After Whitestar had spoken Oakstar looked at her. "Rippleclan sends their condolences." She turned back to gaze across the crowd.

"Would one of you like to start?" Whitestar asked. She was grateful for Cinderstar's words of confidence, but it was still Rabbitjaw's smile that was giving her the majority of her current boost.

Onyxwind nervously sat, his fur ruffled and eyes wide. He didn't go to many Gatherings anyways and was only a warrior for about a few moons, so the environment was still relatively scary to him. He gave an acknowledging nod to the two apprentices, trying to appear as professional as possible. That didn't exactly work and he stumbled on a rock when trying to shift his body into a more comfortable position. Oh no! I think I just blew it. Let's hope this all goes well from now on. He hoped.

As Cinderstar sat down Oakstar stood. "We have four new editions to our clan and we have a lawful of bright young apprentices training." She sat down again and nodding to Whitestar.

ThicketClan:
Snowtiger sat amongst his clanmates. He enjoyed the atmosphere of the gatherings when everyone got along, though that hadn't been the case in a while. He listened contently as the leaders gave their reports.
RippleClan:
Echoheart sat with the other deputies at the foot of the tree. She kept an eye on her clanmates as the leaders talked, not wanting a conflict to break out. She noticed Oakstar shoot a disapproving look and knew someone was going to be spoken to later.
Stormfrost sat looking at all the cats around her. She hoped the gathering would be peaceful and she was curious about what the other clans had been up to.
CloudClan:
Shadowwind sat at the edge of the clearing listening attentively. She hoped it would be a calm night, not a spitting contest amongst the leaders.

Mintleaf sat with her tail curled over her paws, listening to everything around her. The she-cat loved gatherings. Blackpaw nudged Tawnypaw.
"Do you want to talk to the other apprentices?" He asked excitedly.
"No." Tawnypaw said stiffly. Blackpaw lashed his tail impatiently. He hated sitting in silence.

"Rabbitjaw has been appointed deputy of CloudClan" Whitestar started, glancing briefly to the aforementioned cat once again. "And we also have a new apprentice, Nimblepaw"
Mintbreeze spotted Ferretnose and gave Lilymask a somewhat distracted goodbye. "Ferretnose, how have you been?" the she-cat asked with a friendly flick of the tail.

Blackpaw and Mintleaf cheered for the apprentice. Tawnypaw stayed quiet, not catching onto their enthusiasm. He didn't know why he didn't cheer, the tom just didn't.

Ferretnose gave a shrug with the twitch of his whiskers. "I had to make sure my apprentice knew what she was to do while I was gone." He meowed, a content smile on his face from getting to his friend. "So, have you finally gotten yourself an apprentice of your own?" He asked with interest.

Whitestar bounded down the hollow quickly, rushing up to Rabbitjaw. "That actually went pretty well! Thanks for the advice earlier" Her cheery tone of voice made her sound more like a young warrior than a leader.
Mintbreeze shook her head sadly. "I'll be honest, I wish I did, so far none of the young cats of ThicketClan have an interest in medicine though. How's Marigoldpaw doing?"

Ferretnose touched his tailtip lightly to Mintbreeze's shoulder for a moment in sympathy. "There will be more kittens once we get farther into the new-leaf." He meowed, reassuring her. "Marigoldpaw is good," He started, thinking back to earlier conversation he'd had with his apprentice. "She was questioning her place within the clan, but I talked her through it like Thistlewhisker did for me so many moons ago." He didn't know if the ThicketClan medicine cat would remember his old mentor, she likely would've been very young at the time of his death.

Tawnypaw stood up, noticing Thicketclan looked like it might be leaving. Blackpaw stood up beside him and shook his fur.
"Gatherings are supposed to be fun." The tom mumbled under his breath. Tawnypaw looked at his brother.
"Don't forget what clan you belong to." Tawnypaw insisted and began walking away. Mintleaf stood beside Blackpaw.
"Don't mind Tawnypaw, he still is learning about the clan remember?" She said.

Echoheart padded alongside Oakstar and paused beside her at the edge of the clearing.
Stormfrost stretched and followed her clanmates as they gathered to leave.
Snowtiger followed with the rest of ThicketClan as they followed their leader home.
