In all honesty, Thane had no idea how he was still functioning relatively well – and how he’d managed to continue to slide under the radar in terms of not being discovered by Sterling. He’d neglected taking a substantial amount of blood – he’d taken enough blood to survive from Sterling, and that was it. As it was, he’d gone almost two weeks without any sustenance, and he was beginning to feel the effects. It would take a lot longer for him to die, if it came to that, but the overwhelming guilt he experienced every time he managed to distract Sterling enough to where she didn’t realize what he was doing made it difficult to feed. It didn’t stop the gnawing hunger; oh, no. Nothing stopped the hunger; it lurked and writhed deep within Thane, and with each passing day, it was growing stronger and stronger. With each passing hour, Thane’s fear of his instincts, his darkness, taking over grew more and more solid. He would rather stake himself than harm Sterling, but he knew if he let it get to a certain point he wouldn’t be able to stop himself. Survival instincts would kick in, and he would do whatever was necessary to sustain himself.
He’d kept his ruse up for a month and a half now, and while his feelings for Sterling had deepened with each passing day, his mood continued to darken and he seemed constantly agitated. His temper was short, and although he wasn’t prone to outbursts, it was clear when Thane’s anger got the best of him. His eyes would darken into a deeply shadowed green and his jaw would clench, the muscle on the side of his cheek ticking in time with his heartbeat. The pressure of his father’s expectations didn’t help, as he was constantly reminded of his… duties through snide remarks from either Kane or his father. The pressures of school, of his secret mating, of his hidden identity in regard to Sterling, and the expectations of his father were building up to a painful level; it was if a geyser was rumbling, releasing a gradually intensifying level of gas. It all combined into a painful sensation, a pressure that threatened to expand to such degree that Thane worried his chest might burst or his lungs collapse. Some days, it seemed hard to breathe, but most of his worries were eased when his mate was nearby.
Sterling alone seemed to calm Thane down, and her presence was a soothing balm to the fire burning behind his breastbone. Still, her presence stirred darker thoughts within him; some part of him wanted nothing more than to tear out her throat and bath in the wash of blood that would follow, but Thane refused to let that happen. He couldn’t; Sterling was everything to him. Still, with each passing day, the suggestions that he’d laid in her mind were weakening, and would fall away soon enough. He couldn’t restore them, as she was his mate and was therefore immune to any sort of mental influence from him.
Currently he found himself pacing back and forth in the small dorm that served as his room. His movements were choppy and agitated, and his jaw continued to clench and un-clench repeatedly. He was conflicted; Sterling deserved to know what he was, where she found herself, but he didn’t want to lose her. Couldn’t lose her. She was his anchor, his soothing mist that eased the pressures and aches of his life. He stopped moving and closed his eyes. With a deep, mournful sigh, he tilted his head back and blinked up at the ceiling. “Whatever gods exist, have mercy on me for what I’m about to do,” he murmured to himself, and to whatever deities might’ve been listening. He retrieved his phone, scrolled through his contacts and found his mate’s number. His movements were robotic as he clicked on her name, and, gathering all of his courage, typed out a single line of text.
“I need to see you.” He left the ‘we need to talk’ out of the text, concerned that she’d jump to conclusions that were utterly false. He snorted. It was doubtful that she’d ever guess what he was, but it was time she knew. Decision made, Thane dropped his phone on his bed, sat down next to it, and leaned back, resting the back of his head on the wall. His eyes closed, and he waited, still as a statue. A gargoyle awaiting its summons, guarding its treasure.
--
Pierre was losing his mind. Over the past month, Sabit Aya had inserted herself so deeply into the workings of his school that he was seriously tempted to throttle her, though he would never dare. As pissed as he constantly was at her, Pierre wasn’t stupid enough to try and chase her off. Sabit would wipe the floor with him, and both he and she knew it. Still, he made it clear that he did not want her here. She ignored him, of course; that was what Sabit did best – what she wanted, others’ desires be damned. His eyes scanned the computer screen in front of him, and he had to restrain himself from punching through the screen. She’d written him another email, passive aggressive and carefully worded, of course; apparently she was concerned about him and Thane. That was a load of bull, and they both knew it.
He pinched the bridge of his nose and turned his focus elsewhere. He had another matter to attend to, and he set his mind to his task.
