Touka | M&M Room | mintedstar/fur |(this is the shortest thing I've ever written I'm so sorry) Touka shot Shade a furious glare as she failed to pick an option, and then rounded on Myrnin, this time clearly hoping for an ally instead of someone to boss around. "Myrnin, for the love of god," she said, running her hands through her hair. "If these people don't make a decision, I'm going to lose my damn mind. Any ideas? Short of homicide?"

Po | Living Room | Aizawa |
To his surprise, Po was quickly finding that conversations were very difficult when you couldn't tell what the other person was thinking. He wondered how other people did it so easily...usually, he'd use Aizawa's thoughts to give him some kind of lead, or he'd ask a question and listen for the real answer in his head behind whatever spoken answer he gave. But asking questions seemed so...pointless, when he has no way to verify the truth of whatever answer he was given. And it wasn't helping that this man was clearly the opposite of talkative.
"Doors," he repeated, nodding slightly before heading to the door to peer into the hall himself. His eyes widened as he found himself staring down a long, seemingly endless double row of doors...hundreds of them, there must be. It was like an inn, sort of, but by far the most massive one he'd ever encountered.
"What's behind them?" he asked, turning back to glance at Aizawa. "Bedrooms?"

L. | M&M Room | Everyone but mostly IceclawL rubbed at his forehead as though he had a headache, then rubbed his mouth instead, staring at Daud. “But you don’t know what will happen to the person we choose.” He pointed out, glancing at Myrnin and Touka, then Shade. He looked at Touka, leaning in close to stare into her eyes. “I haven’t heard you vote yet.” He pointed out. “Vote first, then complain.” Then he turned around and sighed, giving the ghoul her personal space back. “Obviously, we aren’t getting out of here until we vote. This being the House, we also can’t trust that the evidence hasn’t been tampered with. I won’t vote for someone just to end the room, and I don’t think any of you should either. So, the only option is to either play the House’s game or wait until we blink out.” He tilted his head slightly. “The only problem with the last option is that it’s very unlikely the House will let us do that. Something bad will almost certainly happen. So, everyone needs to consider the evidence and vote with their best guess, and then we’ll deal with whatever happens next. All right?” He pointed. “Daud.” He said simply, and it was clear he wasn’t asking for the assassin’s opinion.

Aizawa | Living Room | Po
Aizawa shrugged. "Anything," he said, just as unhelpfully. The short, blunt unhelpfulness wasn't intentional. Aizawa probably didn't even realize how frustrating it was. Of course, if Po had known about the hallway, then surely he could figure out the rooms as well. Though, he supposed, that would be a very obvious slip up.
Daud | M&M Room | L
Daud's eyes narrowed sharply as L continued. "Outsider's crooked [oops]," he muttered, taking the cigar out of his mouth and snubbing it out on the back of his glove. Striding over to L, he stopped inches from the detective, staring him down. "What do you mean 'I don't know what will happen to the person we choose'? What in the Void is that supposed to mean?" he growled.

Rue | Rock climbing Room | Aizawa Rue let him go first, following close behind with the fear in mind that the door might slam shut between them. “Rock climbing?” She repeated, and then her mouth fell open because the room they’d entered was huge. Pillars and walls covered in little bumps, and suddenly she understood why he had called it what he had, because it looked like it was made to be climbed. “Woah.” She said softly, stepping out from behind Aizawa to look around. “It’s so...big. I wonder what would happen if we tried to climb one?” To answer her own question, she walked over and brushed a pillar with the tips of her fingers. “Do you know how to rock climb?” She asked over her shoulder, glancing back with a small smile at her new friend.

