[Thank you! c: I'm sorry this post is kinda long; i always get super awkward when i join new rps and write wayy too long pieces of text ;w; also, i have absolutely no idea of what their current surroundings look like; anyone who could possibly fill me in on that?] Moray - Perseverance, i guess - Eel hybrid [drawing included in attachment] The young female opened her eyes slightly and stared into the light with a blank expression on her face. She got up and stretched her claw-like fingers for a bit, after which she scratched the dry skin on her elbow for a moment. She had been out of water for quite some time now, and it was starting to annoy her quite a bit. She wasn't used to this. She'd tried to forget about the rather miserable position they were all in for a while now, but even she couldn't stop the occasional thought from seeping back into her head. Though she'd joined team perseverance more on a whim than with any real thought behind it, she'd started to try and see the positive sides of actually trying to survive here first. Sure, she had to admit, she hated this place, but the glorious plan of escape that many of the freedom-aligned people had just wasn't the right way to go. She couldn't help but feel that it was stupid and too hopeful for the others to think they actually had a chance of escaping with everything being as it was right now. But she couldn't help but have the feeling she was just making this up to convince herself she'd made the right choice. She walked a bit further, and contemplated searching for some water. Maybe, just maybe, she could even find something edible there? Attachments:

Pain pulsed in his head as he crouched there, and he stood, knowing a walk would help clear his thoughts. Taki looked to the house, a pained expression on his face. Should he tell her he was going? No. She probably despised him now. Fareeha couldn't stay here forever, could she? Would it be so bad if she did? Taki pushed through the hanging leaves that proved as the entrance to his home, and took a breath. He should do something to make it up to her⦠He was rather rude.

Gathering her wad of grass, River moved back to the onion pile as well. "Do's we has enough?" she asked, flicking her dark gaze to the pile of leaves, to the wad of grass, then back again.
