Nikolas, who was terrible at lying, acting, or anything that would have helped him get out of this situation, tried so anyways. "Heh, of course I'm allowed to get up, would I really disobey my own brother just to help out and not feel utterly useless?" He asked hurriedly, wincing in pain from the laughter.

Feray continued following, although slightly behind. She looked ahead, anxious for what was about to happen, but she felt prepared for what they were able to do. She prepared herself to soon split off from Ty and Toby.

Kit looked around at the field of onions. "I'm not sure if I'd like them, either, but food is food, and if we run low of anything else, at least we'd have onions." He then started to harvest more of the onions.

"You aren't useless. You're injured, there is a difference." Ben said. An injured person was in a way a type of moral support- nobody wants to end up injured. It may have been flawed thinking, but it made sense to the bear nonetheless. A useless person did absolutely nothing- they didn't even try to cheer up the people working.

Cora hissed something, and Soot nodded slowly. "Me too, I'm afraid," he replied. They were both hungry. Perhaps he should check on the food in the main storage area, while Cora hunted. "What do you think?" he asked her after mentioning his idea. His snake friend gave a slight nod, but hissed something else. "Yah, you're probably right. There might be something for you to eat by the storage area," the black haired hybrid responded with a slight chuckle.

River shrugged, and bent down to help. Soon though, she was really wishing for a nice soothing swim. Picking onions was more work than it seemed. Realizing her arms were full, she looked to Kit sheepishly. "Did you's bring baskets?"

Norman walked a little further. "Maybe they're just further back?" He suggested and took a breath. "Hello?" He asked loudly, his voice echoing slightly. He could be very loud when need be.

Ty stopped once they approached an area full of supplies. "Alright, time to split up into our groups.."

Nikolas made a face but lied back down. Looking down, not really wanting to be there. "I feel useless."

Soot made his way over to the storage area, he could see it now. It seemed someone else was there. Maybe they were hungry too. Wait a moment⦠As he got closer, he realized they weren't from Team Perseverance! Ducking low, he hid behind a small pile of wood. What were they up to..?

''Hello?'' He called out again, as he stepped forward. He looked around the camp. ''They either must be hiding for an ambush, or they probably went south to get some more supplies from the village.'' He said, bringing up ideas of what could have happened.

Feray nodded and looked towards the main supply area. She then began walking in a different direction than the other two, hoping that she'll be able to get at the supplies at a different angle. Before rushing to the supplies, however, she listened and waited, trying to find an opportunity to run for them. However, she paused for a moment, listening and sniffing the air. Someone else was there.

"I, uh," Kit looked around, not really having a basket, and he tried to think quickly what would work. "Well, I seemed to forgot about that." He sighed and tried to see if there was anything around that would make a makeshift basket.

Ty headed in and started to search for supplies that could work well as replacements for the ones that had burned.

Nikolas looked up and sent him a small smile. "At least you're still more useful than me, you're even helping to take care of me...I am doing nothing," Nikolas explained, glaring down at his broken ribs again. If Boo wasn't already dead, Nikolas would surely kill him for this.

Norman breathed out in frustration. "Maybe we should head back?" He asked, glancing up at Indigo to see what his older brother thought they should do. "Unless you think we should stay and wait," he added, although he wasn't so sure about that option.

Growling, Soot got up from his hiding spot and strolled to the entrance of the storage area. The first person he spotted was Ty. "And what do you think you're doing?!" Soot demanded, Cora hissing to back up his demand.

Nikolas decide to drop it. "Ty would have been without me...all the others are, but I can't see you aren't going to quit until I agree, so we'll just say that I agree," he said quietly and looked up at the bear hybrid. "Could you pass the water?" He asked, feeling a little thirsty.

Ty turned around, he wasn't about to hide. "What am I doing here? I'm taking back something that you took from us!" He explained and moved forward. "Fire, wow, that's real peaceful," he said sarcastically. "Look, if you just forget you saw anything, this would be fine, okay?"

Norman agreed, actually a little relieved to head back. He wasn't sure what he would do or say if they had to talk to either Ty or Nikolas.

Feray paused for a moment, her ears flicking as she heard that one of them seemed to be found. All she know was that it wasn't her or her partner, so she slowly tried to make her move as it seemed like whoever was there was the only one there from Team Perseverance. Hopefully they'd be too distracted to notice her. The mouse hybrid slowly and cautiously tried to make her way to the supply pile.

"Well, if we wanted to put the time into it, its possible we could make one out of grass," Kit thought for a moment. He continued looking around. "Maybe we could make one out of leaves and maybe use grass to tie to together? I don't know how durable it would be though."

"Excuse me?! I'm not going to walk away from this!" Wiping his arm, he gathered a wad of slime in his hand. Dipping it into a bucket of water, the slime expanded into a large blob of hanging sticky goo. Cora slid off from his shoulders, and Soot raced forwards, swinging his clean fist right at Ty's face.
