Peter followed. Naturally, he was much less quiet than Natasha, but at least he was trying. He cradled the laundry bag holding his suit in his arms as he walked. "I was just, um, at a concert I think. They had a cool light show." That was about the closest he could get to the truth. "Why? What were you doing? Killing aliens?" he asked.

"Alrighty! That's fantastic!" The Doctor grinned, "So, can I know your name, please?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Gengar & @bolderpelt (( I'm gonna hit the sack, I should be back tomorrow! This was a lot of fun! Happy Super Bowl Sunday, and good night! )) goodnight! }}
He seemed a little too cheery about it, but Dean decided it was best for his sanity that he ignored that. He could deal with this guy if he had to, but if he knew where to find Sam or Cas, he was willing to take some risks. "My name is Dean Winchester. Now can you tell me who and what you are?" GengarThe Doctor smiled, "Nice to meet you, Dean. I am the Doctor, and I'm an alien." He said simply. He watched for the mans reaction.

@bolderpelt Castiel paused for a second, looking back at the Doctor, a bit shocked. "Time Lord? I thought the Time Lords were extinct." He said, before beginning to walk again. However, his mind began to run with thoughts. The Doctor stopped as Cas stopped, brow raising as the angel stared, and then beginning to walk again as he walked. So, he had heard of them. That didn't often happen nowadays. "Well, not yet. I'm the last one," he replied, "but yes, all the other ones are dead." Because he'd killed them, but that was not a conversation to have with someone that you'd only just met a minute ago. @bolderpelt Castiel nodded, "Interesting. If you don't mind my asking, how did you survive?" He asked. They were almost to Dean. Cas felt another presence near the Winchester, and it was oddly similar to that of the Time Lord behind him. He furrowed his brow , but said nothing.

Natasha let out a one-note chuckle, and then shook her head, saying, "No, nothing as exciting as that. Alien invasions don't happen every day." Plus, the Avengers were more than sort of scattered right now, so she had no one to fight aliens with. They went down a stairwell, down another hall, and finally made it into a lobby. It was, I bet it's easy to guess, desolate. The front desk didn't even have computers, and the televisions and sofas seemed untouched. "Weird," Natasha mumbled, shaking her head.

"Yes, I kind of remember now. I think he may have some anger management problems, in my own humble opinion," The Doctor mumbled in reply, shaking his shaggy hair as they rounded the corner, and down the street he saw this Dean and Doctor number ten. He had seen him before, during the whole Gallifrey fiasco, but he was still stopped dead at the sight of himself just standing there, blissfully unaware that there was another, older version of him here too.
---
Natasha glanced around, and then nodded wordlessly, before making her way outside. The street was just as barren. It was more eerie even, seeing that there were no cars at all, but she tried to keep a brave face for the kid as she stepped out onto the pavement and looked back and forth. No one. Damnit. "How does an entire city get abandoned like this?" she asked out loud, pulling her phone out of her pocket to check it. Still no signal out here.

Peter shrugged. "Do you recognize anything?" His face twisted with something of a mix between awe and fear, he looked towards what seemed to be a gas station across the street, but there was no sign, no billboard to display the name of the store. Well... that was... even more strange. "I've got a bad sense about this place." As in, this whole place. He didn't need spider-senses to tell him that this wasn't right at all.
///
When he heard people rounding the corner, he pulled his gun up only to remember it didn't have bullets. However, he wouldn't need it, it seemed, because one of the people that had appeared was Castiel. The other... well, that didn't matter. Dean's eyes lit up. "Cas!" he cheered, grinning. He hesitated. "Where's Sam...?" he asked, dismayed. If Cas was also here, that meant Sam was out there... somewhere... alone, or worse, not alone.

"No, I've never been here before," Natasha said with a shake of her head. They both had a bad feeling about this place. There was something wrong with it all. She sighed softly as the text messages on her phone wouldn't even open up, put the device back in her jeans, and then said over her shoulder, "Let's head west. There has to be a city limit or something." And with that, she began to walk, before asking after a moment, "So, Peter, where're you from?"

