OOC Text
IC Ty waited while Norman dragged his feet over and sat down at the edge of Ty's bed. He looked down, waiting for Ty to say something, but he didn't and Norman finally realized that he had to start. "...I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this, and I know it hits some sensitive spots, like the labs, and scientists, and being trapped," he paused to gesture towards the room. "I didn't tell you though, because you, and Niko, and Kai would not have approved, you wouldn't have let me do it, and you wouldn't see the benefits from having New Wings. I couldn't explain why I had to do this before, but I can now," Norman added.
Ty looked at him, scoffing slightly as he rested his head back. "It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission," Ty muttered under his breath, but let Norman continue.
"After Niko and Juno lost their kids, and after I realized everything that hybrids had to put up with, and even things that could had improved for humans and animals too, I knew I could do something. My mother already had the money ready and Lukas and I were able to find workers we could trust," Norman started, diving into an explanation of everything.
He went on to explain how it started, dive into why, the set up, what they were working on, and what their plans were, he explained how Ty and his brothers had clearance to all the information and that above all else, Norman would do whatever it took to save him.
Once he had finished, Norman looked to Ty to see his reaction.
Ty stared at him for a good minute before he just sighed and looked down. "Norman, you're too good for your health. Too fricken' noble and whatever. I've never known someone so determined to help others when they don't have to...and that includes me and Kai, you've seen us, we used to be like that too," Ty started as he looked up at the ceiling. "We turned you into a little monster hero," he choked out in a weird mixture of bitterness, laughter, and pride. "I know why you're doing this all. I just wish you had told us. I'm not mad, not any more," he added and Norman let out a sigh of relief.
However, then Ty jerked forward and reached out to jab Norman in the chest. "But if you ever do anything like this again, I'll skin you alive and I don't care what Niko or Kai say. Brothers stick together, we don't have secrets from each other and we don't start big ol' labs up without telling each other. Got it?" He asked and Norman, who gulped, gave a sheepish nod of his head.
With that, Ty smiled and leaned back slightly. "Good, because we are brothers, and I love you, obnoxiousness and all. After all, brothers stick together...even if one of them is a goody two shoes brat," he added slyly, a playful twinkle in his eyes to let Norman know that he was mostly joking.
Norman let out some giggles, feeling much better now that he talked to him. "Love you too, Ty," he said and moved to hug him.
"Woah there baby bro, aren't you gonna get sick? Y'know, the whole no touchy thing?" He asked, as after all, a hug was different than a jab to his clothed chest.
Norman shook his head. "Immune, don't worry, you'll be getting smothered in hugs until you're better, after all, I've got to hug you for me, Niko, Kai, and even Boston too," he reminded and Ty cracked a smile as he reached out to grab his younger brother in a hug, pulling him close. He had forgotten, how much he really needed this until now. So, Ty didn't let go, instead he just clung to his brother like his life depended on it.
"...I know you and your crazy team of scientists will make a cure or whatever, but...I...I guess I'm still nervous about it all, I don't want to die," he murmured out quietly so only Norman could hear. (Ives was just a divider away after all)
Norman tightened his grip on his older bother, closing his eyes and begging himself not to cry. "I know, and I promise, I promise that I won't let that happen. I will do whatever it takes to make a cure," he promised just as quietly, and despite everything, Ty did find comfort in that. Norman, he knew, was someone that would do what he promised, and if anyone was going to save him, he'd trust his brother to do it.
OOC Text
IC After the hug, that lasted quite awhile too, Norman pulled away, smiling at him. "I'll be sure to hug you again later, promise," he said and Ty sent him a grateful smile. Only one of the brothers could truly know how important that physical reassurance was, it had been what got them through the labs.
Ty nodded, smiling back. "Thanks, now, go smooth things over with your boyfriend," he ordered and both let out sort of laughs as Norman got up and moved over to the divider, taking a breath before he knocked-which frankly was a little awkward and sheepish in its own right, which of course, earned him a smug looking smile from his brother.
"Ives, is it alright if I come in there?" He asked, and after a dog like bark in return, Norman took that as a yes and moved to the end of the divider, pushing it out of way so he could enter Ives' little part of the room, closing the divider behind him. He wasn't sure how much could be heard from the divider, but he hoped there was enough that Ives had heard Norman explaining why to Ty. He didn't want to go over that again.
Ives was in his bed, eyes trained on the end of his bed, ears perking ever so slightly when Norman entered, however beyond that, he gave no signal to alert Norman that he knew he was there.
Norman gulped, clinging on to the divider. He wasn't ready for that.