(Oof, this one is rough. Gotta stop trying to make long posts while half asleep pfft.) "Hmph. Suit yourself, then." Sandalphon retracted his arm and narrowed his eyes, his facial features instantly returning to their usual, composed state as all signs of amusement left him. If she wasn't going to take it, he wasn't going to waste his time standing here and bothering her until she conceded, especially if this was all a part of some childish game she was playing. Or so it appeared at first, as the archangel nonchalantly turned away and walked off, his clothing trailing behind him as he went. He had made it a few paces towards the hallway door, when he suddenly came to a stop. "Hmm. You seem quite at ease at the moment. Either you have stronger composure then first appearances might let on, or are my assumptions of this not being the first time you've been brought here correct?" He questioned, not turning around to face the pink being as he spoke. "If it's the latter, then surely you must be aware of the fact that the flow of time back home stops while in this place. And when you do return, it's right back to the exact moment and spot you left, with no one all the wiser that you had even moved in the first place." Unless you were unlucky enough to be sent back unconscious, of course...Shoving the embarrassing memories of his own first blink out of his mind, Sandalphon held the bead just high enough so it was in perfect view over his shoulder, before slowly swaying it back and forth. "And if this indeed is your first visit... Well, now you know." The movement seemed no more then an idle gesture by one lost in thought. That was, until he turned his head and peered back at the gem, a spark of slyness flickering in his red irises and the visible corner of his mouth lifting in a smirk, making it obvious he was trying to goad her into coming to get the bead. He knew exactly what he was doing, both his actions and his choice of words very deliberate. Despite how serious he acted most of the time, the Primarch was not above very occasionally teasing others. This strange blinker's childish behavior had drawn one of these moments out of him, as she reminded him of two of his crewmates that he shared very similar exchanges with. Even so, this was all also one last effort to get her to take the glass container before something ended up happening to it, because he certainly wasn't going to be carrying it around. zeph!

How long had it been since her last blink? She couldn't really remember. All she knew was that she'd really been starting to believe this place had just been a dream. The little girl blinked back into the house after what must have been years. She was taller now, her arms showed a more defined muscle underneath the short sleeves of her black shirt, military grade pants, and boots. Her long black hair had been cut short so that it wouldn't be able to get into her face. Not much had changed about the girl, but those who had known the adult version of the blinker would start to see the signs of the Shilo they had known before. The darting eyes, scanning every corner of the room before she would relax, the straight but tense posture like she was always waiting for someone to get too close. Her wide, innocent eyes had hardened into teal stones. "Back again?" The nine year old muttered aloud, scanning the room for who was around.
_________________________________________ ~Shilo Saga~ Location: The Living Room (?) Interactions:N/A Mentions:N/A "No, Maya-," Riley blinked his eyes at the sudden shift from the bright suns of his world to the dimmer lights of the House. He felt his heart both sink into his stomach and raise into his throat all at once. He'd found them, the letters from King Vipatti or Rae. He'd read them, despite the fact that he probably shouldn't have. Was he really just going to hand them over? The girl seemed nice. Would she even understand them? How much of his world had King Vipatti even told the young woman. Riley steadied his mind, tightening his sleeveless jacket around himself. It was cold here and none of his clothes ever made up for that. Of course, it didn't help that he was forced to be shirtless, aside from the jacket, while in the palace. He only got the jacket because of Maya. Everyone else seemed to get nice, or at least seemingly warm, clothes from their worlds. The young man tried not to seem too bitter about it.

Mallory || Living Room || dawn Mallory sat at a desk, fiddling around with a pencil in her left hand. How I wish to go to the beach someday, she thought to herself. She'd been working on a test in pre-algebra and finished early, so she had taken the opportunity to let her mind wander. Suddenly, she found herself sitting on a soft surface instead of the plastic chair that she'd been seated in moments before. Her right arm, which had been rested on the desk, now hung in midair. "Oh!" she exclaimed in surprise, dropping the pencil on the floor. The preteen saw that she looked to be in an old house of sorts. Not only that, but she wasn't alone. There was a woman with purple hair in the room. Her outfit reminded Mallory of something that someone would wear on Halloween. This is very odd, she noted to herself. Mallory wondered what was the best thing to do. Was this a dream? She certainly didn't think the math test had been a dream. And there was no logical explanation to how she could've suddenly bee transported from school to some weird house in who-knows-where within a minute. After a couple moments of thinking, she settled on talking to the odd woman. Mallory had never been fond of talking to strangers, especially adults. However, she was the only other person in the room. She was the best chance at finding an answer, especially since she appeared just as strange as the entire house situation. "Uh, hey," the preteen greeted awkwardly, standing up and raising her hand in a gesture that was supposed to mimic a wave. "Where am I? Do you happen to know what this place is?"