Peter was again trailing behind her. He didn't know anything about finding a city limit. He'd much rather stay inside the city than leave and end up in the middle of nowhere, not that this wasn't any less empty. "I'm from Queens," he answered. "You?" He may as well get to know her. Or just chit chat. It wasn't like they really needed to be quiet out here. There was… no one else around.

"Oh, so you're a New York boy," Natasha said, a small smile forming on her lips as she informed, "Steve would like you. He likes anyone that from around his home town." It took her a moment to provide any sort of answer to the question about herself though. She pondered, and then figured it wouldn't hurt to tell the truth, so she told him, "I was born in and lived in Russia for a long time, but I consider myself American. Less snow and oppression, you know?"

Peter smiled. Wow. Steve? As in, the Steve? Steve Rogers? It was unfortunate he was not around to introduce himself, because Peter wouldn't mind becoming acquainted with the Avengers. "Well, you sure sound American," he replied. He then realized how bad that sounded. "Not to say you're not actually American! I'm just mean your English… it's good." He laughed nervously.

Natasha just laughed, like, properly laughed this time, but not at him. Just with him. It wasn't the first time that she'd heard it. "Well, they do teach it as a second language in most countries," she told him, shrugging one shoulder, "I..." As she tried to continue, she was stopped, seeing a dark shape dart from one alley to another up ahead, where the street narrowed. Well, not even dart, it seemed to walk pretty fluidly before it saw them. Was it a person? It was certainly big enough. "Did you see that?"

The Doctor 'hmmphed' softly, shaking his head before saying simply, "Well, I think I look cool, but at least I'm not wearing a trench coat and Converse." He smiled to himself, like that was some big burn, and then asked, "So, where are you at in our timeline, Doctor? Wouldn't want to spoil anything, would I."

Dean was not keen to hide his uncertainty. "Well, maybe at night you can use your angel-mojo to find him while he's asleep," Dean suggested. He looked at the two Doctors conversing. He had absolutely no idea what was going on. Unlike the Doctor and Castiel, he couldn't just sense that they were the same person. "Are they… are they supposed to be twins or something?" Because they seemed like two totally different person but talked as if they were one in the same.
As before the figure appeared, he had a tingling feeling at the back of his spine. He jumped backwards, on edge as the figure dashed out and into the smaller alley. "I have a bad feeling about that thing," he said, biting his lip, but usually he was meant to act on said feeling, not run away from it. "We should follow it," he advised. He didn't know what he would say if she asked why he wanted to follow said thing into danger, but he would just say he did. Besides, she was an Avenger, right?

"Oh no, uh, same person," The other Doctor said, waving at Dean one finger at a time and flapping his hands as he continued on, jovially, "Dean, right? You sure are handy with one of them pistols." His voice dropped to a mocking country accent as he made a finger gun, and a blasting noise with his mouth. He then managed to stop his hands from moving by jamming them into his pants pockets, but that didn't stop him from rocking back and forth as he yammered, "Thank god you didn't shoot me or I wouldn't be here today. Well, probably."
That wasn't the sort of thing she expected to come from the mouth of a gangly, geeky, reedy teenager that she'd almost brained with a revolver in a hotel ten minutes ago, but she did agree with him. "Just stay behind me," she advised, waving a hand for him to follow as she crept along, pistol once more at the ready. She cast a glance into the side alleys as she stepped by, making sure the whatever-it-was wasn't moving between them, but she saw nothing until she got into the alley where she'd seen the silhouette disappear in the first place. In the moment it took her eyes to adjust, she saw a flicker of movement behind one of the dumpsters. "Hey!" she barked. No reply. "I see you, come out with your hands up!" Still no reply, and she glanced back at Peter with a raised brow.

Dean gave the Doctor his famous annoyed look. It usually happened when he was talking to Crowley, but this was also a special annoying case. "I'm from Kansas," he replied in protest to the mocking Southern accent. This guy… How were these two even remotely the same person? He acted like a kid, versus "the Doctor" who was either strangely friendly or suddenly angry. "Do I even want to know how you're both here right now if you're the same person?"

