"If yours are extra bad, then how about I take yours instead!" Pinepaw argued, playfully cuffing Firepaw across the ears in retaliation. "And there's no way I'm letting you get there faster, I'm doing that!" Involuntarily, Pinepaw yawned as well, but shook his head, suddenly coming up with a way to make this even more fun. "Hey, I bet I can get there faster than Swanstar!"

Firepaw gasps at his bravery. "But you don't even know how to get there!" He bumps him on the nose with his paw, and backs up, getting to get him to come forward. "But I'm wayfaster than Swanstar! Look at these long legs!" He shows off his lean, long legs, with barely and muscle on them. "I should have been called Spiderpaw! And you should have been Slowpaw!" He bumps him again, backing up once more.

Ravenheart smiles, and says, "You'd be a great Medicine cat, Lionkit. You have the best curiosity for it, and you seem eager to know more!" She smiles at the thought of an apprentice of her own, and smiles widely. She unrolled the first bundle she made, and said, "Try to make this. Go ahead, I'll help you, honey." 

Lunaflowers' eyes widen slightly and says, "Lionkit? He seems like a great warrior. He was always talking about it with Spottedkit, but I mean if it's what he wants." She thinks about what Swiftcloud said, and says, "Any idea why she needs to speak with Starclan? I'm trying to think right now..." She lightly pondered about it, and thinks harder. Well... Maybe she saw something on the border? I'm clueless. Let alone exhausted. She lets out a huge yawn, and looks around camp.

Pinepaw got back in Firepaw's face, playfully knocking into him. "Sure, you've got longer legs, but I'm still bigger than you, and stronger!" While it as true that Pinepaw certainly was a bigger cat, he was just stockier than Firepaw. "If you want to be Spiderpaw, then I should have been Strongpaw! And then you'd be Weakpaw! Or Weakkit!"

Swanstar purred at Palepaw, "Don't apologize for being curious, little one. And to answer your question, they aren't as bad as everyone says, the taste will leave after a bit, and you won't feel any hunger." She nudged her apprentice with a paw, "Were the others making you uncomfortable? You can sleep in here until we leave if you'd like." Swanstar understood how her apprentice was and always tried to help her in the best way she could, if she were a mother, sometimes she imagined Palepaw being her own, and she cared for the she-cat very much.

Lionkit grew excited and looked at the herbs, he sniffed them each, and committed the scent and names to memory, "I would? You wouldn't mind having me as an apprentice? And I think I have this right, burnet and chamomile are for strength right? And ragweed for energy... and sorrel to help with the hunger? And I'm guessing the heather flower works like the blueberries because it smells so sweet!" He looked up at Ravenheart, waiting for her to let him know if he was wrong.

Swiftcloud sighed, "She smelled like dog when she came in... And it seems like Ravenheart is ready to take on an apprentice." He turned to Lunaflower, "What's going on with Embersong and Sunfall? It seemed like they were flirting with each other."

Palepaw licked at her chest fur in embarrassment. She was glad to get an answer to her question even if it was such a silly one. It was a little silly, but she had to admit she preferred Swanstar over her own parents. They weren't awful, but after her brother Ashkit's death, they constantly tried to push her to be more social, something that just made her uncomfortable. Before all that, she'd simply play with Ashkit. They always had fun together, although him being deaf certainly did make things difficult. But still...it was best not to dwell on such things. At least Swanstar didn't force her to be something she wasn't. She accepted the older cat's offer, curling up where she had been sitting. "Thank you Swanstar" She told her, following in a much quieter voice with "You're the best mentor"

"Tiredpaw? That should be you! You yawned first!" Pinepaw argued, rushing back to the apprentice's den as well. Feeling a little devious, he decided that it'd be easier to fall asleep first if Firepaw couldn't sleep yet. Instead of going to his own nest, he grabbed the moss under Firepaw with his teeth, trying to drag it out from under him.

(Sorry for the little thing with Palepaw, I just wanted to come up with some sort of background for her)

Swanstar curled her tail around her apprentice and looked down at her, "Thank you Palepaw." She murmured, "Now sleep, we'll be leaving in a while."

Swiftcloud sighed, "I'm alright, just trying to figure things out." He glanced at Lunaflower, "With the way those two are going, we might have some kits come new-leaf." He sat down and swiped a paw over his ear, "Maybe then I can get an apprentice."