(Timewarped) Mallory || Another Living Room || Nightwisher Mallory had been walking in the woods. She hummed a merry tune as she glanced up at the clear-blue sky. She jumped a little in surprise when the sights above her suddenly shifted into the ceiling of the living room. "This again," she mumbled quietly to herself. Here she was again, in 'The Paradox House', as others called it. Excitement began to build within her almost instantly. The whole idea of the place actually seemed really neat - a strange house in another dimension filled with mysterious rooms and beings from all over the multiverse. Just what will I explore today? she wondered. Without thinking about it, she'd begun to walk towards the hallway door. Suddenly, she heard a voice from behind her. Mallory quickly spun around to see if someone was there. Her excitement morphed into surprise as she looked at the other blinker. She was a girl who looked to be a couple years younger than Mallory herself. However, she appeared much more muscular than the average child and she was wearing clothing that reminded the preteen of soldiers. Not only that, but she looked strong enough to be one. Mallory simply stood in silence, unsure of what to say. Who and what exactly was this kid? This place is weirder than I ever could've imagined, she noted to herself.

Nebula Star | Sησω | Living RoomAs she straightened up to scan the room, Neb paused when saw the younger girl blinked in mid-something. She'd been about to offer a small greeting when she noticed the girl's demeanor. Ah. As she was in her full hero attire, Neb hoped it wouldn't intimidate this new girl, and she did her best to relax her posture.
"Hey there," she started with a nod, "this is a place called the Paradox House. It's a...different world from your own, but you'll be back home before long. Oh, and I'm Nebula Star." She waved a hand as she introduced herself. Rae | Nightwisher | Living Room (i guess?)Rae stumbled into the House rather haphazardly, her outer layers barely thrown on with a scarf not even properly fit around her neck and one boot barely on. "--late!" she'd been exclaiming, sounding breathless.
In an attempt to keep on the move, Rae hopped forward while thumping the loose part of her boot against the floor to get her foot in. And all in this, she looked up with enough time to spot the familiar Riley to the side before she rammed herself chest first into the back of the couch. She clutched the top tightly before she could slip and fought to not groan aloud, pressing her face into the fabric in the process.

She snorted softly at the pirates comment, peeking the open the eye he wasn't currently working on and smirking at him, then closing it again. The mystified tone of Morrigans voice made Shade smile, sure her expression matched and delighted at the thought. At the mention of Sherlock her ears flicked up and she had to resist opening her eyes, for Hooks sake. "Oh! I've encountered Sherlock once, I believe. Hes very interesting to talk to, blew my mind after five minutes," she said, laughing softly, "Tell him I said 'hi' if you happen to see him again." Moments later she laughed again, finding her make up artists statement all too true. "Oh yes. I think this one might have encountered a few more than I have. Lots of adventures, too many to bother with." While a smile maintained itself over her features, she did sigh softly. Silly bastard. How many times had he died? Heaven knows. As severe as it was, she found it to be oddly endearing. Despite his willingness to change his approach in the house, she was sure he would always be the same reckless, charmingly charismatic, and horrifically unlucky pirate she'd grown so fond of. "Oh! I do remember a few other interesting ones. I met this really interesting fellow, a vampire I think. Don't get to see him too often, but hes very delightful to chat with. Hes got a ponytail, and usually wears some shade of green from what I can remember. Another... Their name was Rutile, but I can't remember much about them... Also a fabulous conversationalist, and prettier than glass. It was super cool. There was this.. hm.. It was like a giant stuffed bear, but it was tragically murderous. Gave us some trouble a couple times. There was also a blue talking horse, and I remember... Well, I can't remember his name but there was this young fellow dressed like a noble knight. He was very fancy with most of the folks here, extremely amusing to watch. I don't know if he comes around anymore. Most people I didn't talk with personally, but I saw them around, exchanged words a few times. I can recall this shorter lady with wild red hair, hair so long that it went down to the floor and dragged behind her like a cape, and another much taller woman with dark hair, some sort of assassin I think. She was highly intelligent, but I'm not sure what happened to her either. The house I imagine finally let her live her life and let her leave, as uncommon as that seems. Oh! There were these two gentlemen that always dressed smart, both were French I think, and one of them was blond and I believe he was friends with the shorter red haired lady. The other was very welcoming to talk to, but still very cool headed... A revolutionist, from what little I gathered ... Although, thats not a lot to go off of, I suppose," she laughed lightly, mildly embarrassed by her inability to make people very distinct. Mallory || Living Room || dawn Mallory widened her eyes in interest. "So it's like an alternate dimension?" she wondered aloud. The concept was rather intriguing, and she hoped that what the stranger said was true. Though most of her daydreams were about traveling, she sometimes thought about alternate realities and other fantastical places. She'd never once thought that similar things were real! That did leave one question, however. If she was in a different reality, she was farther away from home than she had ever been. When would she return, and how would she return? "And also, how do we return home?" she asked. The preteen the realized that she'd forgotten to introduce herself. "My name is Mallory, by the way. It's nice to meet you."

