Yeah, i love him to death But i have watched him change over the past few weeks And he is not the man he once was I blame myself for the way he's become But i know that i can't have that much responsibility for someone, right?? I mean this whole thing has turned my unhealthy thinking into something entirely worse And sometimes you've gotta do it alone Like i hate being alone but i know i gotta if it doesnt get better I mean before i entered this relationship i was doing better than i'd ever done before I had recently got out of a treatment center and was on my road to recovery with my mental illnesses. I was forced to move out before i was ready, but i went to live with my former partner and things were okay then But i let myself be stolen away from that partner by my current boyfriend And now i look back and realize i should have stayed with them because i was doing so much better with them and the support of their family Because my boyfriends current family can be kind of insensitive and too quick to tease even with some really serious stuff :/ And i dont think they're understanding enough about my over sensitivity.  I really wish i'd just stayed with my old partner they treated me so well and i just took a dump all over them Ugh Now things are just a mess And well same, especially since my serious relationship irl is either going to end soon or needs serious help to continue :/ Yes, don't blame yourself. You're not responsible for someone changing who they once were; that's their fault. Don't feel guilty for that. You might have had an influence but ultimately they're the ones who make the decision to change. I understand though. I hate being alone too but sometimes if being with someone makes it worse, you just have to deal with it until something better comes. You might still love him and you might continue to but if it's getting worse, it's better to get out of it now before it's too late. And sometimes mistakes are made but you learn from it so you don't do the same thing again. Like I've said before, just keep moving forward. Worry about the future because you can't change the past. You can still save yourself from it. |