Lionkit looked at Ravenheart wide-eyed, he was surprised, he had always thought he would be a warrior, but now that he thought about it, fighting wasn't all he wanted to do, he wanted to help cats. "I wanna ask Swanstar before she leaves, I'm almost six moons old and I should be old enough when she gets back!" Then his ears drooped, "What about Spottedkit... We were gonna be warriors together and I don't wanna disappoint her..."

"Gladly!" Pinepaw shrugged, curling himself up in the moss and feathers. "I'll beat ya later Snoozekit!" He told the other apprentice before closing his eyes.

"Okay Swanstar..." Palepaw mumbled as she closed her eyes, wondering one more time what she had done to deserve such an amazing mentor.

Hollowsky got himself comfortable in the warriors den, thinking about what it'll be like to go to the moonstone once again.

(I'm back)

Swiftcloud hums thoughtfully, "I'm not sure, I just know that the only cat who has ever been with him is Swanstar, but that was mainly because she was very sickly when she was young, and he helped her as she grew to become stronger."

Swanstar looked up, "Of course Ravenheart, can I ask why?"

Lionkit sat down after Ravenheart left, Being a warrior would let me fight and have someone to love but, I love my clan,
and I want to help them, I can still learn fighting moves if there is ever a time I truly need to be in battle... Lionkit decided then and there that he wanted to be a medicine cat.

Embersong padded slowly into the warriors den, and made her way to Sunfall's nest, "Sunfall, c-could I maybe r-rest with you?" She asked, slightly scared.

(OHHH I GET IT, it's because of Valentine's Day, 2/14))

Ravenheart explains herself, "Well, Lionkit has reached out to me, that he would like to become a medicine cat apprentice. I want to ask starclan, or just see what they have to say to me, as for I don't know if I can appoint him myself." She sat down, and flicked her tail.

Sunfall looks up, weary-eyed. He doesn't question her, and nods his head. He scoots over in his nest, making room for Embersong. Though it was dark, he was trying to hold back a smile, though he was slightly worried at the tone of her voice.

Lunaflower frowns slightly when he mentioned Swanstar, and says, "You can probably tell, but I have a major crush on him... Everytime I attempt to attempt to talk to him, I stutter, and I loose my voice... Her voice trails off, surprised at herself at to how much she had shared with Swiftcloud. It was probably because she bottles up her feelings, and she trusted him. She looks up at the moon and says, "I can't define my words to get what I'm trying to say. I don't know what happens to me, honestly."

Swiftcloud nodded, "It's not as noticeable as you think. Look at it this way Lunaflower, don't get jealous over Swanstar, they've been friends for the longest time, and while I can't say whether or not they might become something more, you shouldn't beat yourself up over it. If Sandyclaw hasn't shown any interest in you so far, then maybe he's not the cat you're meant to be with. You should try to be happy, and if Sandyclaw doesn't realize what a great she-cat you are, then its his loss. Find someone else that makes you happy." Swiftcloud looked up to the moon as well, "I can honestly day it's worth it to focus your energy on someone else, before it's too late."

Swanstar blinked in surprise, she hadn't expected Lionkit to change his mind so quickly, "Of course, Lionkit would make an excellent apprentice for you. "

Embersong tucked herself next to Sunfall and looked up at him, "Thank you," She murmured before licking his cheek and tucking her nose into his chest, falling asleep fairly quickly.

Ravenheart dips her head, and before she leaves, she says to Palepaw, "I'll put extra Heather Flower in your bundle." She smiles, and walks back to her den, finding Lionkit. "Lionkit, you can rest in that extra nest, if you'd like, or you could go back to the nursery. Either one." She heads to her nest, and wraps her tail around herself. "Goodnight, Lionkit." She smiles. Maybe he'll make up his mind... Maybe he already did!

Lunaflower smiles, and presses her nose to his cheek, "Thank you, Swiftcloud, and, Goodnight." She glares up at the moon, and walks over to her nest, tail high from the talk. She grins when she sees Embersong and Sunfall. I admit it, they are pretty cute... She curls up in her nest, leaving her day on a fairly good note.

Sunfalls' smiles, and licks her forehead, and whispers to her sleeping body, "Goodnight." He rests his head atop of hers, and wraps his tail around as much has he could. Thank you Starclan, for this opportunity you bestow upon me. He falls asleep soundly after that.

(For when they go to the Moonstone, what should be their dreams? I don't have a clue for Sunfall and Firepaw... Ravenheart; I have a small idea.)
