OOC It’s fine.
IC Norman shrugged again, as if that was answer enough. Of course it was Lukas, he probably wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without the man’s help. No, he was sure he wouldn’t have. However, that last part did peak his interests a little. “Assumptions? What kind of assumptions?” Norman asked, looking at him curiously for a change, he actually was kind of curious to know what assumptions were going around about it all.
"I feel like it would be obvious. He worked for your mother, a scientist who built the Wings labs only for it to all crumble. Now, he works for her son, a child who wants to do good in the world and make a cure for a disease. You've apparently hired people to help you with it, and considering your mother's apparent loss of memory, you are not doing this with her. And from what I heard, you are a little more ambitious than to just do all of this without taking it to another level," Michael started with a small smile on his face. "I am left to assume you decided to continue dear mom's business in the labratories." OOC Text
IC Norman gave a small scoff. “I’m only trying to save the city. I don’t know who you think I am, but I’m not starting my mother’s Wings up again. I spent a good long time trying to take that down, I wouldn’t just start it up again, now after all that. Seems kinda contradictory, doesn’t it?” He asked, giving Michael a look.

IC :: Michael nodded lightly, pondering it for a moment. It was contradicting, however what a person did at one point in time could change very quickly if needed. Such as befriending hybrids from a young age only in years to follow experiment on them instead. "I suppose, however it has been two years since that happened, no? A lot can change in that time frame. Such as deciding the work she did could potentially help others rather than harm. That is what she was doing there, from the information I had gathered about the place. She seemed to do more hurt than help, and thus you- her own son decided to ruin that for her. Though I must say, thank you for destroying that, it was much more beneficial to me in the long run I believe."

IC Norman rolled his eyes again. “Right, because a seventeen year old hybrid boy who had been traveling the world the last two years definitely has time to construct a whole labs nearly by himself instead of idly throwing together a last minute group of people either you know or scientists that are willing to help save everyone and not just help you out, that first option is most certainly the better option of the two, makes sense, I agree,” he said sarcastically as he looked at Michael expectantly, waiting for him to reply to that. Norman was very good at doing the impossible, but Michael didn’t need to know that.

IC :: "A similar situation has happened before. Of course, some things were different-" Michael began before closing his eyes tightly in annoyance as the door opened. "Yes, F1?"
The spider hybrid glanced at Norman with a sharp glare, but ignored the situation completely, "Dr. Hartington finally arrived. He seems a little irritated at the moment, for multiple reasons it appears. Uh, for allowing his people to get knocked out, destroying the sample, and interrupting his newest experiment- though, it appears that it is going well."
"I don't f-----g care about that. His business with those beasts is absolutely idiotic." Michael shook his head, moving towards the exit of the cell, where Buibui was still standing. "But I suppose I should deal with it. F1, I would appreciate if you could continue what I was doing here while I talk with my father. Don't be too vicious, please, he is still more useful alive."
She nodded before entering the cell as Michael left, eyes narrowing on Norman. "Now, what were you two talking about last?"

IC Norman watched Buibui walk in and glared at her in return. He was always a bit more afraid of her than others, bad experiences. However, he put on a brave face and waited until Michael and left before he truly put his focus on the devil woman. Then, he gave a smile, one of those “I’m purposefully being as annoying as I can” kind of smiles as he put his hands in his lap and stretched back a little. “Unicorns. Personally I think they’re real, but Michael doesn't. What do you think? Unicorns, yay or nay?”

IC :: Buibui bared her fangs in a hiss, already annoyed. It was very visible. "I don't see why he won't just kill you. It's easier to get a random person off of the street and experiment like that. Your are extremely unneeded. So why does he think you are so damn valuable?"

IC Norman shrugged. “Dunno, I’m nothing special, just some random squirrel boy who would rather be anywhere but here. Guess Michael sees something else though,” Norman paused and looked at her. “Maybe he sees something in random, useless people like us, right?” He asked, flicking his tail slightly, bringing it up to brush up to her. He wasn’t going to show that he was afraid of her, instead his plan was to annoy her, since she couldn’t kill him yet.

