Lakeshadow glanced at Goldeneye for a moment before taking a bite of her prey. "Greetings Goldeneye," she meowed "how are you?" She wondered if he had a secret to tell her, as that was what she was known for. Cats came to her to relieve themselves of secrets and she would keep them safe. She looked at the tom and waited.

Raventail took a deep breath before walking in the direction of the prey. Hunting had never been his strong suit, and he knew it. With the amount at stake, maybe it would be better to let Blackdawn take the lead..? He shook his head, trying to shrug off the self-deprecating thoughts. Spirits were low enough in the Clan already. He scented the air again, mouth watering at the strengthening smell of squirrel.

Realizing that Blackdawn was waiting on him, Raventail sighed internally. Please StarClan, don't let me mess this up. When they were close, he dropped into the hunter's crouch, drawing himself forward silently until he could see the squirrel nibbling on a walnut. Trying hard to not make a sound, he tensed up and prepared to pounce. But Raventail's usual problem occurred: he was too afraid of scaring the prey, and never really got close enough. So when he pounced... he missed. But by some good grace of StarClan, the squirrel ran straight for Blackdawn.

Hey guys! I haven't joined a roleplay for a while - like, three years - but I thought I'd give it a shot. I browsed through the forum and MintClan looks really interesting and fun! I will admit, I have not been good at staying active in the past, but I might try setting an alarm every day to remind me to go on the forums in my free time. I hope this works out!

I'll start out with just one cat to get the hang of this again. Can I start as an elder?

Mosspelt has tree-trunk brown fur speckled with lighter brown spots that has a strange habit of blending in with the forest floor. As a result, his favourite game as an apprentice was hide-and-seek, and he was always excellent at sneaking up on prey. His eyes are hazel, once gleaming with excitement yet now wise and exhausted with age. He was never very good at getting along with his clan members and had only a few close friends as a warrior, both of which have died recently. However, now at the near end of his life, he has finally begun to open up a little bit more - but not too much. Mosspelt enjoys basking in the sun in the evening while feasting on some prey; he's trying to make his last few moons with the clan as peaceful and relaxing as possible.

I really hope that's good enough! Please let me know if it's not enough or too much. Again, I haven't roleplayed, or read the Warriors books, in a while, so I hope you understand. =^.^= I'm excited to be a part of MintClan!!

Lakeshadow chewed thoughtfully, confused, she didn't expect this reaction. Unless he was trying to play her, to get her to tell HIM a secret. She looked at his bright gold eyes and knew it wasn't true. "Hot" she said quite blandly, she acted uninterested as she carefully studied him.

Blackdawn was surprised when the tom missed the squirrel and stayed put as it ran toward her. When she was in pouncing distance the she-cat jumped, landing on the squirrel and killing. It was skinny but still edible.

Goldeneye took another bite of his prey and noticed Lakeshadow studying him, Do I have something on my face? He thought looking at the she cat confused. Goldeneye had totally forgotten that when someone has a secret they come to Lakeshadow, but that wasn't the case this time; he just wanted some company. "Without looking at her he mewed. "I don't have some big confession to make." He hesitated, "I just wanted some company." He said in a soft almost embarrassed tone.

I feel like this rp is kinda going no where, What should we talk about? ]
