McCree grumbled and very clumsily made his way through the multiple holes in each floor.
When they got to the top, the armored teen- he had taken his helmet off, revealing him south african race with long black hair and brown eyes, and a set of headphones on his head- stood there, awaiting them. "Ey! We're all nearly out of the arena, and once we pull that off, we'll be in the heart of the city. Ink is gonna get us out of there and to his own home, where we can regroup. Cool?" He seemed to be asking their permission and consent to the plan, but it was obvious there wasn't an alternative.

(Yup X3) (ink just had him go get some armor first)
McCree smirked. "What d'we have here?" Lucio returned with a smile. "McCree, from Overwatch, right? A pleasure, sir!" They took the lead as the walked towards a door, painted blue recently. Standing beside it was Ink, who smiled and waved to the gems.

Fay grumbled and landed just beside Ghoul and Party. She was enjoying the slaughter; What a shame. She put both hands on her hips and flicked her mask's gaze between the two. "I assume this means I'm carrying the injured one, hmm?" Her tone seemed to indicate her distaste- As if she wasn't worried of his survival but instead if his blood would stain her clothes. However, she grabbed Party's weapon and tossed it to Kobra, smirking while she did. Could he handle duel wielding the weapons? He'd down the hoard more quickly in that way, but the strain on him could be significant if the gun had any kick. "I don't see you doing much else, so why should he be a bother to you?" Fun Ghoul shot back as the weird bird woman took Party Poison, throwing Kobra Kid his yellow raygun, Kobra catching it with ease as he kept on shooting and running. "He'll probably pass out from the pain anyway." Ghoul said, watching his friend wriggle around in her arms before falling limp. Ghoul raised his eyebrows at that, signalling to her that Party had in fact passed out. (Not much sorry, I'm kinda busy atm)

"Really?" The Doctor further questioned, arms crossing over his chest, "cause to be honest, you seem just a bit scared by the idea. It's really not that bad." How could someone be so scared of time travel of all things? In all honesty, he actually felt a bit bad as he saw her reaction, but it was too late to go back on what he'd said now. And, to be honest, if it saved his skin, he wasn't sure that he should feel this bad. If you were deathly afraid of time travel, what was scarier than him? General shook her head, forcing a grin onto her face. "Me, scared?" She flicked her hand forward as if to say, 'puh-lease!' like a cheesy disney movie. "Of course not!" Lying wasn't her specialty, but at this point she was becoming a feral beast pushed into a corner. She might believe she has no chance against a time traveler, but she'll take a swing if it'll make her feel better. And seeing a foe, or simply someone she has a distaste for, get pummeled always made her feel better. "Uh huh..." The Doctor replied, uncrossing his arms as she finished speaking and saying after a moment, "well, fellow time traveller, I should be going, so..." He didn't like the direction that this situation was going in. Plus, he had been heading towards a stream he had found in the first place, and he hadn't had anything to drink in about twelve hours, so he did sort of have to leave. He wasn't sure if she was going to let him leave though. He didn't want a fight. He didn't like fighting.

Her face turned to a fighter's, as she awaited the next challenge they would throw at the fighters.

Fay gave a curt nod as the one fell unconsciousness, and held him bridal style. Her body movements suddenly became a bit more... motherly, keeping her grip soft on this one. But Fay flew upwards into the air, just enough to stay away from danger. "I'll keep him unharmed. Just survive." She called, keeping Poison close in her grasp.

Bluebird nodded a little bit. "Well, I remember waking up to a bunch of guards and being sent up here, but that's it. So far, Ink seems to be a connection between a lot of different people - I get the feeling he hasn't been telling us everything," she muttered with a scowl. Ink seemed to hear his name, and simply let McCree and Lucio go ahead. He padded slowly over to the rest of them and planted himself down on the ground. "Alright. I've kept you in the dark long enough. Wanna hear the truth?" He seemed... different all of a sudden. More open to being open, more understanding in a way.