Sησω | Living Room"Yep, pretty much," Neb confirmed. She smiled a bit, her fangs peaking through, and carefully offered a hand if Mallory wanted to shake it. "Nice to meet you too." And of course, the most important question came to be. She was still a little rusty on the whole House introductions bit, but at least this was the simplest she always remembered. "So you know how you just appeared in the blink of an eye? That'll happened again, and you'll be right back to where you were before you came here. No time will have passed either, so no one will even know you were gone anywhere." Shilo's gaze landed on the older child and she quirked an eyebrow for a moment, crossing her arms over her chest. "Can I help you with something or are you just going to gawk?" The nine year old asked. Since her last blink, she'd been more or less completely isolated on the mountain, other than her father, so her social etiquette was sorely lacking. Teal eyes shot to Neb for a moment. The girl that Shilo had hugged before, the one who had known the adult version. Her gaze fell to the ground, her arms dropping to her side as she tried to remember her manners, not wanting to annoy or get on her old friend's bad side.

Myrnin | M & M Room | @ everyone?
Myrnin blinked at Touka as she pleaded to him. He truly didn't know how to answer her, but he seemed to want to. He looked a bit like a puppy had kicked him and that he wasn't sure what he had done wrong. "Well, if homicide is out ..." he said, a wane attempt at a joke in his voice as if he wasn't actually sure what he could say. Then he looked at Touka's eyes, at her frustration, and then around at the others. At least L had voiced an opinion by now. "I could read everyone's minds." The offer seemed so flippant and like there was nothing more simple. "Apart from the Pink Elastic Girl. She doesn't look organic enough to have a mind." That might have sounded like an insult ...

That's pretty awesome, Mallory thought to herself, stepping forward to shake the purple-haired woman's hand. As she got a closer look at her, she noticed that her ears were pointed like an elf's. She wondered for a moment if they were fake like a Halloween costume or if they were real, but they certainly looked authentic. She was ready to believe that Neb's ears were truly like that, especially considering all the other weird things she'd encountered over the past few minutes. "Neat," the preteen commented, a small smile forming on her face. Her attention turned back towards the other child as she spoke. "Sorry, you just surprised me," she said. Just then, another revelation came to her. The other blinkers probably didn't come from the same reality as her, which would explain their odd clothing. "People dress differently where I'm from," she added. The statement was directed at both Neb and Shilo.