Dear Mr. Weathergast,
It has come to our attention that your experience here at Caligo has been uncomplete, and that you have not been properly paired. While we, here at Caligo, strive to ensure everyone’s experience is of the highest quality, at times we have found ourselves unable to compensate every person on campus, despite our best efforts. That being said, I am emailing you to inform you that you have been paired with another student by the name of Kyah Sovie. Again, we apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced, and hope that your future here at Caligo is enjoyable in its entirety.
You will find your mentee’s email attached below.
With Sincerity, P. Kingston Headmaster

Gabriella was slowly becoming less and less certain that coming to Caligo had been the right choixmce. Yes, it was certainly an honor to have been accepted and she'd been making full use of the rather extensive resources at her disposal. But there was just something off about this place. She had still yet to meet with her mentor. He didn't seem all that interested in helping her out and, after two weeks of trying to simply meet him, she nearly went to the administration to ask for a new one. But by then, she'd already become aware that there was just something g off about this school. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it was certainly unnerving. The students almost seemed out of it half of the time, as if they were just going through motions. Otherwise they were normal and Gabriella had to convince herself she wasn't imagining things. And then there were the mentors. She'd spent a lot of time watching them over the past several weeks and was fairly confident in not lumping them in with the rest of the students. She wasn't sure why, but they just made her so uneasy, like someone was pouring ice water down her back every time she passed one in the hall. Gabriella had decided to do what she was best at. Research. She practically lived in the library, reading everything she could get her hands on about Caligo and its history. There had to be something there. It just was hard to request all of these books without drawing attention to herself and she had taken to sneaking them off restricted shelves for quick sessions, frantically snapping pictures of each page with her phone for closer examination later. The library had become her respite and this is where she found herself most days. As she poured over a book on hypnosis by a man she believed to be a common hack, she couldn't help but feel a small pang of regret. She had no idea why she was at this school anymore, it had just created so much more stress than she could have possibly imagined. Nyx is bored out of her mind and starving like a stray hound. For the past few weeks, she’d been picking at other vampire’s Chosens (aka: leftovers). Personally, she didn’t mind. She enjoyed the thrill of feeding off someone else’s claim, the act instilling in her a sense of rebellion and excitement. However, pickings had been slim lately. Most chose to keep their snacks close at hand in case hunger came knocking. It wasn’t so easy for Nyx to lure a stray human off into a supply closet anymore. And without a Chosen of her own, that left the vampire both bored and hungry. At this point, Nyx was desperate.
Which is, perhaps, the only reason she had wandered into the library. Reading was stuffy and tedious. The people who liked reading were stuffy and tedious. Why bother looking at words on a page when you could be out partying? But, as they say, desperate times call for desperate measures.
The library was empty, save for a scarce amount of souls populating the freshly-polished tables and overstuffed chairs. Like the rest of Caligo, the library sported a European gothic theme. Tall windows spilled sunlight over towering stacks of cracked leather bindings. The place smelled damp and stale and musty, like fresh air hadn’t touched it in centuries (Nyx was willing to bet that was exactly the case). She was already beginning to regret the decision to walk through the doors when something struck her.
A human girl sat apart from the other students, poring over a book as though it held the meaning of life. And, for her, it might. Intrigued immediately, Nyx reached out with her mind as she approached the girl and began prying through her private thoughts. What she found there offered a challenge that made her lips twitch with the faintest hint of a smile. The girl before her was unnerved by Caligo. Unnerved by its students. Unnerved by its staff. More importantly, she was beginning to doubt herself.
Oh, this would be too much fun.
“Hey,” Nyx paired her greeting with a curving smile, pulling ruby-colored lips back to reveal gleaming white teeth, “Mind if I join you?” The vampire didn't wait for an answer as she took the seat opposite of her. She tossed her glossy blonde hair over her shoulder, flipping her charm-switch on and retracting her influence from the girl’s mind. She wanted to see if she could do this without force. Not that she wouldn’t use force if the girl proved obstinate, but Nyx was currently an intense mix of bored and hungry and in desperate need of a distraction. Especially if said distraction was a pretty girl.

(Just so y'all know, the laptop is still being highly inconsiderate. So all replies are being done on mobile. So if things are short or have errors, that's the reason and I do apologize.)
Gabriella was not used to being approached. Granted, she'd been making an effort to stay clear of other students for the past week or two. She just couldn't deal with the strange feelings of unrest that seemed to overwhelm her whenever some of the students and staff were around. So shI had done her best to keep to herself, with the exception of Imani and a few others.
