Kid frowned a little at the pillar of fire. He had no desire to fight anyone who could do that. He knew his limits. He turned to look at Ran, who looked like she was annoyed with him. Was that anything new? 
What? he mouthed in her direction, still with that smile. 
Turning back to Masaki he said, "I don't have any powers that you could learn from and I wouldn't say that any 'moves' I do can be copied well."
He waved one hand a little and suddenly he was holding a deck of cards. With another wave of his hand he tossed the cards into the air, where they appeared to hang in mid-air. 
"Magic tricks are my specialty," he said. 

Kid's grin deepened. "That's because it's not the same type of magic. It's illusion, a lie if your the type of person to think that way." He held out a hand and all the cards fell into a organized pile on his palm. In order, from King to Ace. Once the Ace of hearts had landed on the top, Kid pressed both of his hands together, with the deck in between. When he opened his hands again, they were empty. "If I told you how it was done, it would mean you could never see that trick again."

"Rather sad, that," said Kid, looking a little into the distance. Imagine never seeing a magic trick. He turned his attention back to Masaki. "Actually, I've seen magic before. Including seeing someone summon fire from thin air."
Magic existed in his world, but it was only possessed my sorceresses. Witches. His classmate was a practitioner of Red Magic, which Katio had witnessed first hand.

"Most of that went over my head," admitted Katio, eyebrow rising. "But I don't really think it's necessary for me to know, however."
He shrugged, eyes sparkling. "But I am sure there are things from where I am that you will never fathom either."

Garry had just been standing there quietly. All of these people were much more interesting than him. One was good at martial arts, one at summoning fire, and the other at magic tricks. All he could do was solve a bunch of nonsense puzzles in a museum. He shoved his hands into his jackets pockets with a soft sigh, watching everyone. "While I would like to stay and chat all day and see more magic, can we please get going?"

"I would" Masaki said with an even wider smile "And I can show you how to use a ninjutsu attack without much chakra." He said with a hopeful look on his face

"Thanks" Masaki said "I mean where I'm from just about everyone can use some form of ninjutsu. The only rare one is Sage jutsu which I only know one technique for which I actually created myself. Oh I have an idea! Anyone want to play a little game while we walk?" He asked excitedly

Garry felt a little better about this and the young man looked between the two, watchinthe magic trick as Masaki spoke. "Ninjutsu? Is that similar self-defense?" He asked, clearly not knowing that terminology. He blinked, looking up from the magic trick with a nod of approval. "Hm, yeah I'll play a game, too."

(Hey, I'm gonna be on in the morning and try to be on more in general. I've been playing Fire Emblem 7 all day and it is a good game. So, yeah.)

He raised a brow of slight encouragement.
"But-" She paused, waving an aggressive finger, "Leave me out of it" She leaned right up to Kid for a whisper, "Especially my dry cleaning!" She threatened quietly.
Of course she knew about that incident, Shinichi called at a later time and told her what Kid did for the Black Pearl, on the cruise ship. She also recalled Kid playing Sera, but also used her clothes. Or the time he used Sonoko's outfits to fool Makoto.

"Go ahead" Masaki said "If you are going to do anything physical and you hit a clone, it will disappear in a puff of smoke. But the real body doesn't"