Hook | Make-up Room | Shadepelt15Hook glanced sideways as he noticed Shade looking at him with her other eyes, scowling a little before smirking again and focusing on his work. He made a face when she mentioned Sherlock, not that he really knew the man but he sounded annoying. He chuckled softly as she started to describe his troublesome escapades, gathering more of his current color of choice and then proceeding with his work. “You talkin’ about Myrnin?” He snapped when she started to describe the vampire. “The hell could you like about that bastard?” He didn’t seem aggressive or particularly aggravated...more like he was genuinely confused by the statement she’d just made. “Rutile was...alright.” He huffed as she went on, rolling his eyes a little. “The thing that broke my damn ankle?” He piped up again as she mentioned the animatronic bear, grinning at the memory. He made another face; “Ugh Luna? I didn’t know horses could be such bitches...” he scoffed again when the knight was mentioned; “Inigo was a prick.” He said simply. “Goes by Laslow now, by the way, still a pain in the ass.” He smiled to himself as she continued, nodding slightly. “Kaia is... gone. Last I heard. Shilo is some brat now. As in...she’s like twelve. Just when i was sure she was outta here too. I’m sure wherever she wound up she’s pissed about that.” He grinned as Enjolras and Combeferre were brought up, straightening a little. “Enjolras finally grew a pair, imagine that.” He chuckled. “I...uh...pissed him off...but it was about time he mustered somethin’ up. I should...talk to him though.” He added sheepishly...for Shade’s sake. “The other bloke...I don’t think he’s...blinking in anymore either.” He watched Shades face, hesitating with his brush if she wanted to open her eyes. It was strange to acknowledge that some of those blinkers were gone...even if he’d never liked them. Shade always had, after all. “Jeez, we need to work on your people skills, Shade. First Rex, now Myrnin, you’re going to be buddies with Flan next at this rate.”

Rae | Nightwisher | Living RoomIf it weren't for her face being hidden, Rae would be more embarrassed as she felt the blush spread. Though her ears were starting to gain color too. "I-I'm fine!" She sucked in a hard breath and coughed once before releasing it slowly. Not the worst she'd ever done, but this was still unfortunate.
She peeked out at Riley when he came over, her body automatically shifting away out of reflex. "Sorry, that was..." she trailed a bit, still trying to keep her face covered until she could compose herself. "I usually try to be more careful than that." Rae forced a laugh, because if she couldn't laugh at herself she'd get too caught up in her embarrassment. It then sort of registered what Riley was probably holding, and, though still pressed into the couch, she lifted her head a bit more. "Oh. Are those...?" He never said anything as attention was stolen from him, the room being thrust into a scramble for the spotlight while he stepped back a few paces, watching each speaker with a lifted eyebrow. Soon he backtracked and fell next to Shade, side eyeing her with a grin. “Do you know what I was looking at earlier?” He asked casually, quiet enough to not interrupt whoever might’ve been speaking at the time, but by no means whispering. “Or, perhaps, what I found?” He reached out, palm up. The grin on Shades face grew progressively broader, and without opening her eyes she let them roll. "Myrnin is very nice and one of the better people I've met here! A bit odd from time to time, but so is everyone," she defended, her voice light and betraying her smile further. It was somehow endearing that Hook disliked everyone so dramatically. Imagine that. It just sort of solidified that he was him, and despite all of the bad experiences he was actually trying to approach people a bit more... casually. Hopefully, with less aggression. "Yes, the ankle breaker was pretty shitty. Couldn't figure that one out..." She nodded along slightly to his responses to the other blinkers, bring her hand up to cough into and hide a laugh when he very directly insulted Inigo, and then again when he spoke of Enjolras and Combeferre. "Sounds like there's a few folks you should talk to. But hey, good for him," she said. She did open her eyes then, giving him an inquiring smirk when he pointed out she needed to work on her people skills. "Oh really? Rex and Myrnin are perfectly fine men, and I think you'd quite like them if you lot could get on the same page," she said, her tone 'seriously serious', but still coming from smiling lips. The bit about Flan made her nose scrunch up and she pursed her lips. "Absolutely not. Pass." Her eyes squinted briefly, then she closed them and tilted her head up properly again for him to continue working on her face again. "Some children I just don't click with. Also, after that time I had to save you from weird flying stars, I think I'm good to avoid most of them most of the time."

