Thistletail pressed closer to her, urging. "You can do this. You'll be just fine." He promised.
Lilybreeze scampered after him, blue eyes training on Mysticglow's strikingly colored eyes. Lilybreeze thought her and Blazeshade had the most stunning eyes.

Featherflight nodded, trying to channel her breathing to be steady and efficient.
Blazeshade purred as he neared Mysticglow. "Mother?" He asked, almost timidly.

Whitepool mewed lightly to Featherflight. "Did Wrenlight tell you how many kits you're suspected to have?"
Mysticglow started purring loudly as she heard her son, looking at Lilybreeze before nodding. "I have an idea of what you want to tell me dear...I can already feel the joy of our ancestors. A good match, good match." She cheered.
Lilybreeze felt warm with gratitude and shyness.

Featherflight nodded. "Only a few, two, maybe three." The black and white she-cat rasped, breathing somewhat shakily.
Blazeshade purred, nuzzling his new mate fondly. "Thank you, Mother. And ancestors." He twirled his tail around Lilybreeze's, blue and amber eyes happy.

"Yup. I was told the same." Whitepool snickered with humor. "Turns out Crowpaw was just rather large and he made it feel like 3 kits at the time." She laughed, before she hummed. "Feeling a contraction soon?"
Lilybreeze gave a soft laughter, only to perk up as Adderstrike approached. "Did I hear right? You two are together?" He looked at Blazeshade and his sister with questioning eyes.

Wrenlight urged her body forward, doing her best to make her strides longer. "Sorry," she puffed, "I just feel like we need to rush!"
When they reached camp Wrenlight suspected her legs would give out beneath her. They wobbled, and her paws were frozen. She plopped down and sat there panting looking around at the camp, which looked mostly like they had left it. But everyone was in a bit of a rush.

"Wrenlight! Thank Starclan! I know you must be exhausted, but Featherflight's having her kits!" Pinefoot skidded up to the medicine cat, his eyes wide with relief.

Wildstar looked at Pinefoot with wide eyes. "A new leader and new kits in one night? StarClan surely shines brighter upon us now than ever!" The young ginger tom panted excitedly, bright green eyes dazzling. His sides heaved slightly as he shook the fine white powder from his spiky pelt, and he padded off with Pinefoot. "How'd Owlshadow taking to her new rank?" He questioned quietly, though his eyes could not contain his joy.
Featherflight nodded, then groaned as she pushed along with the first, weak contraction. "Thistletail... Could you bring me some water? Please?" The queen asked, panting with fatigue as she looked up at her brother.
Blazeshade nodded, brushing pelts with Lilybreeze. "We are, yes." He confirmed proudly to Adderstrike.

Pinefoot gave a nod of agreement, before sheer pride filled him. "Oh, she's already fitting the role greatly. She's starting patrols once the sun rises." He mewed with delight.
Thistletail nodded to his sister, pulling himself up to run and fetch some water and moss.
Adderstrike gave Blazeshade a long look, but soon relaxed when he saw how happy his little sister was. He mewed. "Well, if you are happy, then I am happy. But treat her right, Blazeshade, or I'll tear your nose off." He warned, before giving a light smile.
"Auntie's in looooove." Heatherpaw scampered up and sang with a smile as he butted his head against his father's shoulder in greeting. Adderstrike gave an 'oomph' before grinning proudly and grooming between his son's ears.

Wildstar chuckled. "I knew she would." The ginger half-tabby tom glanced over at the nursery. "I know she hasn't had an apprentice yet, but StarClan willing she'll mentor one of Featherflight's." He said in a hushed whisper, swishing his fluffy brown and ginger tail.
Blazeshade mrrowed with laughter. "Me? Hurt Lilybreeze? I'd tear my own nose off for something so stupid." He acknowledged, nosing his mate's cheek lovingly.
Littlepaw bounded up after her brother. "Wait for meeee!" She exclaimed, pouncing on her father and scrabbling with her paws to try and climb atop Adderstrike's head.

