and I wanted to get some feedback before doing any planning or getting excited about it.
My idea is to make a kind of "editing service" for the fanfiction forums. Upon request, I could edit people's stories (or parts of them), and maybe even homework assignments later on if it goes well. (I'm thinking about tutoring this year, so I might as well give it a test run right?) I could come up with a few different "packages" of editing. For example, the basic package would be just spelling/grammar. (But rather than just fixing the mistakes, I would mark them in red and explain why it's wrong so that people can improve). The advanced package would include suggestions for word choice, sentence structure, and so on. Also, if anyone was interested, I could offer individual help with description, plot, characters, etc.
The question is, would anyone be interested in this? If I were to make this for real, would anyone actually use it? Please let me know what you think c;