Shilo just gave a nod in response to the girl. She'd probably be surprised too if she saw someone younger than her in the House. "It's good to see you too, Neb. Been a while on my side." The girl seemed uncomfortable with that fact. Probably because the Hero new more about what the assassin trainee's future held than she, herself, did. With things becoming more pressing, especially as her tenth birthday approached, Shilo was growing a bit nervous about it all. Medical training was starting, she knew it from the books Borys had her read. But how was she going to train for that? These weren't questions the child could pose to the other's in the House, however, and so she kept the bottled up.
"People dress differently from me too," she pointed out, deciding to continue on with the conversation. "But, you get pretty used to the different outfits and shit -- stuff," she quickly corrected, her eyes going to Neb for a moment, almost as if she expected some kind of punishment. This was also seen in how she straightened up a bit, puffed her chest out as if she was preparing herself to be knocked back.
_________________________________________ ~Shilo Saga~ Location: The Living Room Interactions: Mallory (Sησω ) and Nebula Star (dawn ) Mentions: N/A "Good," Riley relaxed at the update. It hadn't looked like a terribly painful hit, but one never really could tell. The man took a step back when Rae flinched, dropping his head in a quick apology and almost like he expected her to lash back at him. "I apologize, Miss" he murmured, quickly, out of reflex. He closed his eyes, knowing how that must have looked from the outside looking in.
Rae knew he was a servant. What the detailed, she did not know. Despite being friends with their new Queen, that did not mean that he was outside of the realm of punishment from other Royals he may have to serve. But there was more to that story, and maybe it would be told one day but today was not about Riley's story, it was about someone else's. The man turned his gaze on the letters in his hand and hesitated before he gave a nod and reached them out to the young woman. "Yes, they're the letters from King Vipatti." His hesitancy was clear in his voice as well, and his eyes as he carefully watched her body language when she eventually reached for them.
My dearest, Rae,
I’m still searching for you. I promised that I would never give up, and I intend to keep that promise. Every day I think back to that room, with the escalator and the bagels. I always knew the House was strange, and resulted in impossible memories, and holding you on a moving staircase as food fell from the ceiling is definitely one of the strangest I think anyone could ever imagine. It’s probably strange that that is one of my favorites. But holding you, despite every odd thing that was happening...If I could only face those oddities again if it meant holding you, at least once more. I miss the sound of your voice. The determined look you had that I wouldn’t become the person I fear I will. I hold onto that belief so tightly. I will see you soon, Rae, I will.
My dearest, Rae,
Mom is sick. She doesn’t have the strength to keep sending me to different dimensions, but I’m so desperate to see you. And I hate to sound so selfish, but I’m desperate to leave here. I feel my mind getting progressively darker. When I heard about mom, my first thought was “how dare she get sick when I haven’t found Rae yet.” Every day I grow further from the boy that I was in the House, from the young man that you fell in love with. I want to see you again before he is completely gone. But with mother’s condition, I’m starting to lose hope. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll be able to find the House again. I don’t know if you’ve ever blinked back, but it’s the only thing I can think of now. Until then, I’m going to try to hold on to the person you knew.
My dearest, Rae,
Mom died today, and with her, so did any hope of seeing you again. I cannot tell you how many different dimensions and world’s I have been to. I searched for you everywhere that I could. I couldn’t find a single version of you, let alone my version of you. I hope that you will someday find out how hard I tried. A part of me hopes you’re happy, moved on, but I only wish I could keep trying. Or that you could. It’s so damn unfair that I have to travel through dimension after dimension searching for you while you’re probably moved on and couldn’t care less about me anymore. There were moments where I thought I was the selfish one, searching for you despite where your life may be now, wanting nothing more than to get away and escape my fate. It’s becoming increasingly clear that I was the one who cared, while you did nothing to find me.
My dearest, Rae,