IC :: SHe bared her teeth once more as Norman moved his tail. Then, defensively, Buibui spoke, "I am not nearly as useless as you are. I am one of the most dangerous hybrids out there. And apparently one of the only loyal ones. At least I can defend the more important people while you are just a nobody. Worthless and small."

IC Norman let out a bitter laugh. “Oh I’ve heard that before. But believe it or not She-demon, despite my size, I am not worthless,” Norman told her, gaze hardening. “Took me awhile to realize that, but I have now, and I think you know that as well,” he said and leaned forward a little, looking Buibui in the eyes. “Because, if I was really worthless, I’d already be dead. Yet for some reason, I’m not, so that indicates I’m not quite as worthless as you would like to think.”

IC :: "And what are you worth? You would be dead, cut open, or something by now if only that idiot of a snow leopard didn't care. And unfortunately, he actually is worth something, though it would be much easier to get rid of both of you. Just like those two stupid girls that spawned from Nadia. I'm surprised Michael didn't kill them when they were born- god, he should have just done that when the twins were," Buibui hissed out. She had an undeniable hatred towards the twins, and almost everybody with very few exceptions. Though those that peeved her off the most were currently the twins, Indigo, and by default of Indigo, the brothers.

IC Norman’s ears flattened against his head, nose crinkling angrily as he looked at her. “Killing children is never okay. Not that you would know anything about right or wrong, you’re nothing but a demented, failing, nearly useless spider who deserves to be squashed,” Norman told her. He could put up with her insulting him, it happened often enough. But everything else she had said had not been okay, and now he was angry.

IC :: "I am not useless! I have a worth greater than yours, that is for sure," Buibui hissed, hunching up with a snarl. The idea of her being useless, considering the circumstances she was in despite her reluctance to admit it. "I don't get myself trapped by others unlike some, now do I?" She had ignored the right and wrong part, as to be honest, she never had a moral compass to begin with. She was taught to be a killing machine since she was brought to the labs, knowing the difference wasn't important. And still, being insulted affected her.

IC Norman gave the slightest bit of a flinch, trying his best to remain calm, but that was hard when facing someone that had repeatedly tried to kill him or someone he considered to be a brother at some point, so many times. However, he forced himself to calm down, gulping back the need to flee as he looked her in the eyes and smirked. “Looks like we hit a sensitive spot, now didn’t we? Someone not quite convinced of her worth? Don’t worry, some people like spiders as pets. I’m sure Michael wouldn’t throw his little pet away anytime soon,” he reassured her in a fake, soothing voice, clearly mocking her.

IC :: She hissed a little more. "Of course not! I am the one who has stuck by his side ever since we were younger. He saved my life, so of course he wouldn't throw it away like that. He values me enough so that I am not going to become some small experiment that will be killed as soon as it is convenient!" And Buibui believed that. However, pretty much everyone at the labs but her knew this was absolutely, completely not true.

IC Norman nodded along in some sort of twisted idea of understanding. “Oh yes, you’re quite right. People do love their pets, I’m sure he’ll keep you around for longer...maybe. But then again, Michael doesn’t seem like the type to keep extras around, and so once that ‘usefulness’ you speak of, runs out...well in that case, it might be time for the itsy bitsy spider to be washed out,” Norman said, making sure to keep the eye contact to show he wasn’t afraid, even if he was.

I don't see Nathan," she stressed the snow leopard's name harshly, "or his sister do nearly as much!" IC Norman leaned back, giving her a disbelieving look. “Sure you are, honey. Though as far as doing everything he tells you, I must say, you’re doing a real bad job at interrogating me,” he told her, figuring he had messed with her long enough to get her all riled up and possibly on edge. Now to start selling some lies like you mean it. This was actually going a lot better than when Michael was here.

