Transfixing his eyes on the sky, the gray warrior scanned through his memory. Flintstrike chuckled a little. "It's kinda funny, I don't even remember how I got the injury in the first place, its all a chaotic blur in my head."

Flintstrike laid down, resting his head on his paws and closing his eyes for a moment. He didn't realize he had been staring at the sun until he started seeing spots and was giving his eyes a chance to recover. "Well we are going to have a new leader soon, perhaps we should organize a sort of celebration for the occasion. A chance for all the cats to unwind for a bit." It was an odd idea, but he thought it might work.

I'm available all through today; I'll probably post a starter soon. ))

Flintstrike's face lit up as he envisioned it in his head. "Yeah! If we get really lucky, maybe it will rain before, so we can celebrate that was well." His eyes were bright with hope and he smiled warmly. "This sounds like it could really get everyone's spirit up."

OK, I'm totally ready to rp, I just don't really know how to start... ))

Cloud began making his way to the MintClan border. Although he chose to live as a loner, he did nonetheless have a fairly loose but good relationship with the Clan. He hadn't seen Edge, Venom or Scarlet in the past few sunrises. He knew they hadn't left the Twolegplace for good - whenever times were tougher than usual and food was scarce, they would hunt in the meadows near MintClan territory for a while. They were arrogant. They would enter Clan territory without concern. But one thing they were not was stupid. They knew how to cover any trace they had been there well, masking their scents and not leaving any bones or trail marks behind.

(It did. Math isn't my strongpoint. I get the results for it next week.)

(Forget the border patrol part. I'm RPing in two RPs at once and it can get confusing. XP)

Longstride and his patrol headed out. They made their way to the border of the Clan territory, having sensed nothing suspiscious or dangerous while traveling, which was good. Longstride tasted the air and breathed in the warming scents of trees and grass. He longed to run as fast as he could, to feel the air race through his lungs and allow his legs to take him faster and faster, fast enough to maybe allow him to leap all the way up to the clouds themselves. That was when he felt most alive - at full speed, never stopping, taking it all in meanwhile. But he had a patrol to lead. He knew he had to keep at everyone's pace.