This girl, with long blonde hair and a confidence that was alien to Gabriella, was not one of those trusted few. Yet she sat down anyways, as if she hadn't a care in the world. There were several things Gabriella was tempted to say, some of which were rather rude as she saw no point in someone asking to sit if they weren't going to await an answer. But her brain seemed to have stopped working for just a second as the girl smiled and she found herself smiling back, "Uhh, hi. Hi there." She immediately realized she sounded like an idiot and cleared her throat, forcing some sense back into her brain. This girl must be want something, there was no other explanation for why someone like this would ever sit down with her. So she lifted her chin, trying not to sound quite so awkward this time, "Is there something I can do for you?"

{ don't worry about it, Amber~ }
Ugh, she’s cute. The sentiment was genuine. The girl before her was indeed a pretty little specimen. With long ebony locks and dark eyes like pools of coffee. “Well aren’t you a busy little bee~” Nyx purred, propping her chin on her knuckles as she glanced at the book sprawled open before her. She didn’t need to see the cover to know what it was, a quick dip into her mind told her it was a book on hypnotism and that she didn’t think the author to be very credible. That was adorable. Nowhere else to turn to for answers so she chose to read up on hypnosis? Close, but not quite.
Nyx leaned closer, the smile on her lips playful and teasing as she said, “And a cute little bee, at that. You gotta a boyfriend I should be worried about?” Worried. Ha! That was a laugh. As if Nyx had anything to fear. Well, aside from that Sabit woman who had made herself a permanent of Caligo as of late. That woman radiated power and wisdom like nothing Nyx had seen before. She was ancient and a force to be reckoned. To top it off, Nyx had a sneaking suspicion that, if caught in Sabit’s crosshairs, her escape wouldn’t be secured by a couple of seductive eyes and a carefully placed word or two, as had been the case with Nyx’s previous close-calls. But the solution was easy: avoid Sabit, avoid trouble. A simple philosophy.
“I’m Nyx, by the way,” she added, offering one outstretched hand to the girl across from her and brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear with the other. "Nyx Augustine." A flirtatious glint had manifested in her blue eyes. If all went well, Nyx would get a bit more than just a meal out of her. Of course, she had a feeling it wouldn’t be that easy. At least, it wouldn’t be that easy if Nyx avoided using her manipulation powers. Otherwise, the two of them would be on the way to her dorm room by now. But where was the fun in rabbits would made the chase easy?

Dmitri had been at Caligo for just about a month now and while he loved it, the whole human vampire relationship drove him up the walls. He sat outside on a carved stone bench, basking in the sunlight, masculine face turned upwards towards the sun. It was a more rare sunny day, he thought to himself, as usually the mist hung around well into the late morning. This morning, however, the sun had burnt off the shroud of mist, leaving the forest open and removing the eerie darkness that had hung between trees just hours earlier. Dmitri spent as much time as he could out here, hot or cold, rain or shine. Just breathing the fresh air put his nerves at ease. Previously he remembered feeding on many people, all just once, travelers who passed in and out of town. Sitting on the bench, Dmitri pondered his situation now. Now everything was more personal. It was a single person who had little idea what they were truly there for, or at least very little understanding. Dmitri had been avoiding feeding as much as possible, eluding the pangs of hunger that often ripped at his stomach. He'd been alright thus far, but lately the hunger had been more fervent in its cries. He knew his Chosen's name, what she looked like and yet every time he'd pass her, Dmitri would avert his eyes and steer clear. He knew, of course, he was just delaying the inevitable. Standing up, Dmitri took one more long breath of fresh air before going back inside Umbra. There, both Humans and Vampires bustled around, though the hall seemed fairly devoid since many were in classes at the moment. Dmitri himself was supposed to be in class, but having felt an incoming anxiety attack, he'd skipped, and instead spent his morning where he felt most at home. There, he felt the anxiety creeping back up upon him just watching his own kind interact with the humans. To him, their efforts were painfully obvious, though he wondered how the vampire charm worked in the eyes of humans. Shaking his head, Dmitri headed back to his dorm, smiling at passing people and making small talk with a few he shared classes with. As anxious as he may be about everything, Dmitri was going to try to make the most out of his university experiences. After all, he was an extrovert. Opening the dorm door, Dmitri slumped on his bed, staring emptily at the ceiling. After a few minutes, he groaned, rolling over and picking up his old decrepit flip phone and a pair of headphones that had been haphazardly duck taped together in several areas. Pushing the control pad down and the select button several times Dmitri let out a satisfied huff as music hit his ears -- or one ear, the right ear cup just kind of made quiet dying screams. Nodding his head to the beat, Dmitri got back up, heading towards Noctem hall hoping to find some food. Perhaps it wouldn't sate his appetite for blood, but at least it gave him something to do and proved a distraction from his stomach. As he walked, Dmitri lost himself in his thoughts, accidentally bumping into several people, muttering half apologies as he continued to stroll by. He was in luck, there was some breakfast left and Dmitri snagged some food before sitting down and picking at the food as his phone cycled through his playlist several times. Mae Oakley
The cafeteria food wasn't the best food in the world, but Mae had worked up an appetite after a long morning of music classes. She wrapped her hands around her burnt hamburger and took as huge a bite as she could. A small, delighted moan vibrated her chest as she chewed, the juice dripping down her fingers. She set it down and grabbed the napkin off the table, quickly wiping the mess off her hands before going in for another bite of hamburger. It took her all of two minutes to scarf down the rest of her food (fries and all), and when she had finished, Mae gathered up her plate. The girl threw away her trash, loaded her plate onto the conveyor belt, and moved back to her table to clean it off for the next person waiting to sit down. As she cleaned it, she couldn't help but looked to the side to man with the headphones.
