THe Skyclan deputys frown deepened as she sighed, she felt sad for the loss of so many cats. Obsidianflower looked around the gathering now noticing the lack of some of the faces shes seen for so many moons.

Frecklepaw ducked her head as her name was chanted, uncomfortable with the attention. She did glance around to see if Stormfury had returned, but it seemed he hadn't- she resolved to tell him when she returned.
My other cats chanted.

Deadpaw didn't hear Swiftstar's report as he stared at Shellstream in stunned shock. Sealily was dead? She couldn't be dead! She was his mother--not by birth, but still! He shook his head, his mouth seeming to form words but his voice failed him. Maybe if he had been there? He was a good swimmer, maybe he could've saved her?

(Fallenwind died too? Ouch...That means Rosefeather lost both her mate and mother in that storm and her son is injured *Whatever happened to Pidgeonpaw too...?*)
Dustswirl was silent, just watched Swiftstar with an absent gaze. She only was happy that Rosefeather finally had a den mate, even if he was blind.

Deadpaw stepped away from her, his heart was broken and his mind was blaming himself. If he had been there then maybe Sealily would still be alive. If he had been there then maybe she would've died knowing that he loved her, that she didn't feel abandoned by the kit she took in as her own son. His throat managed a small whimper. He hadn't been there. He hadn't gone back because Spiritstar wanted him to stay and Venompaw didn't want to see him again.

Earthstar stepped forward. "RiverClan, too, survived the flood. However, in the process, we lost our elders Fogstorm and Storkfeather, our warrior Mistcloud, and our queen Sealily. They will all be missed, and we hope they are resting in StarClan." He let the words sit in the air. "Also, after the storm, our medicine cat Fallowleaf unfortunately joined StarClan." he bowed his head. "Flarepaw is now a full medicine cat with the name Flarefur, and she has already begun training a new apprentice, Runningpaw!" he continued. "We are working hard to regain our strength after the flood, and we give our condolences to the other cats who joined StarClan." Earthstar called. "Lastly, our warrior Icepath saved a rogue from drowning in the river. They have now joined the Clan, and we welcome Owlpaw. That is all."
Icepath straightened at the mention of her name.
My other cats bowed their heads for the fallen cats.
Shellstream frowned. "You didn't have to be there for her to know you still care," she tried to convince him.

Deadpaw turned to Earthstar when he started to speak, eagerly listening to the news about RiverClan and his heart broke into pieces as he heard about his former Clanmates' deaths. Fogstorm had always been kind to him, Storkfeather told wonderful stories, Mistcloud was a warrior to admire, and Sealily had been his mother. He hung his head in grief and couldn't cheer for Flarefur, Runningpaw, or Owlpaw.
Splashecho noticed her apprentice's sorrow, but she didn't go over to him.
Northstar dipped her head in respect of the fallen warriors of RiverClan.
