Hey there! This was a page I originally had up to test the waters with Cloudclan. Now, this page is used for plot planning purposes and for OOC character discussion.

Cloudclan
The Cats Who Touch The Sky Clan Information
A long time ago, a group of cats traveled out together from their homes, on a quest to find a place where the heavens and earth met. They set out into the world together on a journey that lasted many moons, gathering more and more cats along the way. Those who were fierce, intelligent dreamers were encouraged to come along- others were simply left behind.
After a long struggle, they crossed an enormous mossy forest to find themselves at the base of a great mountain. At the tip of this rocky precipitate, the clouds touched the earth, and the weary travelers knew they had found their home. They set up camp near the bottom of this mountain and would make journeys every full moon to speak with the ancestors that lived in the glistening caves. These spirits they called the Ancients, and the place where the sky was pierced was named the Moonpoint, for only when the full moon was caught by the tip of the mountain would the starry cats have a bridge to come speak with the living.
Today, the clan accepts only the bravest, most loyal cats. They value ingenuity and resourcefulness above all else, but most importantly, a cat must have their head and heart in the clouds to be a true member of the group.
Recently, however, there has been dissent among the members of the clan. It seems darkness has creeped into the hearts of many of the warriors, and there has been a message from the ancients foretelling a great shadowed time.
Cloudclan does not live under the same warrior code as the cats in the original warriors book series.
The altered cloudclan warrior code is as follows under the cut:
- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from outside the clan, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
- Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
- Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the ancestors for its life.
- A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
- A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
- A Gathering at the moonpoint is held every full moon. All quarrels and fights must be forgotten on this day, and the clan must gather in peace and thankfulness of the Ancestors
- Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
- No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is an outsider.
- The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
- An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles
- A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Description of Territory
Cloudclan cats live in a semi-humid forest environment at the foot of a small mountain. The cat's clan camp is situated in a small gorge southwest of the mountain and is protected by dense undergrowth. To the south is a mossy rainforest known as High Pines Forest, where prey is common but the undergrowth is often too thick to navigate. Cats are discouraged but not forbidden from going here, as it is easy to get lost.
The northeastern edge of the territory leads into lands which are infested with twolegs, and although it is rare to see them travel as far as the camp, they do occasionally trip through the woods surrounding Cloudclan. They seem unable or unwilling to climb the Moonpoint, however, and so it is a safe refuge from their damaging habits. They have a cleared out chunk of forest where they often sleep overnight, and cats are forbidden from traveling here, as it is dangerous for cats.
Towards the west is the sun-drown place, where the sun disappears into the water each night at sunset. It is rumored that a group of cats live in this unusual place, but no Cloudclan cats have seen them for many moons.
Clan Rules
All forum rules apply. No spotlighting, godmodding, powerplaying, or Mary Sues either.
I will reject your character or ask you to modify behavior if I feel you are making roleplay unfair or unenjoyable for others with your characters. This is a realistic to semi realistic roleplay. Cats get hurt, die mortally injured etc. If you have more than 4 cats please expect that any extras will be the first to die in battles or of sickness.
This is negotiable, but will fall under powerplaying if you refuse to RP realistically. All orientations and identities of characters are accepted and welcomed. Members are expected to RP at the semi-lit level. You don't have to write paragraphs upon paragraphs, but I do expect 3-4 complete sentences for each post. Similarly, please keep OOC chatter to a minimum and within () brackets You must be active at least once a week. Higher ranking characters need to be on 2-3 times a week. Prophecy/plot cats and high rankers can and will be replaced if you aren't active enough. Activity checks are always announced beforehand, and passing multiple activity checks will put you on the short list for high ranks. Each person is also only allowed one high-ranking character at a time. Kit stealing is allowed only if a battle has been arranged beforehand!
As a roleplay rule, all apprentices must participate in at least five training sessions to earn their warrior name. For medicine cat apprentices, it's 5 healing lessons and 1 trip to the Moonpoint. When a new day starts, you are still able to finish up patrols or whatever from the previous day. All the frozen cats will be freed up once the morning begins. At the end of the month, all cats age 2 moons, unless decided otherwise due to plot contingency.
Break 3 rules, you're out.

