"I told you to rest!" Dewstreak responded in a stern mew. She nuzzled his head with hers to offer some comfort, but there wasn't much she could do now. The she-cat had already done everything in her power to save his life. Now he had to save his strength to help himself.
Can we jsut sa he got medical attention by a medicine cat? This is honestly not going anywhere, and I'm runniong out of things to rp. Sorry)

( 🍁Searipple101🍁 I understand completely and I feel the same. I've reached out to both the Medicine cat and appreciate and they're busy. I'm going to do a time skip to the next morning. Smokepelt has been seen to, but still can't feel his leg and Stormstar hasn't moved from outside the medicine den. I hope this helps with RPing) Stormstar | Outside the Medicine Den Eyes and paws heavy, Stormstar sat, unmoving, outside of Cloudfoot's den. His father had been there all night, also unmoving. He had seen him drift in and out if sleep each time his breathing being very irregular. Stormstar ran his tounge across his chest in a few swift strokes, trying to flatten his ruffled fur. He felt like his soul had already joined the Dark Forest after what he had done to his innocent father. What he had done was irascible and unacceptable, but the worst part was he had done it as a leader and to his own Father over something so personal to him and his new mate... Something that didn't even concern Stormstar. He sighed and wondered if he would ever be able to talk to Smokepelt or Dewstreak again.

Dewstreak had not left Smokepelt's side the entire time. She hadn't left to eat or anything. Currently, she was crouched by his side, grooming his darker dray fur with slow and gentle rasps of her tongue. Every so often she would whisper in his ear how much she cared for him and that he would be okay, along with other things of that nature. She even talked about how good of a cat and warrior he really was, and how he was going to make her the best mate ever. Her tongue stroked his forehead carefully, as if he was made of pine needles and the slightest wrong movement would cause his form to break and disappear forever.

Icefang had been out all night doing what he could to help Smokepelt. He thought about going to the warriors den to try and get some rest. But he decided against it in case anyone needed help he waited by the warriors den until someone needs him.

Cloudfoot (I'm just RPing her for this particular moment and don't think that Brecon will mind) | Medicine den
With a solemn expression, Cloudfoot trudged over to Smokepelt. A flicker of hope burned in the back of her mind when she saw Smoekpelt moving and his breathing starting to regulate. She leaned over his body, leaving enough room for Dewstreak to remain by his side, taking a paw she pushed it, gently, into Smokepelt's injured leg. He didn't move. She took out a claw and prodded his leg. He didn't move. Her fear was realised at once, Stormstar had compleatly severed Smokepelt's nerve in his leg. Not even a member of StarClan could mend such an injury. Sighing, Cloudfoot turned to face Dewstreak "Dewstreak... I... I'm sorry, but his leg... It can't be fixed. I don't know how to say this, but Smokepelt will never again walk on four legs." Cloudfoot turned her head away, but didn't move. She checked Smokepelt's breathing, felt for his temperature, did anything to not have to look at Dewstreaks face and see her reaction.
Stormstar | Camp
Dipping his head into the den, Stormstar heard the terrible words that Cloudfoot had just told Dewstreak "N... No... No... NOO!" Stumbling backwards, he fell over his own paws and landed awkwardly. Stormstar yowled and sprang back up. He turned and ran to the entrance of the camp. He plunged out into the long grasses that surrounded the camp. Running, swiftly, Stormstar tripped over a small mouse hole and landed, hard, on his side. Winded, dazed and distraught, Stormstar lay there, tears in his eyes, and his heart broken. He had permanently maimed his own father and nothing he could say or do would ever change that.

cloudfoot padded to her herb store , picking out thyme and and poppy seed knowing the shock it would have on dewstreak. She whisked her tail as she focuses on her work. A knot was forming inside her belly, made of guilt and helplessness. she didn't know what to do next. Her leader had attacked his own father and lamed him for life, the clan would be shocked and this was not a good time for something like this too happen... Pushing the thought to the back of her head for padded toward where smoke pelt lay the herbs clamped firmly in her jaws
lark feather approached the camp entrance only to hear cries of despair. Stormstar flashed past him. he ran the few strides left to camp bursting through the entrance with two mice dangling fro his jaws. Dropping them in the fresh kill pile, its contents meagre, he paced camp unsure of what had happened to cause such a reaction from now the clan leader. its got to be smokepelt...what's happened now?