Her first observation was that he looked incredibly familiar. The university wasn't that big so it was possible that she had seen him in passing or even sat next to him in class before. However, there was something that drew her to him... like seeing an old friend. Her light green eyes roamed over him involuntarily, noting his strong physique and the beautiful tone of his skin. Her hand stilled. She blinked slowly, oddly transfixed by the man beside her. Her second observation was that the music played a little too loudly for being in public. Mae tilted her head slightly at the sound. She knew that music. A smile kissed her lips as she listened, completely content to stare at this stranger that had captured her so.
Someone sitting at the table behind her cleared his or her throat loudly. Mae's head snapped towards the sound and the amused watcher, flustered. Her cheeks flushed bright red the moment that she realized she had literally been caught staring at a complete stranger. Embarrassment shot through her like a firework and her first reaction was to flee the scene of the crime. Maybe the man hadn't noticed and she could successfully bury herself alive. Quick as a snake, she turned away from the watcher and grabbed her violin case, determined to flee the cafe before the man stopped her. Social death would be quick and merciless if he questioned her. Head down and brown hair covering her face, she moved to go past Dmitri to escape the situation.

Kain wasn't entirely sure what to make of his first month at school. It felt quite a lot like all the other months before it, except this time his responsibility was attached to another person that he was very afraid of breaking. Cass seemed real nice and he wanted to keep her that way, keep her very much not-dead or traumatized. He liked being friends with her, but felt panicked half the time he tried to help her out around campus and try to be what he thought a real ambassador ought to be. At least he was more normal around here than some of the other vampires he'd seen. Was everyone supposed to be this scary? Seeing them look at the humans like pieces of meat made him want to scream just about every time. God, why couldn't he be home counting ants or something. He was sure Cass thought that's what he did too, but lookin' dumb was better than lookin' like a predator.
But, this second year was also feeling a little more fun. Kain was getting a smidge more comfortable at the school in terms of being around other vampires, and he was slowly starting to not give a sh*t. Especially when it came to school rules, but that was less of being purposefully rebellious and more of just finding ways to pass the time on such a huge fancy campus. It was only a matter of time before he got himself into a mess, with Blair in tow.
Which, was much like where he found himself now, crouched out in the relatively-empty courtyard behind the main building, lining up empty glass bottles in a neat little row along one of the benches. He held his fingers out and squinted at his creation, making sure they were lined up even and good before standing up straight, dusting off his pants and turning to face Blair with his crooked grin. "There's ten bottles right here, betcha can't barely nick the neck of one of these suckers," he teased at her, brandishing a very nice looking Colt peacemaker from out of his belt. "You were never good at those bottle games at the county fair, either. Though, those things were always rigged! I always wanted me a golfish..."
Kain looked unperturbed at the fact that he was just straight up wielding a gun on campus. He popped out the barrel and loaded up the six shots before handing the gun to Blair, handle-first. At least he was practicing proper gun safety. No one was around, so it would be fine!

Gabriella glanced around at the mess scattered across the table, quickly shuffling a few papers out of sight. The last thing she needed was someone getting suspicious because of her various crackpot theories that were scribbled across every bit of loose paper she'd had tucked away in her notebooks. But she tried to play off her attempt to hide her work as simple shyness, ducking her head and glancing away, "Yeah, well, I like to get some work done. I mean, we're here to learn, right?"
