IC The drive back had been quiet, other than the sound of the radio, and even that wasn't turned up very loud. Beau has focused on driving. His talk with Kai had been nice though, out of all of Norman's brothers, Kai was by far, the nicest. Nikolas was just rather...standoffish, and Ty, well, there was just something about Ty, the way he would act when Beau was around, it was a little off. So Kai was definitely the nicest. However, once he finally parked his car in the drive way of an older, shabby looking house, in a not-so-nice part of the city, Beau turned the car off. "We're here. You better come in, people aren't all that friendly out here," he explained without looking over at Maverick as he stepped out. There was a backyard, with a gate that lead to it, with a big old and rusted sign that said "Beware the dog" on it. Over all, it didn't look like the nicest place to live.

"Oh come on, picnics aren't that bad. You get to enjoy the outdoors while you eat lunch, I'd say that's a pretty nice experience." Loreto said to him the pointed ahead. "I think were we need to be is right up ahead so let's keep going." he said as he continued to walk.

OOC: Sorry!
IC: Maverick watched out the window, seeing as the streets just went from good, to bad to worse until they eventually got to what he would call the slums of the city. He didn't like the place, and when Beau said to come in with him he didn't hesitate for a second. His guess that he was meeting someone from the racing was all but confirmed by the look of the streets alone. Following right behind his brother, who certainly looked a lot more comfortable then he did, he frowned. "Who are we meeting again?" He asked quietly.

OOC Gotcha. Also, I was thinking that the first two could be a boy and a girl, with the girl being the one to last the day? (She could be named Daisy) then idk about the second, but I think we decided awhile back that the one that survived would be a boy, who you wanted to roleplay, right?
IC Amari shook her head. "No. Not really. Maybe some action movie, or something to make fun of, like Sharknado, or a documentary, anything really, I just, I'm not tired enough to sleep, but I don't feel up for moving," she explained, though it was a little hard to do so. She mostly just wanted Mason near her, and something on the tv to distract her from all of this new information. Then later, she would obviously have to call the SCC.
-
Hazel gave a nod of understanding. "I see. Well, here's just some advice from an old lady, but I think you should focus more on your own health, make sure to eat every meal, get a good amount of sleep, and find time during the day to do something relaxing," she told him. "Believe me, it makes a difference. Suddenly during the time when you are working, you'll be less stressed out, well rested, full, and have more energy to devote to work. I've tried to suggest this to a-" she paused for a brief moment. What was Lukas to her, exactly? No longer a worker, more than a friend, definitely not anything at all romantic-bleh. Almost, a familial bond? Though he was no child of hers. She only had three of those. "An associate of mine for ages, and he never listens." OoC :: words
IC :: "I suppose it would, just wish I had tried it a long time ago and got onto a regular schedule of doing such," Silas gave a small laugh. "Shame your associate doesn't though, it's good advice and worth it to improve health. Though I don't think I can say much in this instance, as I have a difficult time doing that myself.... obviously." He gave Hazel a small smile after speaking, as a quiet thanks if he hadn't already said it. Luckily the woman who woke him also had good advice, though Silas wasn't too sure at the moment if he'd e able to properly do it.

IC "Billy," Beau explained simply, getting right to the point as he walked up to the door and gave a few swift knocks, instantly a loud barking filled the house, clearly coming from a rather big dog, and after a few moments, a raspy voice yelled out for them to come in. Beau did as he was told, opening the unlocked door to let them both in, and once the door was open, he was first greeted by a large, brown and white pit bull with light blue eyes, snarling at them. Beau didn't really seem phased though, as he kneeled down and held out his arms. "Hey Bosco!" He greeted in a cheerful voice.
The dog, Bosco, stopped snarling and instead, wagged his tail, trotting on over to Beau to give him a slobbery lick, which in turn, made Beau laugh. "Yeah, I missed you too," he told Bosco, petting him behind the ears. "Mav, this is Bosco, Billy's dog. He's a sweetheart," Beau explained, casting a quick glance up at Maverick while he pet the dog.

IC Hazel offered him a somewhat unsure smile in return. She still wasn't quite used to well, being back, and her condition was getting worse. It was bad, but at least she was trying. "Well, even if you aren't in the habit of it, I really just recommend that you start, or at least start with one of the things," she suggested. "First would be sleep, in my opinion, but I suppose it might be easier of someone like you to start with just eating properly and not relying on coffee so much. It'll only take you so far," Hazel explained, gesturing towards the cafe.

OoC :: I'm up for hearing it.
IC :: "Ah drat, no more coffee? How will I live life? Wait... Dont tell me, thus meams no more junk food as well?" Silas joked, "But it makes sense, sadly. I previously tried to go on a no coffee, well no caffeine break a while back, kinda failed, but hey, whats wrong with trying again? Heh... Maybe this time I will manage to succeed in adapting a healthier life style. Arw you a health trainer or something of the sort? Or do you just know a lot about health benefits and actions to make life better?"

OOC Well, it's just a sort of idea, but basically, I have always loved the idea of doing a reverse bad guy to good guy thing. Like, you start out with a good character, who slowly just snaps more and more until they are the villain, and I would kinda really like to play around with this idea here. (Only problem is that I don't really think I have any characters I could use for that. Well, I mean, I have one, but I'm hesitant to do that to them.)
As a side note, I was re-reading stuff, and I've pretty much skimmed most of the role play now, and I just finished Tessa's plot and dang, Hazel was cool when she talked to Jane.
IC Hazel let out a slight laugh. "Oh, I'm not saying no coffee, what I'm suggesting is that you should have less coffee," she explained, folding her arms. "There's nothing wrong with some coffee now and then, but as soon as you start surviving off of that, we have a problem," Hazel told him, pausing for a moment as a searing pain shot through her arm and she withheld a small gasp of pain.