The Doctor stopped moving as well, sticking his arms out to keep his balance as he backed into the clearing, before turing to face General. "What's going on?" he asked, watching as things shifted about around them. He knew full well what was going on, actually, but she seemed like she'd been here before. Always ask an expert, right? Well, actually he was normally the expert, but you got the point.

Ink chuckled, nodding his head a couple times in understanding. "Yeah, I would've told you from the beginning, but you never know who could've been listening." He took a deep breath before he started. "All of you are interesting to the people running these games in some way- you're a hero, a villain, or an unknown in each respective world. Heck, someone here might recognize you from a book they read in their world- that's just how this stuff works." He chuckled a moment, letting that sink in for them.

"It's shifting again." To emphasize her point the trees around them started shifting into giant pillars of stone, and the beautiful meadow simply sprung a leak- it was about to become a watering hole it seemed.

The water was moving fast. It was up to The Doctor's ankles within a moment, and his knees within another. He grumbled something under his breath as it reached up his thighs, and began to slosh towards what would be the edge of the pool in a moment. What he didn't want was to get trapped down here, especially not with General of all people. Well, actually, he didn't want to be trapped anywhere with anyone here, if that was a bit less rude.

General clenched her fist around the nickel and very quickly her skin seemed to create an added layer of the material, metal climbing all over her body. She was completely encased with a nickel suit. "Alright, follow me. No one's dying in this pool." She said. Quickly they'd been blocked in by the trees around them, which had completely become a stone wall surrounding them, so she needed to get them out, fast. She walked right up to the wall and slammed her fist into it, creating a foothold of sorts. She motioned for the Doctor to follow.

(afhadjlxkfkdmckdks) Fun Ghoul smiled softly at his unconcious friend, an unfamiliar feeling warming up his insides as he saluted the two, before running off to go and help Kobra Kid, who was really starting to show signs of wear. He was slowing down, his breathing was heavy, and he was drowning in sweat. Ghoul bit his lip as he pulled out his own raygun, downing a couple wolves from the side, acting like a sheep dog as they both herded the wolves away from the other two, downing wolves left and right. Their numbers were starting to dwindle noticeably now, much to both of the Killjoys' delight. They were both extremely glad for the advanced technology and their fitness level from their pursuers in the Zones, as if they had the weak weapons from Before and/or lived in one of the big cities from Before, they would be dead already.

The Doctor turned to look at her, thin eyebrows raising ever so slightly as she punched a hole into the wall with her metal suit. Interesting. He didn't ask though, he waded over to her (the water was up to his waist now), and put a hand in the foothold, waiting for her to punch another one. "What is that?" he asked, gesturing to the metal suit with his free hand, and the arm attached to it, which was basically completely submerged in the water now.

Don't ask questions, just-" with a grunt she punched another, "climb." She however took the lead, smashing her fists through the rock and moving quickly so the Doctor wouldn't deal with the water too long. And she had to move fast as well, since she was now covered in Nickel she'd sink like a stone were she not quick enough.

"There's always time for questions," The Doctor scoffed, scurrying up behind her. The water was rising so quickly that it was always on his tail, but he was a fast guy. He didn't want to hold her up though. He knew as well as she did that she would sink like a rock if she hit the water with that suit on. He; however, could hold his breath for a good ten minutes. That was no reason to let the water overtake them though. And yet, this thing was still growing. It was remarkable really, how the arena changed and shifted and grew. He'd seen it happen before, but he had never been right at the center of it.

Finally the pair made it atop the rising waters, and General pulled herself up and over the cliffside. She rolled a bit away, to allow the Doctor space to get up, but found her body reluctant to rise to its feet again. Seems when you create an extra layer of skin composed nearly completely of metal, it's tough to carry yourself up an entire cliff. "You alive, Doc?" She asked, glancing to the cliff and awaiting him to pull himself up.
Fay floated down from where she hovered, the injured Party still within her grasp. With the wolves defeated, they were safe- for now. "That's... quite alot of carnage." She commented, impressed. The entirety of the hoard was massacred, proving the effectiveness of the ray gun. Fay found herself wanting one, but now was not the time to lust after such a device. She set Party softly to the ground. "I'm about to change back to my real form. So.. Goodbye?"