"We all guessed that much. I'm sure Swansong is complaining in her head, but even she can't deny that Owlshadow knows responsibility. She gets it from her mother I think." Pinefoot laughed quietly, rolling his eyes.
Lilybreeze purred gently at her mate's affections, twining her tail with his as she nodded to her neice and nephew. "Yes, I suppose I am."
Adderstrike gave a playful growl as he let his daughter clamber on him. He was rather large, and she rather small, so he could support her. He nuzzled his kits' heads before mewing deeply. "You two done with training for the day?"

Wildstar rolled his bright green eyes as well. "Not like it hasn't been done before. She'll get her apprentice soon enough." He commented, chuckling at Pinefoot's snarky comment.
Blazeshade purred lovingly, his blue and amber eyes both bright with love.
Littlepaw nodded. "Yes papa! We went on a patrol, and found moss for the nests!" She exclaimed proudly, puffing up her small, fluffy chest.

"Thank you though. For having faith in her like this. Owlshadow is a dedicated cat, as is her brother. Dawnfire and I...we really appreciate it." Pinefoot mewed with respect in his voice.
"That's my kits. Even collecting moss is an important job. The stone floors can get rather rough." Adderstrike praised, as Heatherpaw added in. "We also hunted. I only caught one mouse though, but I'll do much better next time!"

Wildstar grinned, dipping his head. "She deserves the chance. Owlshadow has plenty of qualities that make her a good example to both older and younger cats, and a strong influence. Hopefully, SnowClan will continue to grow strong with her as my deputy."
Littlepaw purred, rubbing her cheek on her father's ear. "Better than I did, I only got a shrew." She scolded her brother, sticking her little pink tongue out at him.

Pinefoot gave a rusty purr, the dark tom shaking his fur and mewing. "I know it will be so. I never doubted you. Something about you made you trustworthy from the start." He shrugged.
Heatherpaw argued. "Nonsense little sister! Shrews totally taste better than mice! I think your catch was great."
Adderstrike laughed heavily at his kits' antics.

Wrenlight gasped, and jumped to her paws, and though weary, she dashed to her den. "Uh huh, where is it, where is it!" She tried to dig around in a controlled damaging manner, "Yes this is it!" She gathered up the herbs and a decent sized stick in her jaws and scurried to the nursery. "Featherflight! I'm sorry!" She gasped after she dropped her things, "You seem like you're doing pretty well!" Wrenlight nudged the herbs toward the she-cat. And the stick followed. "Take these, it'll help, and when you need to bite on this stick, hard."

Wildstar chuckled with a little flush. "Thank you, Pinefoot. It means a lot coming from the son of Hawkstar."
Featherflight gladly consumed the herbs, and pawed the stick towards her face. "Wrenlight! Thank StarClan you came. Whitepool did a marvelous job with instructions, but she's no medicine cat." The black and white she-cat purred, before hurriedly biting down on the stick as she had to push once more.
Littlepaw flattened her ears, half-heartedly swiping at Heatherpaw from where she sat atop her father with sheathed claws. "I happen to like mice better than shrews." She declared, almost snootily.

(pssst. Pine's not his son, but Dawn is his daughter ^^' )
Pinefoot chuckled. "Son-in-law. I'd say Dawnfire's approval stands to mean more than mine...not much of a legacy left on my side." He mewed tightly at the last words, remembering being alone while Nightflame, Echoshine and Nettlekit seemed to be crushed by the caves.
Heatherpaw swatted back at her, giving a huff of laughter. "Well, I like Shrew more." He announced.
"This is the argument this time?" Adderstrike laughed loudly.

(CRAP YOU RIGHT WHOOPS)
Wildstar scoffed. "Nightflame was a brilliant cat as well, the apprentice of my great-grandfather. And so what if you're only Hawkstar's kin through Dawnfire? I bet he thought of you as his son, especially after Rustlefoot's passing." The young leader reasoned kindly.
Littlepaw snorted. "You know it's always something! He never lets me just be right." The small she-kit protested, once more sticking her tongue out at her larger brother.