(I'm so glad that you're back breconcats) Smokepelt | Medicine Den A sharp pain shot through his head as he lofted it a mouse length from the nest that had been built around him. Smokepelt blinked away his confusion and weariness. He hadn't yet seen Cloudfoot, but he could smell her fresh scent on Dewstreak and knew that she couldn't be far. Grunting, he placed his frount paws underneath him, trying to prop himself up. Staring into Dewstreak's eyes, he mustered a small smile "I guess I should have stayed out of that shouldn't I" he joked half-heartedly. He searched around the den by slowly turning his head back and forth and spotted Cloudfoot, not far away, gathering up a few herbs that Smokepelt didn't recognise.

Cloudfoot saw smokepelt push himself up, she rushed towards him, "lie down!" She hissed maybe a little too harshly, " sorry, your leg is still very bad...you have too rest it." She picked up her herbs and quietly guided her tail around dewstreak, guiding her out of the medicine den. " I know it's a shock to hear it but you must not tell smokepelt yet, he still very weak and if you shock him it could stunt his recovery" quickly she gave her a thyme stem, " this should help." Quickly she padded away, pushing through the entrance she came and sat beside smokepelt.she began to lick the the poultice off the wound to check for infection. " right lets see what's going on here" she carefully parted the fur around the wound, clumps of blood had clotted in the hairs," how are you feeling ?" She asked as she cleaned the wound assessing the damage done...

Larkfeather saw ice fang sat outside the Warriors den and paced up, unsure of what to do. " what do you think is going on?" He asked, unsure why storms tar had been so distraught. " do you need anything done?"

Icefang saw Larkfeather approach. He knew someone would ask what was going on eventually. Icefang listened to the question Larkfeather asked. "Last night Stormstar told Smokepelt that he wasn't aloud to have another mate." He paused for a moment to take a couple breaths then continued. "To my knowledge Smokepelt didn't agree and left camp coming back with Dewstreak. There was an argument which ended with Stormstar injuring his fathers leg and hurting Dewstreak a little. Maybe something happened to Smokepelt?" He stopped to address the other question. "Nothing needs to be done right now." He wondered what could of happened to Smokepelt and went over to the medicine den to find out when he saw Dewstreak outside. "Hows Smokepelt doing?" He asked.

cloudfoot turned to see icefang at the entrance of her den, recovering the wound with the rest of the poultice, she stepped up and padded to meet him. "Okay considering the damage in his leg, he's tired though and I'm worried about infection setting in" she wondered whether to tell the warrior about smokepelts lameness but thought better of it, better not too spread rumours while he was still weak, "but it's looking good so far, tell the clan not to worry...also find stormstar. He shouldn't be left alone at the moment" It wasn't because of what he had done but what he might do too himself, she kept this too herself. As she turned away from the deputy her stomach growled but she wasn't hungry, not with the concerns in her mind. What if that was what...
Larkfeather turned away and continued his pacing, he couldn't settle, something was on his mind. With a aqualung he saw tallkit tumble out of the nusery, quieter than usual. he must be picking up on the clans anxious mood "Hey!" He called to the pale cream tabby, "do you wanna play find the moss ball?" He hooked up a ball of moss in his claws and approached the kit.
Tallkit heard the question coming from Larkfeather, he recognised the voice and scenting the air pinpointed the scent, remember that next time he gave a playful yip and ran up to the warrior, " hide it, hide it!" he called

Smokepelt | Medicine Den
Confused, Smokepelt watched as Cloudfoot whisked Dewstreak away. He decided to push it to the back of his mind as he saw Cloudfoot re-enter. But soon after she had checked his wounds for infection, she was off out of the den again. Smokepelt could swear that, that she cat had bees for brains sometimes, but he had already decided to forget their long standing quarrel. He didn't want to argue with his medicine cat. Above all else, it was very undignified. Sniffing his wounds, Smokepelt couldn't smell anything bad and, although he had no idea what he was looking for, he believed himself to be fine. He scratches weren't too deep, so what was Cloudfoot so worried about. He was fine... Wasn't he? He only had a deep scratch on his leg... But he couldn't even feel that, so it must be fine.