OOC It's fine.
IC Billy grumbled slightly, muttering under her breath about doing it herself and darn that good kid, as she went and sat down, Boso going to sit by her. She pushed some of her dirtied blonde hair out of her face and looked over at Maverick. "Yeah, introduced him to it too. Taught that kid how to drive, which shoulda been his parents job," she remarked casually, perhaps slightly bitterly. Billy had not meant to take Beau under her wing, but he had been in desperate need for some parental guidance, and he had not been getting that at home, so Billy stepped up. Beau was almost like the son she hadn't ever had, not to mention, the only person she had met that had really given her a chance instead of judging her right away.
(Sorry! Good night guys!) Maverick nodded, looking down and mumbling something about him probably not even having parents soon, but he looked back up, blinking for a moment. "You certainly taught him well. Though he does keep persisting on speeding whenever he can," he said, a little bit of an edge to his voice, but not much, it would usually go unnoticed. "So...wait, how did you two meet, and get him into it?" He asked curiously, cause he didn't think that the conversation of illegal street racing just happens to come up in conversation.

OOC Morning!
IC Billy shrugged slightly. "Well, I was working a late shift at Starbucks, he came in, looking all lost and afraid, ordered some sort of frilly, fancy coffee that I don't remember, and went to go sit alone, still looking awful. It was late, he looked too young to be out and about on his own, in this part of town, and no offense to Beau or anything, but he did not look like the kind of teenager that would make it out on the streets right now, so, I took my break and went over to him. Told him what I just told you, and he explained that he was going through stuff, couldn't sleep, and just decided to take a walk," Billy paused to lean forward and stare at Maverick.
"Now, he clearly didn't come from around here. He was dressed all nice and had plenty of money with him. If I hadn't helped him out, I promise you that he would have been mugged or worse. Course he was oblivious to that. I don't know why he was out, because really, his family should have kept better tabs on him, and I still think that, considering what he has been able to do. Back when I was young, my family was a wreck and honest to g--, didn't care about me. I sure am hoping it isn't the same for him," she said, though it sounded almost like a warning. "Anyways, I tell him it's not safe and tell him to go home, he planned on walking, all the way from here to some nice part of the city, just walk, I couldn't believe it, he wouldn't make it to morning, so I offered to drive him. He accepted-which again, did no one teach this kid about stranger danger? I mean, he willingly got in a car with a stranger, you're lucky it was me," Billy commented with a roll of her eyes.
She leaned back in her chair. "Anyways, I dropped him off, he mentioned how nice the car looked and I told him that if he ever stopped by again, he could drive it. I meant it as a joke, but the very next day, guess who I found entering the coffee shop, late at night, when he shouldn't have been allowed out?" Billy questioned rhetorically. "Anyways, I agreed, realized he didn't know how to drive and offered to teach him. I also taught him some other important life lessons along the way and even some self defense, see, a few years ago, I taught self defense, met my first hybrid that way, actually. Good kid, weird but good. Anyways, it didn't take me long to realize he had a real talent for it, and let him know more about everything. He seemed pretty excited about racing, cause he likes going fast, so I told him he could give it a whirl, under my guidance though, so at least if he was going to do stupid and dangerous crap, I'd be able to keep an eye on him, since no one else was," she shot Maverick an accusing look. "That's the story at least."
Was Billy mad about it all? Yes, yes she was. In her eyes, Beau had faced neglect and though she didn't know his family, she knew enough to be ticked off by them. Who knows where Beau would be if she hadn't come along? Probably dead. They had a weirdly paternal like relationship that worked. He didn't mention the extent of his problems, and Billy would find a way to help him relax or forget about it. She figured that if he ever wanted, he could tell her everything. But if not, that was fine too. She hadn't asked to kind of adopt the kid, it just happened and now she was admittedly, a little protective over him, even to his family, who Billy wasn't sure she liked. Her family had been horrible, just her, her drunken mother and neglectful father, but she had definitely hoped that Beau had it better.

