 It's been less than twenty years since solar flares scorched our earth, leaving most of it uninhabitable and throwing the climate and world into chaos. Even more recently the deadly Flare virus started infecting people, either killing them quickly or slowly, driving them mad in the meantime.
It was soon clear that their were people immune to it, though. A hope of survival and recovery. Few and far between, it was them alone that would save the human race. We've been lucky enough to collect a good amount of immune children, and have been studying them ever since under careful watch. It's slow, however, and it wasn't long before we knew it wasn't a simple anomaly of their body.
It was only in their brain, like the Flare. The decisions they made and how they reacted were what kept the Flare from rooting in their minds. It took years of planning and building, but finally we have the perfect environment, test, trial, the bring out exactly what we need.
It's time to begin the Maze Trials.

No spamming
No major cussing
Keep it PG-13 or under
Write at least two lines of Roleplay per character
Keep character genders semi-even
Characters are 13 - 16 at insertion
You may have as many characters as you can handle
No power playing
Don't do anything dramatic without asking me or go more than two pages while I'm not on.
Please have read at least the first book or second prequel, though it's not required

* - Each maze starts off with fifteen subjects. A new one will arrive every month after for a year, when the maze has twenty-eight subjects in it.** - All subjects will have all their personal memories withheld, with exception of their name. They will still have impersonal memories of the world, aside from anything having to do with the sun flares. (Characters don't remember their last names).** - In the beginning, the glade already has a small barn and animal pen, animals, a crop field, a very small house with plumbing and a cement cell with a barred window and door.
** - For simplicity's sake, both groups will come up with the same jobs/language independently.
*** - For leaders and second-in-commands, don't put that as your character's "future job." We will roleplay it out to see who gets those positions.
*** - If you make more than one character in the same group, please let me know if you would like them to arrive in the glade later, as about half of the characters will die before escape (I also recommend making more than one character).
** - For attacks and injuries, we'll use "dice rolls." You must either volunteer one of your characters or they'll all be entered. If your character was the victim of the last dice roll, though, you'll be excused from the next one.

Builders - This group is in charge of building and renovating anything in the glade.
Bricknicks - Similar to the Builders, this group primarily does repairs in the glade.
Sloppers - This group does cleaning and any other widely undesirable tasks in the glade.
Baggers - This group acts as guards and also deal with dead bodies in the glade.
Cooks - This group is in charge of preparing food in the glade.
Track-hoes - This group works in the gardens, caring for and growing plants in the glade.
Med-jacks - This group works as the doctors in the glade.
Slicers - This group works with the farm animals and are in charge of butchering them for food in the glade.
Runners - This group explores and memorizes the maze to find an exit.
Map-makers - This group works with the Runners, some being Runners themselves, to analyze the maps the Runners make.