I apologize for the tone of my last letter. I don’t want to come up with an excuse, you don’t deserve to be talked to that way, or thought of that way, no matter what’s happening to me. I’m sorry to say that it is actually starting. It’s like there’s a pressure on my head from Vipatti, and I can hear the voices of her siblings now. I used to be able to keep it to secret thoughts, but I’ve said cruel things to everyone around me, and now I’ve even written them to you. Agni and I fought...Jeevika and three guards had to pull me off of him. I’m a far cry from the little boy you met, the man you fell in love with. I’m losing myself, Rae. I can’t tell you how much I wish you were here to help me find the person I used to be.
My dearest, Rae,
I was crowned King today. The ceremony was just as it should have been, grand. It seems people think I’m going to be a great leader. I only wish I believed it too. Vipatti and Dinasadhakah believe that as well. It used to sound like madness, the sick boy creating a better kingdom for all. Now, I only hope it’s true.
My dearest, Rae,
I’m sorry I haven’t written to you in so long. I’ve been busy trying run the kingdom and keep my head on straight. It’s more taxing than I ever thought it could have been. I never realized how many important traditions had gone to the wayside due to past rulers neglect. For one, the marking of the Harijan has been all but ignored. So, I had to reinstate that. And then, I found that the Cusana had been practicing in their cult. Dangerous beasts. I called for the executions but they fled. I was only able to rid my kingdom of a few of them. Though I much prefer them eliminated, at least I won’t have to worry about them hurting anyone else if they keep to the outskirts. Nonetheless, I will have to send out search parties to kill the last of them. It probably sounds like a horrible thing to do, but the Cusana are life suckers, and Vipatti and Dinasadhakah have instructed me that it’s for the best. A few lives to save the many, and to save my own. Due to my illness as a child, it has become clear that many of my subjects actually think I’m weak. If this idea became more widespread, the Cusana would not hesitate to use their powers to kill me and take my throne for their own. It’s for the best. The gods told me it was.
My dearest, Rae,
It’s been nearly ten seasons since I last wrote you. This morning I had a meeting with the gods. Vipatti and her siblings, Durbhiksa, Tiksna, and Yuddha. I heard once in my travels that they were considered the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in some worlds. Why, I’ll never know. They’re such wise advisors. I have made deals with all of them. Each god will get a corner of my kingdom, dividing it into four states. They will be able to rule over their corner without any interference from the other gods or royals, and in return, they have devoted themselves to me. I am the first king to be supported by more than two gods. I now have five at my will, including my first name sake, Dinasadhaka, I will be recorded as the greatest and most powerful king Vasundharā has ever seen. My only regret now is never finding you so I could have taken you back here to be my Queen. You would have made such a beautiful Queen.
My dearest, Rae,
I can’t remember how long it’s been since I wrote to you last. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been busy or just hadn’t had anything to say. But you’ve been on my mind lately. The sound of your laugh, like bells. I miss it. Rebellions have started. The population of Vasundharā has nearly halved since my start in rule. Still, I don’t consider that a particularly bad thing. Our food supplies have been so low as of late, with less mouths to feed those who are still alive are most likely to keep living. The illnesses that have plagued us have started to lessen as well within recent years, so why the rebellions are starting now I can’t say. Though, I guess it could be part of Yuddha’s offering to me. The God of War doesn’t quite understand how to give gifts. Nonetheless, the rabble are weak, I will most likely be able to face them alone. My powers have gotten stronger since you knew me. Back when I had to focus so hard to create a single seed, and now I can create a forest at the snap of my fingers. My god has said it’s because I gain power from the lives that have been lost while I’ve been King. A fair trade I think, their useless lives to power me. I’ve always preferred plants and animals to the Busa. I wish I could show you the gardens that I have created. I have a completely pink and red garden, all for you. Not that you deserve it, by any means, having abandoned me to rule Vasundharā alone. Oh, but I would forgive you if I could just see your face once more.