Peter watched it with suspicion. He stayed behind Natasha, as instructed, but he was dying to get a closer look. He was kind of reckless when it came to fighting bad guys. Or anything really (if you consider he had jumped off of a skyscraper to test the limits of his powers) since he usually just relied on his spider-sense and agility. Nonetheless, he didn't want to endanger Natasha by angering whatever the weird moving thing was, so he waited.

"Well, Deano, can I call you Deano? I would love to tell you, but the thing is, I have no idea," The Doctor chirped, as he stilled enough to pull out his sonic screwdriver. A quick click of one of the buttons and the buzz and light emitted proved that it was working, and he gave the air about them a swooping scan. After a moment of apparently reading something from it, though there didn't appear to be a screen, he informed, "There's no more of me here though, I can tell you that. Good for you, you might have a stroke, you're getting a bit red."
There was another pause, and then, slowly, the figure crept from behind the dumpster. Natasha, as she watched, realized why she thought that he hadn't;t been human. The man was short, thin, wearing an all black suit, black sunglasses, and to top it all off, and long coat with a hood, which was pulled over black hair that was about the same color as the rest of his attire. She tensed, gun at the ready as he reached for something, but it was only to pull the hood off of his neatly groomed head, and to remove his sunglasses. "Will you stop pointing that at me?" he asked after a moment with a smile that made her feel just a bit sick. He was Irish, that was for sure, but his voice was just... off. Like nails on a chalkboard. "Who are you?" she finally asked, gun lowering slightly as his hands dangled to his sides. He seemed to think about this, which she didn't like. And, finally, he said with a nonchalant shrug, "Richard Brooke." "is that your real name?" she asked immediately, to which he just looked surprised, and maybe underneath a tiny bit p*ssed. "Yes, that's my real name. Who are you two lovely people, then?"

Peter Parker was glad that he didn't have to climb along the side of the building to investigate. Or use his webs. He'd hate to do that. He strode up to the man, though his level of calmness was betrayed by his obvious excitement and concern. "Name's Peter Parker. That's Natasha. The Natasha," he introduced, sticking out a hand. "You don't want to mess with her," he whispered. "Have you seen anyone else here? Do you know where we are?" he asked. This guy did not seem as… freaked out, exactly, about the whole thing as any resonable person would be, so maybe he knew what was going on.
///
He was not red. Was he? Still, this Doctor guy seemed good at bringing up semi-bitter memories. Dean coughed, "Christo," under his breath, hoping it might invoke a reaction just so he had an excuse to stab the guy. Plus, the only person to call him "Deano" would be, well, Meg, though it was really unlikely that she had shown up and possessed someone, and why wouldn't Cas say anything about it?

The man took his hand enthusiastically, dark eyes glittering as he shook it, and said with a dip of his head, "Nice to meet you Peter Parker, and 'The Natasha.'" New York City born and bred, this guy. Smart. An inventor? Maybe a martial artist? His hands were rough. What was in the bag? Cloth? It folded like some kind of cloth. Oh, oh, but this man, his name wasn't really Richard. It was Jim, just Jim, not James, but he didn't go around telling people that nowadays unless he was planning to kill them soon, which was why these two should've considered themselves lucky. As Peter whispered, he ventured a glance at the woman behind him, and then answered his questions. "The answer to both, Mr. Parker, would be a resounding 'no.' I just woke up here. I'm assuming that you and your lovely friend have no idea where we are either?" He smiled at Natasha, who glared. Oh, definitely a bit assassin. It was all in the glare.
"Bless you!" The Doctor said all too enthusiastically, at least giving Dean some reaction, but probably not the kind that he'd wanted. "Most people I know don't say 'Christo' when they sneeze, but we must come from very different backgrounds." He smiled his cheerful little grin, quite pleased at his smartmouthing.
