IC :: "If I can help, I am completely willing to," Shiva stated firmly. If she could do something, she would love to. Sitting alone in her room didn't sound nearly as fun or helpful. It wasn't as though she had scarring memories of the labs either. She hasn't even seen what the place looked like. Plus, Norman totally needed more backup along with his brothers, and she was willing to do that.

IC "I want to help too, in any way that I can," Beau added from his spot. After him, Klause muttered something about him being able to help too, and even Thaddeus offered his help.
Hazel, who Norman had honestly forgot was there, spoke up as well, her arms folded as she looked at them all. "Don't think I'm not going to help somehow. Lukas filled me in on everything with New Wings, and even though we need to have a talk later-" she stared pointedly at Norman. "For now, saving everyone else is more important. Count me in," she told him.
Norman stood there, frozen for a moment as he looked at this group of people, this amazing group of people that were willing to help. Even though it wasn't needed, even though he could do this on his own and would never, not in a thousand years, expect them to risk themselves for this. Yet here they were, all of them willing to help in someway and Norman soon found himself smiling, breathlessly laughing to himself. It was true, that he could do this alone. But it was in that exact moment that he realized he didn't need to.
"Alright then," Norman said, pausing for a moment as he tried to figure out what to say next. "I'm going to warn all of you right now, that I can't promise this will be easy, or safe. But if that doesn't stop any of you...well then," Norman paused, smiling. "Let's get started."

OOC Okay, can I just brag about my son for a minute? He's growing so much and accepting things he couldn't ever accept before. He's growing as a person, as a friend, as a brother, and I am just so proud of him. Then later he's gonna have a talk with Hazel that prompts him to completely take off the mask and just be himself so there's gonna be that and I'm just...im emotional about my sweet squirrel son whom I love dearly.

OOC Oh nice!
They are, even if the club only has three members. (I bet Ty calls them memebers.)
Yeah, some of them haven't been introduced yet, but they're all there in the character lists.
IC Boston Waldo had been the only one home when they arrived, and although he let them in, he didn't seem quite as enthusiastic. None of his uncles were there, neither was his father, there was a box of pizza on the table (which Amari was worried about because knowing Ty, and to a lesser extent: Norman, ordering pizza instead of making it homemade was a punishable offense.) And the apartment didn't look like it had been cleaned in days...if that.
"So," Boston Waldo started, looking to the two of them. "Why are you here, again?"
(It is! It's been more the six years! Honestly I thought we'd have more to say then we really do. She doesn't seem in the best...state of mind, but I'm not really sure.) (Oh my gosh really? Man Ty doing something like that does not help your 'cool status'. It's actually pretty funny though.) (Oh yes the list!) Mason looked around, also a little concerned with the state of the apartment. Probably not as much as Amari, but even he could tell this wasn't normal for them. When BW spoke to them he looked down at the boy. "We came to see if we could visit your dad, he didn't sound too good over the phone. Do you know where everyone is?" He asked, looking around again for a moment. Something had to be up, even BW wasn't as cheery as usual.

OOC: I know I haven't been here quite as long as you two, but I'm loving seeing how everyone is growing, including Norman and the rest of the brothers, it's truly awesome!
Oh and on a side note, thank goodness Mav doesn't know about any of this, he would not be happy knowing what both his siblings are getting into. Not at all. XD

OOC Morning guys!
Yeah, like I was saying, Ty is definitely the least cool member of the SCC, but they let him pretend and he's happy with that.
Ikr? They're growing up so much and I'm especially proud of Norman because he's realizing things that are really hard for him to understand and he's doing so well. I love him and the others so much.
Oh yeah, I can't imagine Mav would be okay with any of this. XD
IC Boston Waldo furrowed his brow, looking at them questioningly. "You don't know? Dad's sick. Do you know of that disease that's been going around? It's all over the news, come and look," he gestured for them to follow him as he walked over to the tv and turned it on. It was already on the news channel, with some woman on the tv covering the disease and just recently, the deaths that had occurred thanks to it. Boston Waldo let it go on for a bit longer for them to really get the picture before he turned off the tv again, looking over to them. "That's what he has...he's somewhere safe though, where he can rest while people try to find a cure."

OOC: Morning!
XD
Yeah, it's always amazing to see, especially in an rp like this where it hasn't dies within the first ten pages. We actually have a chance to develop them!
No, plus he'd be angry and hurt that no one even mentioned it to him, seeing how dangerous it is. He's probably way too protective of his siblings, I like it.
Actually speaking of Mav, do you want to rp him at the street race tonight or the next day when he goes to Billy?
IC: Mason watched the news until BW turned it off, his eyes wide in shock. When it was turned off, he looked at Amari, the shock and even fear most evident in his bright green eyes. "He-he has that?" He stuttered, mostly just to repeat it to try and comprehend it. He looked back at Boston with a frown. "Boston, can you tell us where he is?" He asked, not confident he'll get a good answer, but it was worth a try right?

Exactly, though sometimes I worry this roleplay is dying, but whenever we do get to roleplay, I'm happy.
Sure, maybe the street race then the next day?
IC Amari's eyes widened as she processed this information. Ty...Ty was sick, with something like that, something that bad, and he had lied about it their faces. She wasn't sure exactly what she was feeling right now, but it was a mix of anger, worry, and hurt. Though she remained silent as Boston Waldo spoke up, looking down as he skillfully avoided eye contact with either Amari or Mason.
"...I can't tell you. But he's safe, and there's lots of people helping him and...Thinking about it now, I'm pretty sure I probably wasn't supposed to tell you guys," he sniffed. "It's just...it's hard, you know? Mom's dead and now Dad's sick...might die too, I didn't think I wasn't supposed to tell you until just now," Boston Waldo fell quiet after that, staring at the ground and sniffing occasionally. Emotions had been running high for him, what he was saying by now probably wouldn't make any sense.