I wouldn't mind taking up the role as medicine cat and perhaps two warriors and an apprentice.
Possible plots we could use could be a natural disaster, a rebellious situation, prophecy(not invovling cats being chosen for something), and maybe a strange cat enters the territory?
Or we could do a plot where StarClan have lost their connection with CloudClan and cats from dark forest are taking over their spiritual places/dreams.

Oohh , those are some good ideas too! I was actually kinda thinking something along the lines of a combination of two of those. So maybe the dark forest is convincing cats to rebel against the clan and there's an inner mutiny going on where not only are cats fighting against eachother but so are starclan and the dark forest?

Munestone (Munepaw, Or Munestar) // Med cat apprentice or leader // 70 moons // Female
Munestone is a blue point Siamese with pure white fur, but she has dark blueish grey focal points on her face, legs, and tail. Her blueish grey focal points also have a pale silvery grey towards the edges giving her a shaded grey look. She has very pale blue but bright eyes, she has short sleek fur and is quite small but is very lethal. Munestone has a strong mind followed by strong opinion, if she likes you she will be sweet and kind. But if she dislikes you get ready for a whole lot of sass, when it comes to her feelings she becomes nervous and shy.
Shyfawn // Warrior // 27 moons // Female
Shy fawn has light cream fur with milk chocolate rosette spots, that only appear on her back and sides. Her legs, tail, ears, and forehead bare tabby like markings that are a slightly darker chocolate brown then the rest of her short satin like fur. She has pale china blue eyes and a soft toned face, she is in fact quite long and sleek, and equipped with long lean muscles. Shy fawn is timid/nervous at times, but only when the situation calls for it, she has a different kind of shyness almost a shy-sweet. Shy fawn is very soft spoken and kind-hearted, she believes in following your heart even despite the rules.
Violetleaf // warrior // 25 // tom
Violetleaf has jet black stain like fluffy fur. His face, paws, ears and tail tip are a dusty grayish black. His chest, underbelly half way down his legs and tail are all a shining silver. He has medium length fur but also has a well feathered tail. He has lynx like ear tips and a smaller lion's like maine. He is still very large, with well muscled limbs and long pointy ears. Violet leaf has dark deep green eyes with golden yellow flecks, making them shine like golden dappled leaves. He is still very intimidating just like his sister, but is a lot easier to talk to. He is funny and sarcastic, but a real worrier when the time is right. He cares a lot about others and would put anyone before himself. Tying into his sarcastic-ness he is also kind of flirty but in a more light hearted and friendly way.
Auroramist // tom // 23 moons // tom
Auroramist is a pale silvery grey tom, with white speckles covering his back; along with white toes is the one built for strength but he does have speed with the help from his long legs and tail, his is very graceful in both physical and body size. His body consists of medium-short, soft, sleek fur. Under his coat lay lean and well muscled limb, he has a more defined pointed face with huge round sky-blue eyes and a feather like tail, his chest fur curve at the tips making them stick out. Auroramist has an adventurous and rebellious spirit, he takes life to the fullest and doesn't take lightly to following rules. Although he is a bright and risk taker he doesn't believe in violence but once to spread compassion. Although he is bright and cheery if anyone was to betray him that could lead him downhill very fast, once this happens he tends to start not believing in himself and beats himself up.
Astralflame // Warrior // 23 moons // Female
Astralflame is a dark, russet she-cat. Not quite red, no, instead it's a ruddy redish-dark brown. Rust colored, really. Large paws and a floofy mane are her calling cards. Her face, while angular, has long cheek fur that makes it appear softer unless damp. Pointy ears with tufts of fur atop them and blue eyes are always listening and watching. While visually intimidating, her mothering personality shines a light on her kind temperament and sweet words. She finds herself lonely at times, and wonders, if ever briefly, if she'll find someone to share it with.
Emeraldsky // Warrior // 21 Moons // Tom
Emeraldsky is a black and white patched tom with bright green eyes, he has medium short length fur with a sleek feather like tail, a small maine and a muscular build. One side of his whiskers are white and one side are black, he has long toned legs, with thin pointy ears. His ear tips are a black along with his toe tips. Emeraldsky is sweet, but thinks highly of himself, he has very strong opinions and wont back down from any challenge, he works hard to improve himself; he is very insecure.