Gabriella hazarded a closer look as she reached forwards to shake Nyx's hand. As soon as her fingertips brushed against Nyx's palm, she felt it. She'd felt it before, when brushing up against others in the hall or when certain professors got a bit too close. It was a tremor deep in her gut, primal and confusing. It was the sort of fear she'd felt when she saw a snake. It wasn't easily explained and certainly was rooted in some deep survival pattern in the back of her brain. But of course she couldn't show it. It was rude to run from one's classmates for no apparent reason.
Gabriella smiled, keeping her grip on Nyx's hand firm to hide the slight tremor in her fingers, "Gabriella Vaughn, it's nice to meet you. And ah, no, single as can be." The idea of her having a boyfriend was laughable, but she wasn't about to say that to a near stranger. The last time she'd been open like that was after her bad breakup and she'd had one too many beers and ended up telling the whole story to a pizza delivery guy who had been unfortunate enough to arrive just then. It wasn't a situation she wanted to repeat under any circumstance.

Vison had wandered about after growing bored of sitting beneath a tree and so he found himself in one of the dorm's study rooms, glancing about because it seemed particularly empty. Heading for a computer he logged on and leaned back a bit as he waited for everything to load, ignoring his hunger pains because he hadn't had a full meal in a long time. It was starting to get a bit harder to get a hold on some people's minds, and it was effecting when and who he could feed off of. The vampire originally planned on just finding something to occupy himself, that is until his email alerted him to a new email. Rolling his eyes he opened it up and read, his expression changing from one of boredom to one of surprise and then stopping on one of irritation. He smacked his lips once before deciding to print out the email. When it was all said and done he logged out and made his way towards Pierre's office because ho boy that man was going to get it. He wasn't sure what he was going to do yet, but man oh man he wanted to rip into the older vampire. Of course, Vison wasn't one to get into a yelling match or anything, oh no, not at all. He was more interested in being sly and sneaky, something that wouldn't get him pummeled into the ground because that was certainly not something he wanted to have happen. As he made his way across towards the office, he happened to notice two figures a bit ways away and he stopped to watch a bit before realizing who it was. Oh! His two buddies, Blair and Kain, it seemed were doing something though he couldn't tell from here. Shaking his head he continued on his way because he was a vamp on a mission right now.
When he got to Pierre's office, he knocked and then practically let himself in without waiting for any indication that he could enter. "Hello," he sung out in a purr like voice, happily walking up to the desk and simply pushing himself up so he was sitting on the edge of it, legs dangling off the edge. "I got your email," he started, looking over the paper before looking back at the man with a happy little smile that just wasn't fully reaching his eyes. "Do you know how long I've been suffering, sir?" he mused, fanning himself with the paper he'd printed off. "I'm starving and while I appreciate the weight loss, I'm practically dying over here and well, I'm not really all too happy about that. You claim that you strive to have everyone's experience here be a good one right? I can't say I've had much of a good one this semester, sir. I've half a mind to make your life as hellish as you're little mistake made mine," he sighed, placing the paper on the man's desk and gently pushing it towards him, giving him fake bambi eyes. "You've been letting me waste away to nothing, me, a pureblooded vampire of all things, and you're just letting me...starve to death, how could you sir?" he let out an overly dramatic sigh, putting the back of his hand to his forehead before simply getting up and walking around the room to look at things. "It would have been awful should I have gotten hungry enough to blow our cover," he mused, looking over at Pierre with an all too cheery expression. "Oh, it would be rather unfortunate should the humans find out, now wouldn't it? It'd be a shame if someone....let them in on the little inside secret huh?" This was probably the most dangerous game Vison had ever played and something about it made him all giddy inside and he was ready to make a run for it should Pierre get angry with him. Though he wasn't sure if he could outmaneuver and outrun the older vampire.

Blair, on the opposite hand, had been avoiding her Chosen like the plague. He was, in a way. Vampires were supposed to be heartless, bloodthirsty, cunning. Getting too attached to any human was like a disease to most of the school. A funny weakness called "emotions." Anyways, Hugo was probably off partying or something. Blair only sought him out when she needed food, always making sure to entirely wipe his memory of her ever having been there. She didn't like to abuse her powers like that- not that many others at the school would consider it abuse -but she didn't need Hugo in her life outside of food. And she really did not need the awkwardness of keeping those "pleasurable" memories in there.
