Troutskip's tail twitched like crazy. The tom glanced around nervously. He had been even more on edge since the attack. The grey tom walked over to Duckstep and nodded. But he didn't sit down. "Anything out there?" He asked quickly.

Duckstep shook his head and glanced at the other warrior "I haven't heard anything." his gaze flicked across the clearing, injured cats still standing, having to wait to be treated. It must have hurt, but none of them complained. He sighed and looked back to Troutskip "The clan may not survive this without harm, our leader, and the cats injured by the foxes..."

A shiver ran down Troutskip's spine. "I hope we can all make it through this ok." The tom jumped at the sound of the wind blowing. He heaved a sigh and looked at Duckstep. "Should we place more guards around camp? Maybe more patrols?"

"For now, I think it best the clan stay together. I can't stand the thought of another patrol heading out and getting injured. At daybreak I will gather some cats and head out, but for now we should stay in the camp and wait to hear news." he looked at Troutskip and tilted his head questioningly, silently asking if he liked the idea. If not, Duckstep wasn't necessarily against sending out a patrol.

Duckstep couldn't bring himself to say anything either. He looked away, ears drooping slightly. It had been a lot for one night, a lot of the information hadn't sunk into the clan yet. But Duckstep knew what was going to have to happen. It would be a mess if there ever was one.

(Hey there Dew, and company. I haven't really been around much lately, due to work and other adult bullcrap. I wish I could be here more often, but I don't think my activity can improve much. It's not fair to anyone else to hold up an important plot position when I can only pop in on my days off. Plus if I'm not on a lot, I can't really get involved in plots, have to catch up, leave people trapped waiting for me to reply, etc. It's just not fair to you guys. So I think I'll have to drop out.
I hope I can still chat with y'all outside of the roleplay though. You are all very nice people and I enjoyed my time here, although it was scattered.)

Tidepaw landed softly on her paws as she jumped down from the small ledge where the apprentices den was located, her Amber gaze surveyed the clan as it began to bustle a bit more with activity.
Boulderstrike sighed as he moved from his spot under the shade and looked towards all possible entrances to the camp, "First Pinestar and now foxes.." he mumbled under his breath, his plume like tail lashing slowly from side to side.

Hollowpaw noticed Tidepaw and tried for a smile. He looked shaken and couldn't bring himself to be his usual chipper self. Ebonypaw only watched his brother make an attempt.
Batfrost licked at his injured leg. That pain in his eye eventually numbed out, but his leg still stung with the occasional pain. Funny how his eye was worst, but his leg hurt more.

Tidepaw turned to Hollowpaw and returned his attempt of a smile, Hey Hollowpaw" She softly spoke before she sat down next to him, curling her tail around her paws once she did. She tried to think of something to say to lighten the mood, but what could she possibly say? She didn't know.
The large tabby tom padded towards the smaller tom, "Batfrost" He spoke before looking over the injured tom.

Ebonypaw took the lead and said "Have you heard anything?" he was much calmer then his brother and didn't seem too bothered, though he certainly was. If Hollowpaw wasn't going to be able to reply Ebonypaw decided it best to cover for him.
"Boulderstrike, hello." Batfrost bowed his head slightly in greeting and placed his paw on the ground. He shifted slightly so he was facing the other tom.