We don't have a medicine cat yet, so you'd be a little stuck in the meantime while we were waiting for someone to claim it, but it's your decision! I would be fine with you taking leader or medicine cat apprentice, its your decision!

There's a couple of cats in your post too that have some info missing (age/rank etc) so if you could edit those I'll go ahead and add them all in! Also, do you think we could make Munestar a little older? 24 moons is pretty young for a leader, especially since that would mean she's younger than the deputy.. Also, it says in her description that she looks like her sister, but you didn't specify who that is? is she dead? (tragic backstory oh my!)

||UPDATE||WANTED: Murder Cats and Prophecy Cats(Also probably a Medicine Cat, due to aforementioned murder cats)So I have a rough outline for the prophecy/plot for the clan fleshed out. Essentially, a group of cats who have been led astray by dark/evil spirited ancestor cats will attempt to overthrow the leadership within the clan and will (for an undetermined amount of time) "win" over the good natured cats. There will be a good vs. evil vs. morally gray theme going on with this RP. The prophecy is: Clouds shall cover the stars and darkness will shadow the clan.
Only the light of dawn can bring an end to the night.
Basically, the bad members of the clan are the clouds which will cover the stars and their victory is the darkness which shadows the clan. One cat will be the main prophecy cat (Dawn___) and may or may not come from outside the clan. This role is still open at this time. What this means is that I'm looking for people to ally their cats good/bad/neutral for when the fighting starts to go down. This also means that if you've always wanted to play a bloodthirsty murder cat, now is your opportunity! If you want to be involved in the prophecy or want to make a statement declaring your cat(s) allegiance please do so! EDITED: PROPHECY ROLES HAVE BEEN CLAIMED

Larkeye mate of Speckleclaw, and the mother of Rootkit, Heatherkit, and Briarpaw. The long furred tabby rarely lets her kits out of her sight, and is over-protective of their sibling. Larkeye had been an eager queen, enjoying the experience fully until she lost two of her kits in her first kitting, leaving only Briarpaw surviving. Once a brave warrior, she is paranoid at best now, often times she is trying to scare her kits into staying near and under her care. She is always willing to give warriors advice as her experience has never left her.

Speckleclaw is large tom who tends to be quiet. He dotes upon his family lovingly, and after the first tragedy is very defensive of them. He tends to mind his own business, but once his family is concerned he tends to stick his nose in, often times aggressively. He has been known to snap at cats for even hinting at saying something about his family, but otherwise tends to be reserved and save most of his words for his mate. His pelt is a mishmash of browns, whites, and reds, with a very distinctive white chin.

Rootkit was born far thinner than her sister Heatherkit, her mother had fretted that she wouldn't make it past the first few days. Now this chocolate colored kitten- sporting her fathers distinctive white chin- seems just as large as her sister thanks to her ample fluff. She is the quieter of the siblings, taking after her father, her amber eyes take things in with wonder. Her sister can easily goad her into getting into trouble, and the two are rarely apart. She always is always on damage control for this mischief her sister has gotten them into. She dislikes being the center of attention, but her sisters mischievous ways often times put her there.
|| Heatherkit || Kit || 5 moons || She-cat
Heatherkit had always been the bigger sibling, and she was quite happy to have the attention as well; The two kits are often times seen whispering between each other, as soon as another cat passes they will both go quiet until Heatherkit speaks up. She is quite talkative, a bit on the abrasive side when it comes to cats other than her sister, she especially seems to throw comments at their older sibling, even if Rootkit tries to persuade her otherwise. When she feels her sister deserves attention, she will toss her into light, but more often than not she pointedly directs attention away from her sister.