Touka | M&M room | mintedstar/fur |Touka did a double take at Myrnin's words, and when her eyes met his, they looked hopeful, but only for a moment. Soon enough, a shadow passed over her face - a deep, tired shadow, and she looked away, gaze angled now at the ground instead of at her friend. "No, don't," she said quietly. "Really. I'll find us another way out of here if I have to break a hole in the wall myself."

Po | Hallway | Aizawa
This time, when Po's eyes met Aizawa's, the irritation on the boy's face wasn't difficult to see. He knew he shouldn't snap at him - after all, he seemed to be just another bystander in this - but he couldn't seem to rein in his temper when the man was still pouring white noise directly into his temples every second they shared a room. And he really wasn't helping.
"You're not feeling very helpful, are you?" he asked, the contempt in his voice toned down considerably as he'd learned through years of being a prince. You couldn't say everything that was on your mind, or you'd wind up without a head one day. "Or do you just not know what's behind the doors at all?"

Hook | Make-up Room | Shadepelt15 Hook snorted. “Odd?” He echoed. “More like a menace.” He was grinning despite his words, rolling eyes slightly at the idea of Myrnin being anything besides the obnoxious shit starter that he was. The pirate smirked as Shade carried on his discussion, nodding in agreement. “The bear was strange...” he agreed. He cocked his head in a weak shrug at her suggestion, sort of like he was cringing at the thought. “Yeah, that hasn’t been going the best. I’ve been...working on it though. I think he might be particularly bitter with how that room ended. His fault for thinking he could plant one on a pirate and I’d just leave that shit be.” He chuckled. When she opened her eyes and spoke again he dropped his hand from her face, scowling. “Like hell,” he grumbled, but struggled to keep a serious expression for long, especially when she dissed on Flan. He chuckled, leaning back a bit with a grin. “Damn right. The kids in this place are devils,” he said, pointing the brush at her. “You and me might be the only ones sane enough to realize it.” He chuckled, spinning the brush around in his hands, sparkles of shadow falling from the bristles. “Who else have you been gettin’ the wrong impression from while I was gone?”

It was pretty clear that they'd both run into topics that they both really didn't want to talk about. Kid supposed that was partly his fault. He had let his curiosity get away from him. And he was curious. But he wanted to go gently with this. He didn't want to make an enemy of Rue. He wanted to be something else. He wouldn't mind being a friend ... Instead, he said, "I see. Well ..." And then he held out his hand, as if offering to lead her somewhere. "Never say never. What do you say? Want to go into a room and see if the House wants to favor us with an orchard room?" His smile was as kind as he could make it. He didn't know the situation - why Rue couldn't do what she clearly missed - but then again he had lost the ability to do something too. He'd only recently learned how to get it back. If he could give Rue a bit of her spirit back, then that was exactly what he wanted to do. Anyway .... this way she didn't have to feel cornered with his questions. Rue blinked and looked up, meeting his kind eyes with her dark, surprised ones. He wasn’t going to force her into anything, was he? That was...not what she’d expected from him, if she was being honest. She’’d thought once he found something she didn’t want to talk about, he’d be all over it She smiled shyly back and accepted his hand. Trusting him, which meant a lot more to her than it did for most kids her age. “Okay.” She agreed, and her smile deepened as she began to really believe he wasn’t going to bring up bad memories. On purpose. Because who knew what the House might do. But a room was a much better idea than sitting around here talking about things they’d really rather never think about again. With Rue's hand in his, Kid led her toward the hallway. It seemed like she was excited, which he was glad about. He knew that she had been very hesitant before, particularly when he had just blinked in. It meant a lot to him to have her on his side. "I haven't gone into a room in a while," he admitted, remembering the monster room where he had been a mummy. He wasn't sure how many rooms Rue had actually been in before. He didn't ask just yet. The rooms behind the doors were ... everything. Everything he could think of. It was an amazing feat. But there was a lot of memories behind them which he couldn't know about. Couldn't think about them because what they meant. So he didn't think about them, he just pressed a hand onto a door handle and pushed the door open. He would have let Rue do it, but he was too distracted. "Door number one," he muttered, then stepped through. Behind the door was a complete whiteness, so pure and blinding that Kid had to blink several times, flinching. His eyes expanded for a second, as if remembering a bad memory, before they became normal sized again. The room wasn't completely white. There were two spots of color in the room. On the floor - if any of this could be called a floor when there didn't seem to be any sort of line or horizon or any point of reference - were two crayons. One blue, one orange. "This ..." said Kid. "Feels very weird." The words were breathed. "Any suggestions?" Other than the obvious, perhaps.

Shade | M&M Room | ~∂єѕтιиу tbhWhen Vincent addressed her rather out of nowhere, it took Shade a moment to respond; staring at his open hand and pulling her eyebrows together as she stared at him. Slowly, she reached out and set her left forearm into his grip and almost smirked. "Yes, I do. In both instances, I hope," she responded. One ear was still angled back towards Enjolras, but for the moment the crazy blond man had her attention almost fully. "Why? Were you looking to divulge anything else?" she asked.

Vincent | M&M room | Shadepelt15 Vincent smirked, staring back at her until she took up on his offer. He took her hand gently this time, not seizing ahold of her as he had last time. He lifted her knuckles up, gazing down at them. He smiled at her answer, then looked up at her question. “Should there be more?” He asked, letting the hand go. “Do you happen to box? Or is it..something more intense?” He smirked, tilting his head as he examined the scars that ran up the sides of her face.
