These are Devin's Parents. Diane is Nigel's sister. Both were loners. They tried to live together even after Scourge created bloodclan and were caught and killed. Luckily, Flicker had hidden their kits with Nigel before they were caught.
ARS' plot line was originally centered around learning about Devin's past and Yossie's journey to greatness, but the sad backstory made keeping my interest on ARS hard. Then when I ended that plot line I couldn't continue because of spoilers for ARD.
This is Niko's Mom. I'd posted a pic of Niko's dad, Reginald in A Rocky Start, but not of his mom, so I wanted to draw her. Niko got his eyes from her side of the family (his dad has green). Destiny is an indoor kittypet, so she has very little understanding of how a loner's life works. She agrees with Reginald on most things, very sweet and bubbly, cares about neatness, and detests dirt. Nonetheless, she's not to be pushed around when she sets her mind on something. She and Reginald get along very well (well duh, MATES) and they understand each other perfectly. They dispute things on occasion but they always work it out (they don't usually have many things to dispute about unless you count Reginald letting their twolegs forget about cleaning the litterbox) She loves Niko very much and was very distraught when he ran away from his twolegs to be a loner. However she's come to terms on it. She's a protective, but understanding mother. Oh, and she doesn't let Niko bring his friends in the house. (not after the LAST time)

Two extra anonymous kits with nutmeg and jake because it's mentioned that rusty and princess had other unnamed siblings.
All cats in pictures are mates and kits, except for the two sibling sets I put in there. Yossie, Jake, and Reginald are bros, and Diane and Nigel are siblings.
Mothpaw left first, and Tawnypaw quickly followed suit afterward.

Before the gang was all together, Devin and Rocky usually hung out since Ryn ditched Rocky a lot (and Devin and her never have gotten along(. The time dynamic between devin and rocky changed a lot after nadia and niko joined the gang. The gang mostly formed because Ryn had a crush on Niko, who was best friends with Nadia, who saw cuteness and brilliance in Rocky, who love to hang around Devin, who had no other friends.

Reasons Why Rocky can be hard to be friends with
He makes BIG messes.
He will sass you in a poor french accent.
He touches other people's stuff without asking.
He doesn't understand personal space.
How did Nadia fall for Rocky?
It's a good question. First off, it happened slowly. Crazy huh. But its true. If you take yourself back to the very first couple pages on A Rocky Foundation, Ryn is blown away by Nadia's affection for her brother. This is the first time Nadia actually voiced her adoration for Rocky. All the adventures previous to the clans featured Nadia slowly falling for Rocky.
Rocky is very adept at making people feel as important or unimportant as he wants them to. Nadia on the other hand is naturally inclined to look for the good in others, almost to a fault. This is one of the reasons why Nadia refrains from retaliating to Devin calling her annoying in the A Rocky Foundation comic "are you listening?". She has seen Devin be kind to others and chooses to ignore his rudeness to her because of this. Its also why Nadia was so ready to give into Thornclaw's advances after Rocky's death; she knows Thornclaw is a good cat and felt bad turning him down.
Combining these two aspects (and other elements) Nadia was kind of doomed to at least like Rocky.
So without further ado, here's the moment where things began to snowball:

LITERARY LEVELS
Rocky is at a college reading level, but only a high school freshman writing level. He is bilingual, as he knows a decent amount of french (though his accent is horrible, since he learned from a book). He reads and writes french much better than he speaks it.
Niko has a fourth grade reading and writing level thanks to his mother's persistence. He doesn't enjoy it though and hasn't practiced writing anything for at least a year.
Nadia is at a second-grade reading level. She also has a random vocabulary of larger words she can read, which she picked up as a kittypet. Using context clues she can figure out most stuff. She cannot write at all.
Devin is at a first-grade reading and writing level. If you look through his text messaging history, you'll notice he relies very heavily on photos and emojis. He can speak a little bit of spanish, which he picked up from his uncle, but rarely bothers.
Ryn cannot read or write at all. She is aware of the vague meanings of certain words based off of real life experiences. (ex; 'stop' from stop signs or 'fish' from cans or stores.)

Please note: These were made to go with a pre existing rig, so I couldn't change the general body type. I envision Ryn to be more chubby and Devin to be more muscular. These designs also do not account for height differences. Devin would be the tallest, followed by Niko and Ryn, then Nadia, and lastly Rocky.
