IC :: Cairo lightly growled, allowing small signals that Silver gave to direct him around. THe almost inaudible sounds, the small things he saw her do out of the corner of his eye. Cairo started towards them closer, baring teeth at the couple who showed up. He started lowering himself to the ground in preparation of attacking them.

IC: Mason only then just got the whiff of the rotting meat and his heart dropped. He glanced at Amari and guessed she smelled it as well. "Run out the back, I'll be right behind her." He whispered as quietly as he could to her. He didn't want to run himself cause he knew the wolf was faster then them, so he would keep backing up from it for when it tried to attack. He hissed at the wolf protectively.

OOC Text
IC It was the next day, in the late morning hours, when that nightmare mist finally wore off. Norman woke up on his bed, in their penthouse, with somebody in a chair next to it. He sat up and looked over to see Ives. The last thing Norman remembered was...was that nightmare, and if he was here and not in the hotel anymore, that meant...they must've been freed.
Ives had fallen asleep waiting for him, but when he heard Norman start to tussle around, he woke up fairly quickly and looked over at him, smiling. "Hey, you're awake...you've been sort of out of it lately," he explained and Norman looked at him, as if trying to piece it all together.
"We're no longer at the hotel..." he said, stating the obvious as it was the only thing he could think of to do right now and Ives nodded.
"Yeah. Me, Boston, Shiva, Thaddeus even, a bunch of other people, we all teamed up to rescue you guys. A lot of people were taken, it took awhile, but we got you out," he explained, excluding the bit about Hazel for now since that was going to be hard to dive into
Norman nodded along slowly, waiting for everything to register. "I see. So, you...you came to our rescue then?" He asked, looking down at the blankets covering him. A part of him really didn't like that he needed to be rescued, another liked that Ives cared to come get him, even if it was with everyone else too.
Which Ives seemed to get what Norman was thinking. "Well, more or less everyone. But I came to rescue you," he clarified and Norman paused, looking stubbornly down at the wall for a few more seconds before he looked over at Ives, looking a little unsure.
"Me? You came to rescue me? You care that much?" He asked carefully, feeling rather warm and fuzzy inside though, knowing that Ives had come for him, and not just out of some sort of heroic duty, but because he actually, genuinely, cared about Norman.
Ives smiled warmly at him. "Yeah. I mean, everyone else too, but definitely mostly you," Ives told him and Norman didn't know wether to look away or keep eye contact with Ives. "And of course I care, Norman. I care a lot about you, you know that. Even if you get captured a thousand times, I'll always come for you," he promised, and both of them were a little, or a lot in Norman's case, red in the face. Ives because he was going over all of his feelings, and Norman because of everything Ives said.
OOC Text
IC A rather comfortable silence fell over the room, Norman content to just stay like that, until Ives spoke up again. "Norman, I-"
"Man, I'm hungry...What time is it? Well anyway, time for food," Norman decided and stood up, quickly walking out of his room before Ives could continue what he was going to say.
The dog stayed back and huffed slightly. This was going to take awhile. If only he could convince Norman to just talk to him about it for a few minutes.
Meanwhile outside the room, everyone else was gathered in the kitchen and dining area.
Hazel had come over, like she said she would, and she, Ty, Kai, and Boston Waldo, were currently talking.
"So you expect me to believe that after two years of randomly disappearing, you're back, and you want to redeem yourself," Ty drawled out as he looked over at Hazel, who nodded with a sort of awkward smile.
Boston Waldo opened his mouth to talk when Norman walked out, however he paused when he spotted Hazel, and Hazel looked over at him.
Once again, silence filled the room, air getting tense, until finally Hazel cleared her throat, smiled, and waved. "Guess who isn't dead?"

IC Amari shook her head as she looked at Mason. "I'm not leaving you. Look, I've got a defense, that thing bites me, it's gonna be in a bunch of pain, you however, you don't have anything like that. You head out," she told him in a hushed, fast paced whisper, glaring over at the wolf as continued to take a few steps back, honestly it would be better if the thing bit her anyways, she could handle getting hurt, and it would hurt the wolf too.

He wasn't goin to run out, he at least wanted to be there if nothing else. Well that was one of the upsides to her skin, if something bit her she'd be in a better spot then her attacker.

IC :: Cairo paused, he couldn't understand the two, however Silver did. And she had just gotten tense. She warned him not to bite, though Cairo could still claw at them, there wasn't much else. Which is when he got the signal to back away, to go back to the second floor and wake some of the others, but just be careful about doing that. And so Cairo listened, retreating quickly, leaving Silver to allow herself to be shown.
The lither feles wolf carefully moved out as the wolf moved away- though she wasn't aware he watched from the stairs instead.

IC Amari's eyes widened when the wolf retreated and instead was replaced by a feles wolf, she still moved in front of Mason though, since if this thing did choose to attack, it would be better if she was attacked first. She was poisonous, not as much as other hybrids could be, but it was enough to at least help out in this situation. She had always been sort of proud of it, it gave her an advantage.

IC :: Silver looked over the two carefully. One was seemingly poisonous, the other less lethal. It was unfortunate that she didn't speak their tongue, only understood it. Though it didn't lessen her own power, she siked her tail to the ground and with dark eyes started towards them, standing tall.
--
Feles was rushing, badly. Because he hated the thought that Madeline was dead, he shouldn't have cared now- he really shouldn't. He couldn't help it though. He had to make sure the hybrid who treated him better than his pack did was okay. It seemed silly from someone else's point of view, say a human or hybrid, that he left her for his pack. He wasn't sure himself, it was rather strange. But he knew that he still needed to make sure she was okay.

