Northstar stood up and stepped to the edge of the Great Rock, "CATS OF ALL CLANS!" She called strongly, "Let the Gathering begin!"

Earthstar waited for Northstar to give the report.

Stormfury continued to wail on the brambles until he was out of breath. He sat back up and began to groom any fur that had fallen out of place.

"ShadowClan is growing strong!" Northstar announced clearly, "Though we were effected by the storm we are recovering quickly! Over the last moon it grieves me to announce that we lost Hollyflower, Darkblaze, and Softmist. During the storm Batflight, Longsight, Loneraven, Coalfire, and Wolfstorm were lost, ShadowClan grieves for them, but honors their memory and lives by continuing to survive! ShadowClan has four new apprentices: Ravenpaw, Cardinalpaw, Raccoonpaw, and Quailpaw and many new warriors in Tigerfury, Littlemoon, and Grizzlyheart. I'm am happy to announce that Cottonfur is expecting Crowfur's kits and humbled to report that Closesky, Brightmask, and Aurablaze have retired to the elder's den. ShadowClan is thankful for their long service and we pray StarClan give them many peaceful seasons of rest!" Northstar paused for a moment to let her words sink in, "The storm may have been harsh, but ShadowClan survives! We face every challenge willingly and our Clan only becomes stronger because of it!" Northstar looked to the other Clans, "I only hope that the other Clans haven't been as damaged by the storm so we may all continue to survive."
Closesky, Eaglepaw, Smokepaw, Cedarstorm, Scorchfire, and Cliffheart all hung their heads in respect of their passed clanmates, but sat tall as Northstar finished.
Thrushwing blinked in surprise hearing that Brightmask retired, the she-cat had been a former warrior of ThunderClan.

Dawntail grinned, watching the grumpy, introverted tom beat up a bramble until it was reduced to a bunch of broken sticks.
"No need to thank me~" she purred, batting her eyes at him flirtily. Then her expression grew more somber.
"I'm not gonna tell anyone," she mewed, "But I think it's only a matter of time before someone else finds out. And I'm a horrible liar. If someone asks me flat-out, I don't know if I can convince them it's not true."

Lavendersky stayed near the back of the gathering, listening to everything.
Dustswirl kept her head down, staying near her clanmates.
(I just realized I only have two cats able to come XD Nightsky is with her kits, Rockfall has an injured leg, and Rosefeather can't really leave the camp. Oops!)

Deadpaw listened to Northstar's report calmly but looked at Shellstream when she said his name, "Oh..." He flushed out, his voice squeaking again, "H-hey Shellstream..."
