Savannah sends the universal "We have to talk" text. He's worrying basically the entire case. On ride home {12/15 hours later} he texts her back saying he can't wait to see her. She ask him to go get ice cream, he says sure, but he brought up the talk again, she says she doesn't want to talk about it right now. She ask him just get groceries with an xoxo message, he goes to to store, buys stuff and calls her. She drops the hint that "the talk" is something good. He doesn't realize he's been drugged. He's kidnapped while on the phone w/ Savanna. He's taken to a remote location and is tortured. he dissociates himself from the scene as a means of coping w/ the pain they're about to inflict. He goes to his happy place which is Savannah's and his house. He enters the house and goes "hello? hello? sweetheart?" and kids come running down the stairs {he doesn't have kids} and they interact, giving him a drawing. Savannah tells him he's "late for dinner again" and he goes on this rant about how much he loves her. Since the tortures aren't getting a response from him b/c he's in his happy place basically they cut him loose and began to strip him to try a different torture technique, but they made a hug mistake b/c Morgan comes to reality and Morgan shoots one guy before holing up in the room. But they think he went in the bathroom. He kills those two guys. He's badly injured and passes out in his happy place. He figures out Savannah is pregnant. One of the tortures isn't dead {"torturer c"}, but is fatally wounded. Torturer C calls for backup. Morgan realizes he has a phone. Morgan is like half-dead right now. Tortuerer C swallows the sim card to keep Morgan from calling Hotch and his team. Morgan kills him and digs the sim card out, but the phone is password protected. Somehow he redials the number Torturer C uses to call back up, Meanwhile Garcia who is computer smart puts a watchline or something out for the phone, so if the phone turns on, she'll know. She gets a notification and Gracia taps into the phone call. Hotch and the team don't know if he's dead yet. The line connects and the guy on the other end is a bad guy {torturer a}. He asked if Torturer C is there, He then realizes Morgan. Hotch and his team know where Morgan is through tracing the phone. Torturer A arrives first and beats up Morgan and stabs his hand into the table. Reid silently watches in till Morgan realizes he's there. Torturer A says killig Morgan was an expensive job, but for killing his friends he'll do it for free. Morgan makes snarky reply saying "Not today" and Reid kills Torturer A. Morgan is put in an ambulance and flat lines. He's resuscitated. Savannah is sleeping, waiting for him as well as Garcia. He ask Garcia how long he's been out, she replied 3 days and then leaves. Savannah wakes up. He apologizes and she asked what for. He replies "for being late to dinner" and he gives her the same rant he gave her while in his happy place and tells her he'll never miss a dinner again & he'll always be there for her and their son. She ask how he knew and says that she "doesn't know if it's a boy, it could be a girl." He proposes in the hospital bed, she says yes. He takes 6 month leave, comes back. Savannah is shot outside the hospital she works while talking to Morgan, and the baby might not make it. He's angry and pursues the case even after being removed from working the case by Hotch. Shooter "Chazz" leaves Morgan a note and Morgan knows what it means. It means Chazz rented one of the houses Morgan built. Morgan refuses to tell his team and Morgan goes after Chazz alone. Morgan had arrested Chazzs son 18 months ago and the son was killed in prison. Chazz blames Morgan for his sons death. Morgan is taken hostage, and Chazz tells Morgan if his people doesn't hear from him every 5 minutes. his people will start killing and "they know who to kill first". He uses a landline to make these calls. Morgan becomes compliant. Chazz forces Morgan to be on the line w/ Hotch and his team while Chazz is playing russian roulette. Morgan has a 2/6 chance of getting shot. Morgan, after being held captive for 40 minutes or so he realizes the house he built doesn't have a land line. A shot is heard and the team is calmly freaking out and the phone call cuts out. He disarms Chazz and tries to kill him but can't bring himself to. Hotch and the team arrives and arrest Chazz, relieved to see Morgan alive. Morgan goes to the hospital. They had to give Savannah a emergency premature c-section at 33 weeks. It's a boy and they both survive. Hotch urges Morgan to take some time off. Morgan informs Hotch he's quitting. Garcia is found packing some of his things. He says good-bye to Garcia and Garcia has been begging to be god-mother for 6 months. It's never confirmed she becomes the godmother. Reid watches Morgan say goodbye to other team member "JJ", but walks away. Morgan follows Reid and offers to show Reid pictures of his son. It is then revealed he named his son "Henry Spencer Morgan" the Spencer part being after Reid and that Reid is a little brother to him. Reid, although upset he's leaving, says he's happy for Morgan and they hug. Morgan gathers his things and prepares to leave while Hotch and the team review a case. Reid looks up and sees Morgan. He nodds in goodbye and Morgan does the same and then leaves with a voiceover of Morgan reading a quote.