It certainly wasn't the reaction Hazel expected, or was hoping for. "Norman I can explain everything if you just give me a chance-"
Norman cut her off, furiously wiping at his face with his sleeve. "Save it mom. I don't want to hear it. Y-You don't understand. Knowing you're alive...it...it's like you abandoned me all over again," he said, shoulders dropping as he went from angry to all emotionally exposed in a matter of second.

IC Amari backed out of the way, making her way closer to the back door. Though even so she still did get knocked in the side, despite her best efforts and tripped slightly before regaining her balance and glaring down at the feles wolf, all she had to do was hold her off until she was either bitten, or they escaped, though really as long as she got hurt in general, cuts, scraps, she could use that to their advantage.

IC :: Silver was relieved when she heard the footsteps of three others down the stairs, and rather quickly, Silver went around the two as fast as she could to block the exit. She was relieved who Cairo picked out to help, the wolf brought Black with him, as well as Calico. Luckily, two of the ones Silver trusted most- along with White of course. However he wasn't there- and so Silver barked an order to them to help, along with warning them not to take a bite out of the girl.
And then Calico went for the bird boy, as Black joined ilver to block the entrance, Cairo standing guard in front. Though a small conversation between Silver and Black allowed the two to decide that Black was going to knock back into Amari as well.

IC They had a problem. Amari glanced over at the two blocking the exit, and then back over at Mason. The ceilings were high, if he could get in the air, he might have a chance, Amari however couldn't fly, she would have to stay on the ground, but that was okay, they couldn't kill her without it hurting them too, she could stand her ground against them, and if all came to worse, she had no problem hurting herself in able to get the poison going and attack them.

A bite towards his wrist was something she could do, flicking her tail to have Cairo join her- specifically she told the wolf with a sharp hiss to go for his wings. Cairo did as told.
And Black moved to stand tall, carefully on two legs as he looked at Amari, balancing himself. And then he launched towards her, not with a bite- but claws unsheathed to attack her full on. Silver carefully watching with a frown. This really only made one of the two useful to eat then, huh?

IC Amari knelt down to avoid being hit, and lunged over further into the living room, making a break for the couch. She knew her mansion and she knew where things were hidden. Dewey...and Juno, both enjoyed hiding weapons around the mansion in case someone attacked them, Amari thought it was stupid at the time, but now? Not so much. Once she got to the couch she quickly took out one of the cushions and pulled out a knife-she refused to allow guns anywhere Cliff might get to them. Once she had it, she turned back to the others and pointed it at them, if she could cut them, she could put her skin to use without needing them to bite her.

IC :: Silver barked at Black carefully. She didn't like the idea of hybrids having weapons against feles wolves. It was something the creatures generally disliked, as they were unable to use them. He answered her back and it went back and forth as he moved towards her carefully, away from Amari. Once it was finished, Silver took his place to head towards the girl, being smaller than him she would have an easier time slipping past harm.
Calico promptly moved back in pain. With a word from Black, she was reminded that she had to be more careful about fighting. She moved away, allowing Cairo to continue to hand onto the male hybrid, biting into the wings to get some feathers off and injure him. Like hunting a bird, a really large human-ish bird. And once she saw Black and Silver switch, she offered a switch with him- so Black took Calico's place instead.
--
Feles paused on the street opposing the mansion. He was sure that Silver had already placed the attack, that it had happened, he hadn't exactly had the chance to meet with them anytime lately. However he was worried, two options- they succeeded and there were dead bodies possibly one being Madeline, or that they failed and hybrids still overran the place and Feles could be in serious dangerous. But either way, he had a feeling he knew which direction the battle went, and if any of them had harmed the hybrid he used to know, well it wouldn't be so joyous to them. And so he started towards it once more.

OOC Text
IC "See, Norman," Hazel began. "When we snuck into that W.P.A base, and you went after your father, I went for a different reason. I wanted to find out what sort of information they had because I was looking for...answers to something I still have not been able to find," Hazel explained, eyes trained on the floor.
"But I was found out, these agents took me down, one tossed me in an interrogation room to get some information out of me. They planned on killing me to begin with, but I talked my way out of it," Hazel said as she thought back to that day. "I struck a deal, in which I would help them in return for my life, they needs me out west...But when we got there, I ran for it, because I wanted to get back to you," Hazel said and Norman looked at her curiously as he ate the sandwiches.
Hazel paused for a moment, taking a shaky breath. "However, I guess I ended up hitting my head pretty hard on the way, and I lost consciousness. I was found, later, by a rabbit hybrid named Gavi, she along with everyone else at the burrow, nursed me back to health...however I had lost my memory," she paused and looked up at the wall. "If we want to get technical, I had retrograde amnesia, and still, not everything has come back," she confessed with an almost sheepish smile.
"So, the reason I didn't come back, was because I didn't remember. Bits and pieces of my memory came back to me over time, but it took awhile, I only began to remember most of it all a few months ago," she explained and looked back down. "I didn't come back right away because...I was ashamed. I had grown used to being Kimberly, I was...different, and then I remembered how horrible I was and...I couldn't go back," she said weakly.
Hazel paused for a moment before she shook her head and sighed. "Then I ran into someone that I used to know and I realized I couldn't stay at the burrow any longer-oh also, the burrow is what they call the neighborhood, the residents there. Most are rabbit hybrids...they multiple like nothing else, I'll tell you that..." she said and chuckled slightly before remembering where she was going. "Anyways, so I came back and I find out you were taken by some crazy psycho cat lady, and I came to rescue you," she finished.
