Shadowblossom's eyes lit up at the mention of their youngest kin. "I would love to." she chuckled lightly "Knowing our babies have babies... makes me feel very old." Flicking her tail, she looked towards the warriors den. "I wonder if Darktail has his eyes on any she-cat."

Eyes on a she-cat?” Yarrowcloud chuckled, a tease in his voice as he tried not to think about their daughters. Instead, he thought of his son, so stalwart and hardworking. He never seemed interested in such a thing. Had he missed it? “Has he told you about any cat he fancies?” |

Although I did see him having a conversation with Midnightstream the other day. They went hunting together, but perhaps I am just seeing something that is not there."

I just hope he is happy, I think he has been rather quiet and sad since he found Petalsky." she mewed, trailing off at the end. Her heart hurt as she thought about their daughter, lost in the flames. She had so much life ahead of her, so much potential as a young warrior. She hoped she was watching down on them in Starclan, guiding their paws.

There was no way that we could have known she was out alone and would be trapped. I wish he was not the one who found her yes, but I'm glad we got to bury her."

For all they did for Featherfoot, and saving him from death, I can’t ever forget that...I sure hope that the fire didn’t reach them.” Yarrowcloud fretted, thinking of the two loners he had come to see as dear to him as family. Featherfoot would be devastated, if anything happened to them. |

Seafoam let out a sigh of relief, dipping her head to the leader. "Thank you Lightningstar. It has been an honor to serve as a warrior under your leadership for so many moons." Shadowblossom shook her head, "You pulled me from a dark place too Yarrowcloud. We could have both been lost to the darkness without each other. Falling in love with you was the greatest thing I've ever done." Blizzardstorm nodded, looking just as worried as the queen. "Trust me, I am too. But I would rather spend every part of the day out hunting than letting them starve." Flamesky purred, "Thank you, I think we can relax for a little bit longer though, I've been on my paws since sunrise." |

Shadowblossom hummed in agreement. “I’m sure the two legs have some contraption to stop fires from spreading. You know how they are with all those devices. The twolegplace is far more open as well. They could probably see the fire coming for fox-lengths away.”

I’m going to split Ghostscreech for now lol)
Ghostscreech weaved another branch of brambles into the camp wall, making another hole disappear as he did. Moving over to the next portion, he picked up some more of the brambles and started putting it into the wall.

Frostmoon's eyes flickered over towards Ghostscreech, a small hop in her step as she padded towards him. "Hey." She called, blinking curiously. "Do you want any help? I can do anything you need." She offered, always one to volunteer for a job if needed, and the thought of talking to him had started to become something she looked forward to.

Ghostscreech looked up at Frostmoon’s voice and gave a nod, “Sure.” He said, moving over to give her some room, “We can get this done faster with the two of us. Here, I’ll hold this part up and you can weave those brambles into this spot here.” He added, flicking his tail at the large hole in the wall.

"Sounds like a plan, oh grand deputy." Frostmoon purred with a toss of her eyes, though she slipped into place right besides the deputy and began to weave her sections into the den. "So. How have things been going? Were the other deputies a bother at the gathering, or did you get along well with them?"

Ghostscreech gave her a slight grin and held up the top part of the hole while she got to work on weaving in the brambles, “They were alright. Didn’t give me too much trouble.” He said, flicking his tail as he thought about the gathering, “I feel like I had to explain the whole story so many times though. Maybe I should have waited until all of the clans had arrived before explaining.”

She lifted onto her hind paws, weaving at the den slowly. "I still can't believe that Cedarstar had the guts to do such a thing."

Ghostscreech shook his head at the mention of Cedarstar, “I’m surprised he even managed to make it to Fourtrees.” He said, “Even more when he jumped up onto the Great Rock.” He sat back from holding the wall back, which didn’t need any support now, and started to help weave in more of the brambles.