OOC:Sorry for the poof! I'm doing okay thanks, how're you?
Oh no! Ah that must be so frustrating, having to rewrite all your notes! I bet it'll show up again after you've already rewritten them.
Oh don't worry about this place dying. It'll stay alive. We might be poofy but we'll never actually leave.
Sure sounds good! Do you wanna start or me? IC: Mason looked between the two then at the floor, not even sure what to say. When he heard a sniffle, he looked at Boston and his more fatherly side of him that he learned from the Mansion kicked in. He frowned and moved over, kneeling down next to the boy. "It's okay. Your father will be okay, he'll make it through, promise," he said carefully, bending down to try and look into his eyes. He glanced at Amari for a moment, before looking at BW again. "You can tell us where he is Boston, you know all we want to do is see him," he said carefully. If he was dying, the least they wanted to do is see him. It had been a long time as it is, he didn't want to make it an eternity. Plus if he did actually die, it would be even worse, especially for Amari, if they didn't even get to say goodbye.

OOC Sorry for poofing, I was rewriting stuff.
I'll start.
IC Boston Waldo avoided eye contact, shaking his head. "You don't know that," he muttered under his breath, sniffling again. No one could know for certain that his father would be okay. He knew they were trying to make a cure, but what if it was too late? What if they couldn't make it after all? What if it didn't work? There were so many reasons for it not working out, and there was absolutely no promise that his father would make it. However, to stop himself from getting even closer to bawling, he focused on the next thing. "I can't tell you. I'm sorry, but Uncle Norman already made it clear that he doesn't want a lot of people there...and you could get sick, Dad and Ives cant be touched, that's how it spreads," Boston Waldo explained.
Amari had taken to watching, she had practically been the one to take care of everyone at the Hybrid Mansion, but she hadn't ever really been the one to comfort them, sure she helped them through a lot of stuff, but she wasn't very good at this part, the emotional part. However, her attention had snapped back to the conversation when Boston Waldo mentioned Ives as well. "Wait, Ives is sick too?" She questioned, knowing he had gone to stay here, but it hadn't seem to really register with her that he could be sick too.
Boston Waldo just nodded.

OOC Also, here's that starter for you. You wanna roleplay other street racers and people that came, with me?
IC Beau parked the car on the side of the street. They were at the outskirts of town by now, where there was mostly road and very little people...well, people that lived there. There were plenty of people already out and mingling on the streets. Once the car was parked, Beau turned the car off, still with the doors locked as he turned to look at Maverick. "Okay, before we leave the car, there's a few rules we need to go over," he started. "First, don't make bets with anyone. I know it can be fun, but believe me, it's not worth it," he started, clearly being serious about all of it. "Second, don't make anyone mad. Not everyone here is nice, like me or Billy," he continued. "Third, don't ever go into the roads after the races start, you'll get yourself ran over. Fourth, only talk to the people I introduce you too, and finally, Fifth, don't be embarrassing, it's bad rep, make you stick out, and probably get us both made fun of later, got it?" He asked, waiting for Maverick to reply.

OOC: Sorry! Also sure I'll rp some others too!
IC: Mason knew she wasn't really the comforting type, that was why that was his job instead. He was a lot better with that. It was kind of amusing how well he and Amari worked together. When he mentioned Ives, he looked up and over at Amari, his eyes wide. He too knew that Ives had gone to stay with the brothers, but he also hadn't even thought that he might have been sick as well. He was also annoyed that BW was persistent about not telling them where Ty was, because he wasn't going to try and ask again.
.+*_-----_*+.
Maverick nodded as he listened to Beau's rules. "Got it. No bets, only talk to people you introduce me to, don't get anyone angry, don't draw attention, and don't be on the road when the race starts," he recited to make sure he had it right. That wouldn't be too hard for him honestly. He'd never bet in his life anyway so that was the easiest by far. As far as talking to people and making them angry at him, he didn't want to talk to anyone anyway. He was not someone who liked attention, let alone bad attention, plus he was rather good at not being noticed so he wasn't going to have much trouble with embarrassing anyone. Lastly, running out onto the road when the race starts...well that was just a no-brainer.

OOC Afternoon everyone.
IC After the silence had dragged on long enough, Boston Waldo sighed. "Well, sorry you guys came all the way out here for nothing, everyone else is gone right now, so it's just me here, and I don't think you guys want to stay here and watch cartoons with me...so you should probably just go, we have pizza though, if you want any," Boston Waldo explained, pointing over to the pizza box.
-
Beau looked at him for a minute before deciding that was good enough and he unlocked the doors. "Alright, let's go, we have a bit to mingle before and after the actual races, so I can stay by you for a little bit," he told his brother, already getting out of the car, and as soon as Maverick was out as well, Beau locked the car back up and waited for Maverick for a moment before starting off in the direction of the crowd.

IC :: Shiva doubted anything Norman was involved in was easy or safe. And it wasn't like she was looking for something easy and safe. Currently, it was a good way to distract herself, and it wasn't like there was all that much to stop her from doing this. It kinda helped one of her brother's was willing to help with this. And what Maverick didn't know wouldn't hurt him, she supposed. He had no reason to know about this. Absolutely none, and she didnt plan to tell him as.... well, honestly she didn't fully trust to tell him, or something like that.