IC :: Buibui dodged towards Norman, her hand going towards his throat with a violent snarl of the mouth, "Torture isn't out of the way. Sure, I may not be allowed to kill you, or even majorly disfigure you- such as removing limbs from your body, but I can still cause you hurt. Don't be fooled. So I suggest you stop with this nonsense and give information before I, oh I don't know, break your leg? Last time I checked, you can at least heal a broken bone. Again, and again, and again."

IC Norman gave out a nervous chuckle, gulping slightly. “Good point. What...what would you like to know?” He asked, clearly afraid this time, which wasn’t hard, all he had to do was stop pretending he wasn’t afraid. Though all the same, his plan was working anyways. He highly doubted Buibui would know if he was lying, it would be easier to feed her lies to get her off his back than it had been with Michael.

IC :: She let him go with a growl, returning to where she was previously standing. Her dark eyes were narrowed carefully at the squirrel hybrid, "That's what I thought. IC “I didn’t want anyone else to get hurt or in trouble. While we were here, someone that came with me got shot and I wasn’t willing to put anyone else in danger,” Norman answered truthfully, seeing no point in lying with that one. “The original plan was for me to come alone anyways, then people insisted on coming, I should have been more firm on them staying, maybe then, no one would have gotten hurt,” Norman continued, looking down. He didn’t even know what condition Kai was in...he tried not to think about it though, lest he got emotional.

IC :: The spider gleamed at that. Considering the few people she knew that the squirrel knew, she got excited to know one was shot. "Who knew those stupid Adalina siblings could actually hurt someone. Was it what of your precious brothers? Hell, I would have loved to see that! So this means your only goal for coming here was really to get that pathetic sample?" Buibui grinned and smirked, showing her fangs in a less threatening way- more joyful. "And one of your brothers got shot while it happened, you are imprisoned, and there is no more sample! Ha! Tell me, who got hit- oh my, wouldn't it be wondrous if it was Indigo? Though really, any of your dead is for the better!"

IC Norman had to push the anger down, because it was quickly replacing that previous set of fear and he needed that to stay. However, no matter how hard he tried, he still wanted to punch her in the face, give her as many black eyes as he could. Not that he could actually hurt her anyways, but still. “Indigo is not my brother anymore,” he spat out angrily, however it soon deflated and he looked down. “I doubt he ever truly was...” Snap out of it Norman, focus. “So, no, it wasn’t Indigo, sorry to disappoint.”

IC :: With falsely sympathetic eyes, and a grinning pout, she said in a mocking voice, "Oh, you actually thought he would stay loyal to the four of you?" She paused for a second, dramatic effect, "Hah! He betrayed the labs, his home. It was silly to think he would actually stay with you idiots! Shame, I would have liked to see him without you little guard dogs. Maybe by luck something killed him! One way or another, whichever of your precious brothers got a boo-boo, I hope they die," it turned to a vicious snarl at the end. "Now talk, any information that could be useful. Now."

IC When she had said that, it took a lot for Norman not to hit her, the only think holding him back was the fact that he knew he would cause no damage and only get in bigger trouble himself. However, how angry he was must have shown on his face because he looked just as furious as he felt, which was not a good thing for someone trying to act his way out of this. “Fine,” he started in a drawl full of nothing short of loathing. “Once I heard about the cure, I got in contact with an old contact, we put together a makeshift group of scientists who wanted to help and people we know, to work on finding a cure, however the only way to make one was to use a sample of the disease, which is why I came here in the first place,” he explained.

IC :: Her eyes narrowed carefully, "Which scientists? Who, exactly that is. And there was no other things you wanted accomplished here, correct?" SHe carefully asked. It was the small information, but she figured it was likely more important. Though, that was to assure Wesley hadn't tried to get a new way to get the vials. Buibui figured the older blonde would do anything to get his hands on those, including getting a random hybrid to sneak in by somehow convincing him to.