OoC :: I completely understand, actually, recently I was thinking abou the same thing because of a song a friend showed me. (Am I right in ghessing Norman?)
Thats really awesome.
IC :: "I hear you-" Silas said, pausing afterwards to look ober her concerned. Some th ing for a moment seemed off. He waited a few moments before asking, "Everything okay?" He wasnt exactly sure what, if anything, was wrong, but it was a gut instinct he had with her slight pause. And then he figured it would be better to make sjre she was okay anyway.

OOC Yeah, I think it would be really interesting. (Nah not Norman, I've actually thought it over, he doesn't have it in him to go all the way bad, too much of a hero, and in the end, he really is good person with a really good heart. I've given it quite a bit of thought) I don't actually know who I would use, because I couldn't do that to any of my brothers, and I can't do it to my ex A.I group either, and I honestly just dunno.
IC Hazel glanced from her arm, back to Silas. "Oh, yes. I'm fine, I just have carpal tunnel in this arm, it acts up occasionally and then it's really not fun," Hazel explained, lifting her arm up for him to see. She was actually telling the truth, it just hurt a lot more than normal carpal tunnel. Hazel had a fairly decent pain tolerance. "I'm surprised you caught that though, I thought I hid it better."

OOC: Morning! Also I like that idea Smoreo!
IC: Maverick jumped as the barking started, and stayed behind his brother as he saw what was making the noise. However when Beau started to pet it and introduced it to him he guessed he should be polite, so he carefully bent down and reached forward to gently touch the cheerful albeit scary looking dog.

OoC :: Okay, I am surprised, but that makes sense. But I see why it is difficult for you to pick a character that turns bad.
IC :: "Ouch," Silas winced a little as she told him her issue in her arm, must suck for her. "You just paused a little and- well, it seemed off from the conversation we've had so far. I think you hid it well, I mean, I didn't see you flinch or anything of the sort, just, my dad had something similar, I mean, he was way worse at hiding it, but it was still something I learned to notice.... Kinda, if that makes any sense?"

OOC Yeah, so now I just gotta figure out if I should test it out here or if I just couldn't do that to any of my characters.
But yeah, definitely not Norman, if anything else.
IC Beau cupped the dog's face on his hands and cooed at him. "You're such a good boy, Bosco," he told him, pulling the dog into a quick hug before standing up. He looked around, there was no sight of Billy, which probably meant she was in the back room. "Come on Mav, Billy's this way," Beau said as he started off. "Billy! It's me, Beau, I heard you were sick," he called out to her, finally stopping once he had reach the back room to find Billy, lying down on the couch, the lights off and a bottle of gater aid on the coffee table.
Billy blinked and looked over at him. "Ah, hey Beau," she greeted, getting up into a sitting position. "Yeah, but its more like a head cold. D--- my head hurts though," she explained, shaking her head a little-which really only made it worse. "Who's your friend here?" She asked, gesturing over to Maverick.
Beau glanced back at his brother for a moment. "Oh, this is my brother, Maverick. We were out and about and I couldn't find a time to come back later, so he's with me," Beau explained casually. "Maverick, this is my friend, Billy," he added, introducing the two of them as Bosco trotted back into the room.
-
Hazel nodded in understanding. "It's a pain, and it makes writing hard. But I'm glad I was at least somewhat good at hiding it, I don't really want everyone knowing. I doubt most people would care, but after so long, I guess I've sort of grown used to keeping things to myself," Hazel confessed simply. Though there was more to it than that. She had grown used to anything being a weakness that could be used against her, she needed to keep herself proper and restrained because of it.

OoC :: Sorry for poofing.
But yeah, I get that, I hope you find a character to do that with though!
IC :: "I can kinda understand. Don't want it to be seen as a weakness I guess? Well, it also getting in the way in general and being able to control your reaction to its pain helps as well. Though, you're not alone, i think a lot of people would rather keep something like that from strangers, or hell, even people they know," Silas said, looking at her hand with sympathetic eyes. It must suck being injured because of something like that.

OOC Yeah, idk, it just seems like a fun thing to do.
IC Hazel was about to respond, agree with him on that count, when her phone buzzed. "Ah, excuse me for a second," she said as she pulled it out, taking a few steps away so she could answer the call. "Hello? Ah, hello Lukas-wait, slow down, mhmm, mhmm, mhm-wait, what?" Hazel tightened her grip on her phone. "Right, I'll be there as soon as I can-" Hazel paused for a second. "Where am I going, exactly?" She waited for Lukas to give her directions, promising to send a text as well, then they said goodbye.
Hazel sighed and pocketed her phone again, looking over to Silas for a moment as she walked over. "I hate to cut this short, however apparently I have to go stop my son from being an idiot." After discovering quite a few interesting things that still were processing for her.

IC :: Silas just ended up listening to her side of the conversation with a small smile, he found it a little amusing if anything. IC Hazel laughed just slightly and a little bitterly. "Oh, I don't know if I'll actually be able to stop him, but I should at least try. I love my children, but sometimes they aren't exactly the brightest," she explained. "Well, I have to go, but it was nice talking to you, and I do hope you take at least some of my advice," Hazel told him, nodding her head to him slightly before she walked off. She was still processing what Lukas had told her, and he hadn't even told her everything. However Hazel now, was very curious as to what her son and her kind of adopted son have been up to.