OOC: Morning!
Darn it Smore why is you have to write so much?XD Also should I have Mav try to save her? Obviously fail but try to take her to the hospital or something later when Beau's not there? Like the next day or something. Mostly for Beau's sake.
IC: Maverick could pick up the bitterness in every word she said. He didn't need to be attacked by her, he already knew how bad they did to look after him. "Interesting," he said, crossing his arm and looking down. He stayed that way for an couple seconds before looking up and over at Billy again. He checked just to make sure he couldn't hear Beau coming, before he spoke up, feeling he had to defend himself. "Look, we don't have a father and we basically don't have a mother. The only people who are able to look after him is me and my sister, and she's still younger then him anyway. There's only so much I can do as a brother. If I had known his walks take him out here I would've stopped it. The only way I knew he was racing was because I followed him and waited all night in what I could only assume as your garage," he said, being careful with what he was saying. He then looked down, listening again to make sure he wasn't coming. "The kid's way too trusting, he's gonna get into a lot of trouble one day because of it. He has...mental issues, predominantly with me, so it's rather difficult to keep my eye on him," he added. He was okay with saying that because he was vague, plus...he didn't think she'd ever get the chance to tell anyone else.

OOC Hi!
Also, lol, sorry, I had a lot of inspiration.
Might be a good idea, she's still pretty early on with it all, so saving her isn't impossible.
IC Billy glanced at him. "I see," she said, not sounding all that convinced. "For the record, that isn't just my garage, I share it with some other people, there's no where all those cars are mine," she commented, getting that out of the way before continuing. "Second, I'm sure you 'try' or something," again, she did not sound very convinced. "But from what I gather, you and your family have done a sh-- job, especially recently. He was doing good, better than before, then awhile ago, he comes to me, during my shift because he couldn't wait long enough for me to get home, sobbing about this and that," she started, voice lowering slightly. Beau had gone for a walk after the whole wolf...ordeal, it was pretty easy to tell where he went with all of this. "Said something about not being able to look at him, him who, I don't know, but I'm guessing one of his brothers. Then, he kept going on about how he failed, how horrible he was, and other stuff that I either forgot or couldn't understand, it was messy though," Billy stated.
Then she leaned forward and glared at him. "Listen, it sounds a lot like he's been through some stuff, and I've left it alone for now, but if I start thinking that there's some sort of neglect or abuse going on at home, I will try to get him out of there. Got it?" She questioned. Now, it was clear that Billy didn't know everything, and had come to different conclusions of her own, but she still stood by them.

OOC: How are ya?
Hehe I actually like it, this conversation is not going how I thought it would.XD
Okay awesome, we could have him come over tomorrow then?
IC: Maverick narrowed his eyes but didn't move. "Beau would never be harmed in any way in our family, ever. I had no hand in his...incident, because that 'him' he was referring to..." he sighed and looked down the hallway to make sure Beau hadn't heard, cause he raised him voice a little. Lowering it he continued. "It was me who he was talking about," he said. Sighing again, he looked at her, scowling, but he had a look of worry in his eyes. "You don't understand. What happened to him then..." he opened his mouth to try and think of how to explain it, but nothing came to mind. What his brother would have gone though was beyond what any words could explain. "His issues are sadly not fixable, and it's caused by himself. You just...There's simply no way for you to understand. What he's going through I fear will be with him his whole life and there's nothing you or I can do about it." He knew no better way to explain it, because well it was a confusing thing to try and explain.

OOC Sorry for poofing!
Im alright. You?
How'd you imagine it was gonna go?
That'll work.
IC Billy raised her brow. "Yeah, sorry if I don't exactly take your word for it. People say a lot of things to get out of a situation," she stated and sent him a glare. "All I'm saying right now, is that I've got my eye on you, more specifically, on Beau and what happens to him. One more slip up and I'm stepping in, that's it, you've been warned," she said and leaned back again.
A moment or so later, Beau walked back in, with three mugs of something that wasn't quite coffee, wasn't quite hot chocolate, and wasn't quite tea. "Here we go, one for Billy..." he trailed off as he put the mug down in front of her. "One for Mav..." he held out the other for his brother. "And one for me," his had a bit of whipped cream on top, Billy's did not as she didn't like it, and Maverick's had some as well, though not as much as Beau's.

