Dawntail followed after Swiftstar.

Cliffheart nodded, glancing at his scratched up pelt about to tell her he looked the way he did because of the storm. A lie that came so easily off his tongue when he spoke to his clanmates, but he sighed and looked at her, "It wasn't just the storm I had to deal with." He frowned lightly.

Cliffheart glanced away from her, his tail flicking guiltily, "The Dark Forest happened." He sighed heavily, "Creeksplash enticed Songpaw...They had her trapped." His voice cracked a bit, "And if she didn't follow their orders they would've killed her."

Cliffheart shook his head, "I had to go back, Spiritstar, they were going to kill her. I needed to defend my daughter from them." he looked at her, "I know what they're like and I had to save her. You would understand if you had kits of your own." He flicked his ear and his throat almost choked up, now came the hard part, "I saved Songpaw that night..." he mewed slowly, "But..." he felt overcome by grief and guilt once again, "Spiritstar I killed him..."

Spiritstar lashed her tail about the kit comment but didn't say anything letting him finish. Her ears pinned back a low growl moved through her, "What did you do Cliffheart?" she asked him not so happy with this information. Was he dipping back into his old ways?

In the rim of the fourtrees clearing were a pair of tom cats in a tree, listening curiously to whatever they could hear. Two foreign cats at that, one white and the other black, carrying a unique scent with them due to being so new to the forests. " ill bet this is where he stayed after venturing from home as well.." The white tom murmured a little excited even if it was hard to tell.
" orion why do you care? He abandoned home.. " the dark tom murmured back with a roll of his eyes, growing quiet to let his sibling hear whatever he could
(Dont mind me just having them hear like every third word or so, letting them learn about the clans)

Ive always wanted to rp them cause ive drawn them an flushed out stories about their his decendent kin, ) |

Spiritstar's pelt rose in horror, "She....saw you....," she stuttered her eyes wide in shock as she shook her head, "Oh Cliffheart," she mewed. She thought all the darkness would be put behind them, that there family wouldn't have to suffer anymore. She had been wrong, so very wrong.