With a half-lidded gaze, Blair watched as her friend set up bottles outside one of the many school buildings. Although, if she had to guess, this one was the most "priceless" of them. So why then, were they going to be shooting outside of it? Blair wasn't sure. It was simply convenient. Plus Blair was pretty sure some of her careless rebelliousness had rubbed off onto the goody-two shoes farm boy that was Kain. As he mocked her talent with a gun, the vampire could only sneer. "Shut it, Eddel, or I'll just have to shoot you. Again."
She gingerly took the gun from his hands, momentarily scrunching her nose in disgust. She had never been a fan of guns. No, Blair much preferred a bow. Her family had been sticklers for old, old, tradition. Which meant learning to shoot and hunt with a bow. It was about the only thing she ever succeeded at. The only thing her family liked her for. At least that was how it felt to her.
But Kain had been trying to teach her how to fire his pistol for about, forever. If she had to score herself, it would be an A+ for effort, and a D for actual success. Really, she should have been good at this. A bow and gun couldn't be too different right? Nope! Not to mention her sister had been incredibly talented with any kind of marksmanship. If only she could have taught her. Then she could really give Kain a run for his money.
Blair lifted the gun, making sure she had a steady stance before firing. She went through the whole round before dropping her arms with a huff of frustration. Not a single bottle out of place or even a nick in sight. "I think guns have a vendetta against me," she remarked, giving Kain a look as she held the gun back out to him. Her trusty weapon of choice was sitting a few feet away in the grass, which she longed to shoot instead.

Kain didn't have the heart to admit to Blair that they were shooting bottles in front of such a fancy building because he lowkey wanted to give the administration a bit of an underhanded jab in a way that didn't seem entirely rebellious. He knew she would never let him live it down, and he would never feel like a good son to his mama ever again. A part of him did feel bad that he was putting this pretty building in danger, but it was built by some nasty people whom he didn't much care for, so the lavish architecture was just going to have to deal with his soft-hearted attempts at fighting the power.
In terms of shooting things, Kain considered it one of his few skills, but he was certainly not as nifty with a bow as Blair was. Extending the same hand, she'd tried to teach him too but he just wasn't as good at it, maybe had a few decent shots here and there but half the time almost impaling himself. Guns were a bit more simple to understand, and also a lot more satisfying to shoot. He took the gun from her with a teasing look, tsking as he turned it over in his hands. "Aw come on, ya just need a bit more practice. I'unno, I think maybe yer holding it a little too tight, like yer scared of it. But hey, more points for me," he laughed lightly, patting her on the back with his free hand.
Kain popped the barrel out again, loaded six more shots, and clicked it back into place. He took his own proper stance, holding the gun out, aiming it with a calm demeanor that seemed to only come to him with a gun in his hand. He fired off six shots, each bringing the satisfying CRUNCH of a bottle shattering. He turned to look at Blair with a grin that was simultaneously smug and innocently excited all the same. "How's that for some fine shootin'? I know you have it in ya, B, just shoot one bottle," he encouraged, loading the gun once more and handing it back to her, gesturing to the remaining for bottles with his chin. "Unless that is yer gonna turn tail and give up. Would be quite a shame, don't think you'd want me telling the others that you lost reaaaal bad~"

Im here! Sorry for not getting on last night I fell right to sleep after work.)
Kyah looked at her new room with excitement, she was finally out of greece and away from her four brothers she was practically jumping for joy her braid swaying back and forth. She then took a deep breath and began to unpack her belongings, she found it weird when she was in town that the rumors of this school were dark and filled with creatures of myth but she was a novelist and giggled at the thought of Vampires. Realizing she was getting her thoughts off track she went back to putting up her tapestry and posters, on the mirror she placed pictures of her hometown and of her family so she would start her day looking at her home. Her tapestries however had no real meaning other then she loved the design and color; one was a penticle with cletic knots and moons that was a rich purple with silver thread the other was of the tree of life with never ending Knots and two wolves howling on either side of the tree which was of bright metallic gold thread on a massive black sheet. After fighting with the massive tapestry she groaned and stepped off the stool, she was only 5'5" and hadnt realized the ceiling was eight foot high so even if her stool was tall enough she would still have trouble with the heavy cloth. So with a sigh and a slight swallow of her pride she walked to her neighbor whose name started with a V but she had slight trouble remember how to pronounce it. She knocked on the door and waited with a smile.
