Acorntail also stepped closer to the fox, the senior warrior hissing loudly at the fox. She glanced back at Nightpaw, sternly motioning for him to stay back with his siblings.
Hornetstrike hissed down at the fox from his treebranch, a white mass on brown limbs, yellow eyes piercing with anger.

Peachdapple rested in her den, the clan's largest she-cat looking like a mound of fur in her nest. She had treated some colds, as leaffall approached.
Yarrowcloud was relieved to know that the fox was gone, moving to play with his kits once more.
