Slatesight looked down at his- no, the kits. "They're almost apprentices, huh?" he commented, unable to hide a smile. Even though he couldn't get involved, he couldn't wait to watch them grow into fine warriors.
Magpiekit tussled with Plumkit, easily managing to pin her. "I win!"
Plumkit pouted under her sister. "No fair..." she huffed. Why was Magpiekit so strong?
Aspenkit nervously huddled next to Mapleleaf, watching Slatesight curiously.

Hornetstrike nearly choked on his bite. His eyes widened a bit and he swallowed.
"You...you want to be more?" He asked lightly, heart beating fast. His feelings for her had lasted moons, and he loved her still. Was...was she returning those feelings?

I'm so glad you feel it too!" He purred, gently pressing his nose to hers, delighted and happier than he'd been in moons.
