Just as a reminder, please try to read the "news" on the front page regularly. Three people have been removed for inactivity, including ~Rainy~, which means we need a new medicine cat. Of our active members that don't have a spot in the major plot already, would any of you be interested in the spot? (Keep in mind: you'll have to be extra active, and be willing to kill off your character for the sake of the plot) }}}

"You're probably right," Raventail replied meekly, picking up the squirrel. He was disappointed at its size, but it was still much better than nothing. The rabbit alone would be enough to feed his mate and all three kits. "The sun is unbearable." An idea came to mind suddenly. "Why haven't we thought of this earlier!" he exclaimed. "The heat is too much for us, so it's probably too much for the prey, too. If we were to start hunting at night, the prey might be out more, and we won't get as exhausted so quickly."

"Absolutely," Raventail replied, breathing a sigh of relief. He followed her towards where the rabbit was buried. Finally! Raventail could do something to help the Clan! "Cedarstripe will need to know so he can organize patrols for after the sun goes down. The territory will still be dry, but at least it's cooler without the sun."

Blackdawn nodded, unable to answer him once she had the rabbit in her mouth. The she-cat walked towards camp, able to carry the rabbit more easily since it was small. She hoped Raventail's idea would work. The clan might actually be able to feed all the cats it held for once. Then maybe Pinestar would eat.

Spottednose purred, she was happy that her apprentice seemed to be having a good day. She waited for him to catch the sent of mouse or hear a bird and hunt it using what he just learned.

Rainy is not the med cat anymore, not active. Soo enyone who doesn't already have a main charater in the plot can try out for it!))

I only have one character open, Cedarstripe. I'll post a starter and whoever wants to can respond.))

Cedarstripe paced around the camp, worried as usual. He was of course quite worried about the drought, but now he was also worried about Pinestar. The old leader didn't look good, and Cedarstripe feared he would soon be joining StarClan. The worst thing was there was nothing he could do about any of it. He couldn't make it rain, he couldn't make Pinestar better, he couldn't help at all. He forced himself to take a deep breath. He couldn't be pacing and worrying in front of the rest of the Clan. The last thing he wanted was to pass on his mindset to his Clanmates.

Raventail returned the grin, excited to finally have done something that might benefit the Clan. He might not be able to attack the enemy since it was intangible, and he might not always be able to catch the squirrel, but at least he could use his brain. Now he could only hope that it worked. Then, his mood shifted again when he glanced at the leader's den. In a somewhat softer voice, he mewed, "Have you talked to Pinestar?"

shure, we can just rp or do the ceramorny, what ever one you want to do. But it might do be a good idea to do the ceramony cause it has already been a week or two and it might be a week or two more before we are all on at the same time....))

Quailkit ran across the camp, not looking where she was going. She barrled into Raventail and fell to the ground with a," oof!" She looked up and saw Raventail, her eyes widening," Raventail!" she meowed. She stood up, her fur was covered with dust and a cloud of it billowed around her," Sorry!" She meowed.