Well, I got much busier than I'd like :/)
Dewstreak felt her world shatter at the news. Smokepelt's leg wasn't able to be fixed? Her mouth gaped open a little, jaws only parted enough to reveal the tips of white fangs inside. However, she quickly closed her mouth, and when Cloudfoot escorted her out, she followed, mostly ignoring Smokepelt's half-hearted joke. Gratefully, she took the thyme step and ate it, figuring it would help with her shocked state. But, there was the problem. The shock the she-cat had felt was already passed. Deep down, Dewstreak already knew the outcome. She'd already figured out he couldn't walk on four legs again. Looking at the atate his leg was it now, it was obvious. She ignored everyone else and padded off and away from the medicine den. She needed some time regardless if the news was a real shock or not.half-heartedly, she scanned around camp for Tallkit's sisters. Figuring spending time with Smokepelt's kits might help, she would play with Tallkit's sisters, since he seemed already occupied. She'd played with them a few times before anyway.

Icefang left to look for Stormstar. He thought to himself. "I should have followed him when he left earlier". he said to himself as he passed through the camp entrance. He could see someone had ran through the grass by the camp so he went and searched through the grass then continued onward looking for Stormstar. Then he found Stormstar on the ground. "What happened." He asked confused.

Smokepelt | Medicine den
He could feel his limbs start to feel strained and lay his head on his tired paws. Slowly Smokepelt felt his eyes close and before he knew it, he had entered into his own world of dreams.
Darkkit | Nursery
"hrmph," thought Darkkit. How come a blind kit was allowed out of the nursery, but she wasn't. Darkkit had been cooped up in the small den al day with her sister and, frankly, she had had enough. Making sure that she didn't wake her sleeping sister, she crept past the she-cat who had taken the duty of looking after her and slipped out of the entrance. The bright sunlight hit her like a monster of one of the thunderpaths. She hadn't seen proper sunlight before and when she looked around, she was thoroughly shocked. This was the first time that she had left the nursery after her eyes opening the previous day. She had never dreamed of such a beautiful world around her. she scanned the camp with her newly opened eyes and squinted. She spotted a she-cat a few mouse lengths away. Padding up to her she mewwed excitedly "which one are you? Are you Dewstreak? You smell a bit like her. Why do you look sad? Do you want to play?" Darkkit pushed herself up onto her hind paws and batted the air around the she-cat. She could barely reach up to her muzzle, but she knew that one day she would be so big that she would be able to fight cats that were even bigger than this one.
Stormstar | Outside of camp
Lookin up, the leader stared his deputy square in the face. A hiss in his voice he growled "go away Icefang! you know very well what happened. How can you even stand there and look at me knowing what I've done?" lashing his tail, Stormstar stood and faced Icefanf=g. His fur was on end, but his anger was not directed towards the young tom. His fury was completely aimed at himself. He had mortally wounded his father and nothing he could do would ever fix it. Should he even continue being the leader? Icefang was not yet ready to become the leader, he had only just taken on the role of becoming the deputy. If Stormstar left now, the Clan would be in ruins and end up becoming rogues. No. He had to stay, but what would is own Clan think of him now that he had attacked in of them? How could he face them now? Would they even want him back? All these questions buzzed around in his brain until he started to feel dizzy. His body swayed and Stormstar had to focus greatly to just remain standing.

Icefang didn't move. "I'm not leaving, Cloudfoot told me that you should not be left alone, so I'm not going anywhere until you decide to come back to the camp or are somewhere where you aren't alone." Icefang took a breath before awnsering the other question. "Im able to look at you because your the clans leader I lost my entire family so my only loyalties are to the clan and the cat who leads us that is why I can look at you." He had talked fast so he took a while to catch his breath.

