Raccoontail stood up, his long grey legs aching from sitting all day, I am tired of sitting, I'm going to go hunt, he thought and started to pad out into the forest. He wanted to get into the shade of the trees, away from the harsh sun.

Tidepaw slunk out of the apprentice's den, her amber eyes were filled with a mixture of tiredness and a tinge of sadness due to the news about Pinestar spreading through the clan. Before she was fully out of the den her eyes caught Raccoontail leaving camp, "Hm" She quickly followed after him.

Raccoontail padded a little ways into the forest and then turned," Hello Tidepaw," he meowed," i am guessing you would like to join me to hunt?" He asked politely, his ringed tail stirring the dry leaves on the forest floor. His voice was quiet and polite, but under all that you could just hear a hint of amusement. " I would enjoy the company."

Tidepaw's ears perked at the request causing a small purr to rumble in her throat, "Hello there Raccoontail! And yes I would" She mewed in response. She followed alongside him with a small smile, her small paws stepping into dry leaves that had fallen to the floor a small crunch being heard when they were stepped on.