OOC: It's fine! Sorry I spoofed too btw.
Good to hear! I'm pretty well thanks, just playing Minecraft with my bro.XD
I don't know actually, but I thought it would be friendlier.XD
Awesome then!
IC: Maverick opened his mouth to speak, but before he got the chance to Beau came back into the room. He was just going to say that he was fine with her keeping an eye on him, cause she wouldn't see anything. Putting on a smile again, he took his drink and took a sip from it. "Mmm, hat's really nice beau," he said, feigning the happiness in his voice, but his eyes still portrayed the emotions from his previous conversation with billy. Honestly, even with the argument they just had, he was okay with Billy, she was protective. At least he knew she wasn't going to bring any harm to Beau, and that he seemed to be sagfe with her. That did make him feel a little bit better to get rid of his suspicions.

OOC Cool.
Billy's a bit protective, in her mind, Beau's family hasn't been taking good care of him, Beau became friends with her during the time skip, and I think everyone kinda forgets that Beau was going through things at the time as well and didn't have anyone. Maverick had Tabby, Shiva didn't have anyone, not really, but at least Nanami was her friend, Joel had his friend Alvin, Val didn't seem to need anyone, and Beau didn't have anyone at all until Billy came around. (And honestly, they really did do a pretty bad job of watching him.) So I kinda get where she's coming from, y'know?
IC Beau smiled happily as he took a seat. "You're welcome. It's called Criu brew, it's really good, it's kind of like coffee, but not. Billy likes it, I like it better with creamer and whip cream," he explained as he took a sip out of his. He has heard talking while getting it ready, and even though he couldn't tell what they were saying, he at least knew that they were talking, and that was good enough for them.
Billy said her own thanks as she took hers, though other than that, she remained silent, having said her piece. However, Beau was still willing to talk. "I heard you guys talking," he started and Billy froze, she hadn't exactly wanted him to hear the conversation. "Not sure what you said, but I'm glad you guys are getting along," he explained, and Billy relaxed slightly. So he hasn't actually heard. That was probably for the best.

OOC: Yeah I can totally understand where she's coming from don't worry. I always do have a bit of trouble realising what happened to people during the skip. I really can see how she would be pissed off at his family, who from her point of view must sound like the worst.
IC: Maverick also froze and gulped as he mentioned him hearing them, but when he continued he let out a small breath of air and nodded. "Yeah, we were just talking about how you two met," he said with a smile. Well it wasn't a complete lie, they did mention that, but it was a rather brief part of their conversation. He took another sip from his drink. He was actually a little annoyed Beau came back in so soon, he had more to say. More about other things, not so much what they were previously talking about. Beau seemed to really like Billy, and he was kind of worried if she did have the disease and died, Beau would probably lose a big lifeline for him.

OOC Yeah, plus Billy doesn't know all the facts, she just knows what it looks like and from a different perspective it just doesn't look good at all.
IC "Oh, alright, that was a sort of a sad story," Beau admitted, looking down. It was the night that their dad had died, Beau wasn't able to sleep so he had gone walking around, ended up lost in a dangerous part of town, and found his way to a Starbucks. It wasn't really a good story, and he didn't like to think about it, even if he had met Billy and she had helped him out. "But I'm glad you helped it. Billy helped me out a lot," Beau explained, nodding his head in appreciation.

Maverick nodded, looking down for a moment. Maybe that wasn't the best topic to bring up, but that was the first thing that came to mind so that's what came out. "Anyways, Billy, Mav and I should probably leave soon. I wanted to make sure you're alright though," he explained, looking back to Billy, who gave a silent nod of understanding. "And don't worry, to answer your earlier question, I am going to the race later," he added.
Billy nodded again. "Good, it helps, doesn't it?" Beau nodded. "That's good then. Ugh, I may just head back to rest, this headache is getting worse. I'll still try to go though, gotta support you and all that," she said as she finished her drink and put it aside, resting her head back. "Hey, when you two go, can you let Bosco into the backyard?" She asked.
Beau quietly agreed, standing up. "Alright Billy, you go rest, Mav and I will head out. I'm sorry you feel sick though," he said as he stood up.

