Haha there's been some hints as to who the mystery parents are  And Firepaw will reveal that by the next chapter or so. Right now she's not exactly feeling up to talking much lol. As for Sandstar's murder, that is revealed near the end of Gathering Storm. His death is actually not too surprising, once I finish Echostar's SE--The Downfall, you'll see why. It goes deeper into why he was killed. |

aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, save for one death, that's a pretty good reunion. i'm so glad they made it back okay, and i'm really liking pinepaw a lot. she's such a cutie. one thing, though: how come it took so many cats to get rid of the fox? the average fox isn't much bigger than the average cat. they're longer and heavier, but not by so much that it takes that many cats to take it down, and even only then by a surprise attack on shadowpaw's part. two or three full-grown cats against a single fox should have a pretty decent chance of driving it off or killing it, provided they're sufficiently motivated. Thanks! I enjoyed writing the scene when they returned c: And honestly there's no specific reason lol. I just went by the typical amount of cats they use in the actual books lol. Plus since patrols usually contain 3-6 cats, I just went with Foxchaser's patrol hearing the ambush and coming to help. |