Stormstar | With Icefang out of camp
Ears stretching, Stormstar couldn't believe a word that he was hearing. Icefangwasntlesaving! Stormstar froze, staring at the young tom. He couldn't leave now. His own deputy supported him... so maybe the rest of his Clan would too. Sighing, he rested his head on Icefang's shoulder "what do I do now Icefang? I'm completely lost. The path of my ancestors seems closer than ever. I seem to be fading from my own sanity. How can I believe that I am well when I am deranged enough to attack my own father?" He despaired and turned to leave, removing his head from his deputy's sholder, but stopped mid-stride. He could no longer be trusted to lead his own Clan. The Clan would be lost without him, but would it fair much better if he was still around? As even more questions started to buzz around in his head, Stormstar fell to the ground, a dull thud erupting from his still body.
Opening his eyes, Stormstar instantaneously became confused. Where was he? He didn't recognise his surroundings at first, but then it hit him. He was in StarClan's hunting grounds. Was he dead? No. His pelt was still grey and not studded with the starry pelts that all members of StarClan owned. Not wanting to stay in the same, isolated, position, Stormstar padded away into a small meadow that was lined with small birch saplings. At the centre stood a lone, dark pelted she-cat. Instantly, Stormstar recognised her. It was their founder and the great leader before him, Darkstar! As he slowly walked up to her, his muscles tensed. Was she here to punish him~? Or was this simply a coincidence? As he drew to less than a mouse-length away, Darkstar turned swiftly to face him. "I knew that I would see you before long" he heard the cat murmur as she turned "I am greatly disappointed in you, my grandson" gingerly, Stormstar bowed his head and shivered. Darkstar circled around him, her jet-black fur dazzling in the hot sun that never seemed to set in StarClan. He looked up wanting to speak, but no words came that could justify what he had done. She stopped moving and took a step closer "what you have done is unforgivable. All of your ancestors will look down on you for many moons for your wrong decisions. But... That is not why I have brought you here. Your actions have marked the start of something new, and I am here to give you a prophecy that was sent to me when I was told to make Leopardfeather our first medicine cat." he shuddered as the fresh wind ruffled his fur. This was big he could tell. Not wanting to interrupt, he stood very still and listened as she continued "when son turns on father and the smoke ceases to travel..." Darkstar paused as if searching for a long lost sentence that hadn't been thought of in moons "a Clan that hunts in meadow will look to an apprentice of great destiny to save it. The apprentice with the heart of the eagle will save you all." As Darkstar finished her last word, Storstar felt his body fade, and he closed his eyes and prepared to wake back intot he world of the living. The words of the prophecy still rang in his ears "the apprentice with the heart of a egale will save you all..."

Dewstreak had noticed Tallkit, but he was busy. Her plan was to go into the nursery and meet the kits of her new mate once more; just because he couldn't use one leg anymore didn't mean she would leave him behind. However, before she could even move a paw in the direction of the nursery, a dark shape pelted right towards her then batted around her muzzle. Surprise was the first thing she felt, but only for a heartbeat. Soon, laughter took over. It felt good to laugh in a time like this. "You have no problem bombarding others with questions, huh?" she asked in an amused purr. The gray tabby crouched down to be more at level with the little kit. "And I see your eyes have opened as well, Darkkit." She ignored most of the questions, instead offering an answer to only one and then a question of her own. "I am Dewstreak, yes. Do you want a tour around camp, little one?" Her voice was smooth like honey and soft as a goose's downy feathers. She loved kits.

I'd like to be a part of the prophecy, please :3)
Dewstreak listened to the kit, feeling her ears growing hot with slight embarassment. "Let's start with the apprentices' den, because that's where you will be going to stay when you're six moons old," she mewed, loving Darkkit's attitude. Deep down, she kind of wished Darkkit was hers, but since Lightningpad wasn't here anymore, she could take care of the little kit. I promise to take care of your kits, she prayed silently to Lightningpad in StarClan.
The tabby turned and flicked her tail for Darkkit to follow. "Stay close to me while yopu're out here. Don't go wandering off, okay?" she told her, padding over to the apprentices' den. "This is it. You can't go inside, but go ahead and poke your head in and look around." She stood by the entracne, watching the kit. "Lizardpaw is our only apprentice right now. Your father mentors him." It hit her then. Now that Smokepelt was injured, he couldn't perform his warrior duties anymore, nor teach Lizardpaw. Who would be his mentor now?

