fault John won’t even look at me. Is that what you wanted me to say? Because I admit it.” He lowered his head, like a dog expecting to be yelled at. “Mary shot Kid, because she was angry with me for losing her daughter. It was just a room. And Kid shouldn’t have been able to be hurt, so obviously the House was interfering to prove a point.”

Spinel tilted her slightly, unsure what Sam and Ougi were talking about. He wouldn't need her to do what? What did that even mean? She was confused with the statements, to say the least. She paused at his question, thinking for a hot second. "Well, yeah. Sometimes." She shrugged, before clarifying: "I don't really hafta sleep? I just do it when I'm bored and stuff." Which was becoming recently these days, but she didn't reflect on that as much. Instead, her face twisted a little in confusion at his explanation. This time, however, she didn't ask what rain or any of that jazz was, and merely replied with a small, "Okay," mintedstar/fur and Razzle Dazzle

(Sorry it took me so long to reply! I don't have any ideas for the new room, but I'm sure any of yours would be awesome uwu) Spinel watched as Sandalphon jumped over, absently bouncing on her heels again. Once he landed, she did a small clap, nodding at his answer. Still, flying would've been cool. Ah, well... She froze slightly as Sandalphon stumbled, tensing a little as her bouncing came to a stop. The tile didn't do anything, however- a fact that made her furrow her brows, with clear confusion evident on her face, as she looked from the moon to the Primarch in case she missed something. Well, that didn't make much sense, at least to her. Was it broken? "Ooookie dokie," the gem finally said, despite the fact that she still looked a bit worried. With that, she began to follow Sandalphon out of the room- that is, until she paused a moment later. "Are you okay?" she questioned, quickly observing the change in his motion. "You're kind of..." She trailed off, frowning a little. HᥲꙆƒꙆɩɠᖾt

A room full of bubbles that show the characters nightmares, bad memories and fears to them A room with statue of a big buff man holding his bicep, hand halfway between open and a fist, and grinning. (Arm wrestle to get through.) The characters find themselves in a large room with an altar. On the altar is a big glowing gem. Suddenly, an exact duplicate of the player appears with one exception: Opposite Alignments! The characters must then fight their opposite and destroy it, or manage to convince them to settle things peacefully. (This is the one I wasn't sure about pfft.))

Aizawa | Hallway | HangeAizawa stood, wound tense as a spring, fully prepared to kill them again should his capture weapon fail. Thankfully, it did not. Satisfied that Hange wouldn't be able to attack him, he crouched, balancing on the balls of his feet so that they were at the same level. "What are you?" he asked, ignoring their congratulations. They seemed equally surprised and delighted that he had captured and rendered them immobile. Not the strangest encounter he'd had, but odd nonetheless. Hange | Hallway | Iceclaw |"Hmmmm.....that's a complicated question," said Hange unhelpfully, their eyes eerily reflecting the dim light from the end of the hallway as they stared up at him. "I could answer in terms of identity, which would make it an even more complicated question, but I shall assume for convenience's sake that you intended to ask about my species. Which would be, at least in the world it originated from, called 'vampire'." They blinked, making no further attempt to escape from the capture weapon. "So, I have no idea how much that tells you about 'what' I am. Are there vampires in your world? How do you define them, if so? Are there actual species classifications, scientific names perhaps, or are the stories merely folklore, like in my own world? Do I match your perception of 'vampire', I wonder?"

Matt | Spaceship room | mintedstar/fur | »ƑαƖcση |"There should be, uh..." said Matt, rubbing his eyes as he tried to force himself to think through the pressure in his skull. "The, uh...thing. Control panel. Might have readings on what's outside. Whether we can breathe it, stuff like that. Uh, blue," he said, waving his hand in Volt's direction. "Or Doc. Either of you know where something like that might be?" It seemed, somehow, even more important now to stick to his story that he knew about spaceships from somewhere outside of long hours spent binge watching science fiction. You know, now that he'd had a hand in crashing the ship and all. It seemed like a poor time to come clean. So off he went, spinning himself even deeper into the hole he'd created for himself.

The Doctor was well aware that Matt had never seen the inside of a real spaceship in his life - then again that hadn't been the reason she had trusted him to fly it. All in all, they had ended up in a fairly decent situation considering what could have happened. The Doctor spun to a panel by the door, slamming her hand against it. "Matt, this is Volt. Volt, this is Matt," she introduced, though she seemed distracted. She brushed her hand over the screen of the panel before she said, "The sensors are jammed. In theory ... this was our destination." She glanced back at Volt and then Matt. "So hopefully it does." She sounded a bit apprehensive, but generally had resigned herself to the assumption that they were stuck in this situation. "I can go first," she said. She should be alright ... though the key words were 'should'. She hurried forward, just in case some fool was going to try and change her mind. Or didn't change her mind and just did something more foolish than even she was capable of. "Let's go," she said. Her hand fell on the panel of the last door. The systems on the ship were barely functioning, but at least the door slowly managed to open. What happened next really wasn't what The Doctor had expected. Directly outside the door were several people. None of them looked happy. A couple of them were holding flat disk shaped things in a manner someone might hold a heavily dangerous weapon. The Doctor knew the signs. She had the misfortune to be on the other end of people like that a lot. "Uuuuuh," she said. "Hello. Don't suppose you all know where we are?"

Sam | Inside the Lodge | Razzle Dazzle zeph!"Oh," said Sam, understanding a bit better what sort of blinker he was talking to when he talked to Spinel. "Got it." That didn't mean he completely understood. So everything in the House was unusual for her? "What do you have in your world?" he tried instead. It seemed like a safer question to ask to avoid her confusion. And his own. Ougi's reaction to his question about the Lodge was more confusing. Would he be incorrect in assuming that something bad had happened to her? He wasn't sure what that would be. But as he had talked to Spinel she had left for a while, only to return with hot chocolate and invasive questions. He stiffened. Then swallowed. Clearly the changing subject attempt hadn't worked. "Three days," he almost snapped. It was almost a lie. It was closer to four days. But he was hardly going to count the one he had spent huddled on the streets. He glanced away. Why did she insist on pressing the issue? He took several breaths in, calming himself. He was being a bit hard on the odd blinker. It wasn't like he wasn't currently spending time around a person who wasn't really capable of social interactions. "Sorry," he apologized. Only for snapping, however. (I second that! Your avatars are very cute!)

ougi - inside lodge - sam, spinel
Ougi's gaze darkened faintly on Spinel; it was particularly interesting to hear that this blinker knew nothing even of rain. Then again, it could be that these things went by different names in her world. As difficult as it was to get some of Ougi's oddity vocabulary across to Sam, it would be even harder to get Spinel to understand it. She had been taking a sip of hot chocolate when Sam answered her question, and she spat it out in surprise. It was rare enough to see Ougi eat or drink anything, even though she technically didn't digest it. It looked like she might be angry, but instead her eyebrows were raised high. "Owah?!" She made the noise with a smile, mouth open slightly. She barely acknowledged the way he had said it, and was far more focused on what he had said. "Practically nothing..." murmured the student. Then again, she had already wreaked havoc on her first few weeks as an anomaly. How long he had been a vampire wasn't necessarily a gauge of his power, but it meant he had no experience.