BriarPaw is a short furred chocolate bi-color tabby. The apprentice is happy to finally have some of his mothers attention away from him, having had her monitor him closely since he could move- but fears perhaps his mother is smothering his sisters. He is eager to prove that he is capable of taking care of both himself and his clan, and has been known to be gentle and charming- unless a cat does something he can't tolerate, then his mood tends to sour and he tends to let loose a tirade of sarcastic or flustered comments.
I wanted to do another cat or two, but it took me so long to get this family right here....(this draft has been in progress for like four days....;;;; ) I decided to save that for later.. ~_~ I was hoping for either murderous medicine cat position but if Hawk would like medicine cat, go for it!
Also, for a plot thing... maybe with Dawn____, perhaps there are two cats in the roleplay with that prefix? One is the actual prophecy cat, and one isn't- so any murderous cats that happen to know want to get rid of the one they think is the prophecy cat, or influence them to be evil too?? and maybe they are happy to be a part of the prophecy- so they're jealous when another cat is ACTUALLY the cat the prophecy is talking about... or maybe they're relieved they actually aren't because that's a crap ton of pressure.
And I can edit any of these descriptions if they're too long, I went a bit far with them and realize they can be shorter;;;;

Hawkeyes258 Nobody has given me any prophecy cats yet, so please feel free to send some out! Faun has already talked to me about planning an evil med cat, but if you wanted to make a character to be her apprentice I think that would be great! I think after you post some (if you want) and Faun gets the rest of hers out, we'll go ahead and start the clan! faundestwishes Yes, please go ahead and do your evil med cat idea, I 100% approve of it, I think it would be good for the plot. And if you wanna do any murderous cats, be my guest! Oh I LOVE the idea of there being two "Dawn" cats, so they don't know who is the actual prophecy cat!! Maybe the real prophecy cat is a loner who stumbles upon the clan, while the evil one is clan-born and hates the idea that any other cat has the power? ♡ Bun ♡ You can make more cats or just choose to modify the cats you've already made to be murder cats, just keep in mind that if you have more than 3 cats some of them could die in battle or be murdered! Also, I'm not sure if you saw my previous post, but I need you to clear some stuff up before I can 100% approve your characters. - Munestar needs to at least be older than her deputy, otherwise her leadership doesn't seem legit. Can you make her at least 70 moons or more?
- How many moons old is Violetleaf?
- You mention that Munestar has a sister in her description. Who is that cat?

||UPDATE||User Novi and I have decided that Cloudclan and The Tribe of Crashing Tides will be distant neighbors!
Details are still being figured out, but we have decided that some cats within the clan will have common ancestry with the cats of the tribe, who live on the coast near the clan (seen as the sun drown place on the map). There will be plot interaction between our clan and the tribe at times, specifically relating to prophecies. However, the two groups are far enough away that they will not be able to have border skirmishes or other interactions like the clans in the books. Think: The cats at the lake and the cats at the mountain from the book series. That's about the distance we're talking here.
Feel free to make cats with blood linked to the tribe, but for the purposes of the plot, both the tribe and the clan cats are unaware of their shared ancestry at this time.

I like it! But with that in mind, we still need one cat in Cloudclan who has the "Dawn" prefix, to be the fake prophecy cat or w/e. If nobody wants to take on that task though I might just do it myself, since I know it's no fun to play the loser lol.

Snowfawn || Starclan cat || 30 moons|| female
Snowfawn is a dark silver tabby she-cat. Her underbelly and the tips of her ears and tail are white. She has dark green eyes that are always lit with curiosity. Alive and in Starclan she has always been spirited. Never afraid to try something new or attempt to satisfy her desire for knowledge. She is fiercely protective of her clanmates. When a kit went missing, Snowfawn was the first to go out and look for it. She found it trapped by a snake slithering towards it. Naturally she leapt to save it and ended up getting bit. She died from venom shortly afterwards.
Blazestep || warrior || 26 moons || male
Blazestep is a long limbed dark red tom. He has deep ocean blue eyes. Tending to stay on the sidelines, he's rather lazy and prefers to let others make the decisions.
