Mallowspots climbed up after him, getting up with a practiced ease. "You did great! I'll give you a couple minutes, then we can try again, soon it'll be like you've been doing it your whole life!"

(It's alright, it was unexpected, he's been very sick for a long time, but he's still fighting on! He's not gone yet, they just discharged him earlier today, and he has to have a stay at home nurse)

"Thank you Marigoldpaw," Midnightrose purred before lapping up the herbs that were placed for her, grimacing a bit at the taste. "I suppose these don't come in a better flavor?" She teased, she sighed as her joints started to feel better, "I feel better already, you'll be a great Medicine Cat." With that, she padded back to the nursery, purring as she went.
Softwind crouched low as she smelled the scent of a mouse. She stalked forward and almost made it before accidentally brushing some grass and scaring it away. She tore after the mouse with a growl.
Brackenpaw sat in the center of camp waiting for Bramblemouth, he was excited to start his training and wanted to impress his mentor by being up early and ready to go. He was shaking with excitement trying to keep still.
Nightfang was curled up in his nest in the Warriors Den, slitting one eye open when Mallowspots and Volepaw came crashing through, he sighed and put his tail over his nose and slept.

Marigoldpaw gave an uneasy nod, looking out of the den shakily. "N..No, they don't!" She apologized, not exactly wondering if the queen heard her or not. She shrugged, giving a little sneeze and seeing what she could do to clean up the den as best as she could. With a small twitch of her whiskers, the apprentice carefully considered what Midnightrose had said. you'll be a great medicine cat. Marigoldpaw looked up to the roof of the den, hoping that that would be true. I'll do my best. She thought.

Rabbitjaw jolted awake. "Sure, yeah, sure, I'm awake, no problem," he meowed, hurriedly trying to lick his fur into submission. He did alright, however still had spikes of fur standing up on his forehead. He quickly stood "Where are you planning on hunting?" He asked through a yawn. Whitestar purred in amusement at his appearance. "Want any help with that? And I was thinking maybe go searching the plains for groundhogs, they tend to come out around now" Part of her felt a little unsure about asking still. She knew hunting wasn't exactly his favorite thing, would he even want to go? |