It would probably be fine. Finishing his...coffee thing he wiped his mouth and pushed himself off the wall. He looked over at Billy, blinking and nodding politely. "Well it was nice to meet you Billy, I hope to see you again," he said. He did mean it too, cause as much as he wasn't a fan of their conversation, she seemed like a nice, certainly protective person. Especially if he met her on other circumstances.

IC Beau glanced back at Maverick. "Come on, let's let her rest," he told him and looked back to Billy, smiling. "See you later, Billy," he promised as he headed out, making sure to go to the back door first and open it up. "Bosco! Come on boy!" He called for and the pit bull practically crashed into Beau as he shot forward, Beau knelt down to give the dog some attention, before Boso walked on out to the backyard and Beau stood back up.
He tidied up the house a little and made his way to the front door, waiting for Maverick as he opened the door.

OOC: Morning!
IC: Maverick nodded we followed him silently. He did open his mouth though to say a quick thanks when Beau held the door open for him. It was when he padded over and started to get in the car that he decided to break his own silence. "Billy seems nice. It's a shame she's sick," he mentioned, looking at his brother to try and see his reaction. Did? Yes he knew about the disease. Why hasn't it even crossed his mind that Billy might have it? Or has it crossed his kind and he was just hiding his concerns? For some reason Mav didn't think it was the second option.

OOC Hi Cloudy!
IC Beau frowned as he started towards the car. "Yeah, she doesn't usually get sick. Luckily this seems to mostly be some bad headaches. She might be getting a migraine, Billy mentioned that she gets those occasionally. I've never had one, but from what I gather, they're horrible," he explained, unlocking the car as he slid inside. It hadn't occurred to him that Billy might have the disease, sure it lingered in the back of his mind, but with everyone else he knew that was sick, it was so much easier to dismiss the idea that someone else might be.

IC: Maverick couldn't help but sigh as he slid into the back seat of the car. "What if..." he started, but very quickly stopped himself before he continued to say anything. There was no way he was going to suggest her having the disease, his brother just didn't need that to add onto his plate. Was there anything he could do to help? Maybe, maybe he could do something...

OOC Eh, slowly getting over it. How are you?
IC Beau glanced at him curiously for a moment, as if wondering what he was going to say. However he decided to drop it before even saying anything and just started up the car. "So, um," he cleared his throat. "Back in there, did you hear Billy and I talking about the race? Well that's tonight, we usually have some planned, others are on a whim. But anyways, I was wondering if you...if you wanted to come?" He asked rather tentatively as he drove through the slums of the city.

He did smile as he heard the...awkwardness in his voice, but he pretended that he hadn't heard and nodded happily. "Absolutely, I'd love to come see you in action," he said somewhat enthusiastically. Plus, that meant he could see the sort of crowd he was hanging around for himself. He chuckled slightly. IC Beau reddened slightly in embarrassment of the thought, but, he did want him to come, so he could see how it all went, and that Beau really could prove how good he was at driving. "Alright, just, don't be embarrassing," he told him. "We'll have to leave pretty late, around eleven at night, and we'll probably be gone awhile. But if you're alright with that, I'd really like to have you there," he admitted a little sheepishly. Beau had never said it out loud, nor had anyone else, but despite the whole wolf thing, Beau was almost certain he was looked down upon as the simple one. He could play the piano, woohoo. He was weird, he had weird, plain hobbies, he knew that. But this, this would be a chance to prove what he could do.

IC: Of course, obviously Maverick never thought of him like that, and neither did the rest of the family. If anything he thought his brother was awesome. Even with the piano, you can play great solo, and nearly every song has a piano. How many songs have a flute? Happily he nodded. "Yeah I'm more then happy to do that. I really want to see you race, it should be fun," he said happily. But what if...no, Shiva won't know surely. She's never done it before, so why tonight would she wake up and suddenly want to go visit her brothers? He then laughed. "Don't worry, I promise I won't be too embarrassing."