"I...suppose." Pinefoot conceded after a moment of thought, remembering the day he grew taller than his own leader, yet wanting to be as collected and wise as him. He purred as he thought of his mate.
Heatherpaw scoffed. "I let you be right sometimes! Just not this time, because I'm right this time." He stuck his own tounge at her.
Adderstrike smirked. "Clearly the best prey is squirrel."

"You and Dawnfire seem to have a great relationship." Wildstar commented, not shyly in the slightest. "You must really love each other." He theorized, swishing his tail. The new leader absentmindedly surveyed the camp, looking around for anything that could possibly need fixing.
Littlepaw scoffed, looking down at her father from where she sat on her head. "Unless you mean red squirrels, you're batbrained!" She exclaimed, pawing at Adderstrike's eyebrow whiskers.

Pinefoot puffed proudly. "She's one of a kind. Makes all the loneliness go away, and I like to think I make her life more fun." He admitted.
Adderstrike winked at his daughter, shaking his head at her pawing as he snorted. "Of course I mean red squirrels, furball." He teased, pawing at Heatherpaw, who was bowled over with a squeal of laughter.

Wildstar chuckled. "That sounds like an adventure." He couldn't help but think of his lack of a mate for a second, before brushing it off. He was young and had more responsibilities to worry about than a single she-cat.
Littlepaw giggled. "Good!" She squeaked, and in exchange for his whiskers started messing with Adderstrike's ears. "I like red squirrels, too. I heard Blazeshade found a nest earlier!"

"It was something I needed." Pinefoot admitted with gentle honesty. After his family was gone, he had suffered intense lonliness. But Dawnfire had been a light he needed. He purred. "Emberstorm is convinced that you'll be the leader who'll let him climb up the highest mountain. Of course I'd sit on him if he tried."
Lilybreeze purred. "I was real impressed. Red squirrel seems to always evade my claws." She pressed to her mate proudly.
Adderstrike puffed. "Well, I could catch a nest too." He grumbled, but soon smirked at his sister and Blazeshade.

"I think before anyone else tries climbing the highest mountain I'll do it. I have the lives to spare." Wildstar chuckled, amusement in his bright green eyes.
Blazeshade scoffed, brushing away the notion with a wave of his tail. "I left it be. Had a bunch of babies. It's better to let them grow and in turn have more." He meowed wisely.
Littlepaw looked down at her father. "Is that right, Papa?" She questioned.

Pinefoot laughed. "Well, invite me and my son. We both would love the adventure." Pinefoot winked.
Adderstrike nodded. "That is true. Sometimes it must be left alone if there are babies. Just means prey later. I know I'm never the best, but Violetdawn can show us up with how well she can fish."

"And Owlshadow." Wildstar chuckled, green eyes twinkling.
Blazeshade nosed Lilybreeze's cheek at the mention of water. "I suck at fishing." He muttered.
Littlepaw nodded, sliding down her father's back and onto the ground. "Makes sense." She mewed, nodding professionally.

"And Dawnfire. A family trip." Pinefoot gave a grin of humor.
"I love fishing." Lilybreeze laughed gently at Blazeshade, purring. "I'll just have to hunt for you."
Adderstrike chuckled at his tiny daughter's mature voice, as Heatherpaw asked suddenly. "How come you guys won't let me go down those tunnels yet?" He pouted, glancing towards the tunnel that led to the Ruins.

"Sounds like an adventure indeed." Wildstar chuckled, swishing his fluffy tabby-striped tail.
Blazeshade had warmed at his mate's comment, but stiffened at Heatherpaw's. "Those tunnels are forbidden." He warned, a grim tone to his meow.

"Hmph. Why?" Heatherpaw asked with a pout.
Adderstrike mewed sternly. "Down those tunnels is a dangerous area. You could get hurt or lost. Wait a few moons, and do not dare go down there."
Heatherpaw sighed in defeat. "Alright, alright."
Lilybreeze gazed quietly at the tunnel. Her parents had always gone down there to see if they could hear their lost kin...