"Darkkit, I said you're not to go inside," Dewstreak mewed mroe firmly. "If you can't listen, then you won't make a very good apprentice." She was well aware Darkkit was only a kit, still so very young, but the sooner she learned to take orders, the better.
Lizardpaw was inside, curled in his nest. He had been asleep until Darkkit spoke from inside the den. She was rather loud. He lifted his head and looked at her, his perturding fangs glittering in the low light. "How come you're in here?" he asked, standing up and streching. The tabby tom padded over to her, his muscles rippling under his pelt. He was big for his age already, but it was easy to tell just how big he'd be once he was fully grown. "Kits aren't allowed in here. This si the apprentices' den." He didn't say this in a rude way as he was simply informing her.

Darkkit | Camp
Wide-eyed, Darkkit starred at the apprentice "I'm nearly an apprentice... So I just wanted to see what it was like in here. It's huge isn't it!" She gasped as she noticed the tom's size "well if kits aren't allowed in the warrior's den, then how come big warriors are" she said in a challenging tone. This isn't fair she thought. I'm being told off for doing the same thing that he is. Sitting down, sending grass stems flying, Darkkit turned and eyes the entrance, completely neglecting to keep eye contact with the warrior at the back of the den "Sorry Dewstreak!" she called. Mousedung! she thought turning, swiftly back around. Never turn your back on your enemy she recited her father's words. Now, getting a proper look at the tomcat, she noticed that he didn't look angry with her. Avoiding his eyes, she eyed the floor, feeling embarrassed "I shouldn't have talked back to a warrior... sorry" she mumbled. Her anguish forgotten, almost as soon as it had appeared, Darkkit bounced up onto her paws and raced, twice, around the big cat, purring.

Lizardpaw was really only surprised with her constant shifting of attitude. "I'm not a warrior yet. I'm an apprentice, Lizardpaw," he told her, watching her circle him. "Kits aren't allowed in the apprentices' den or warriors'. Apprentices aren't allowed int he warriors'. And no one is allowed in the leader's den unless invited. That's how it works." He stuck out an already massive paw to stop her from running. Then, he simply picked her up by her scruff and carried her outside the den, back to Dewstreak. "No more coming into here until you actually are an apprentice. Almost isn't good enough," he meowed to her after setting her down. Then he crouched and added quieter, "But I've snuck into here a few times before I was an apprentice too."
Dewstreak listened and watched as Lizardpaw brought the kit back out. She gave Darkkit a stern look. "If you can't follow rules, then you won't be a great warrior," she told her. The gray tabby could be soft, but usually, she was the stern, tough love type. She hadn't liked how even thoguht she'd told the kit not to go in the den, she went right in. Then upon being told to come out, she had to be carried out by Lizardpaw.

"Excited or not, you have to follow the rules and orders of your higher ups. I had to do it, Lizardpaw has to do it, even Stormstar had to do it." Dewstreak tried so hard not to spat the clan leader's name. To her, he wasn't even her leader anymore, just a jerk cat that happened to have the title of leader.
Lizardpaw nodded, looking down at her. "I am an apprentice, for two moons now," he told her. "Some cats are just a lot bigger than others." They wouldn't know, but he was half maine coon. His mother had been a maine coon cat who joined the clan. He definitely got his size from her for sure.
"Next, we can go to the warriors' den. Stay out of it this time, or other warriors will probably get annoyed. I knwo if Swiftflight is in there, he won't be too happy about a kit running in," Dewstreak told her, padding away to the den. "Perhaps you shoudl spend some time with Lizardpaw later. He could teach you many useful things about being an apprentice."
