Ferra allowed the chimera to lie down, and moved onto the bench beside Alfonse. Alfonse subconsciously scooted down the bench so as to widen the distance between himself and the girl, because girls have cooties and Alfonse refused to be contaminated by them. (Basically  ) |

Damocles smiled and said," I could tell." Damocles then moved next to Catori and then nuzzled her neck. Catori withdrew backwards a bit, looking somewhat confused by Damocles' gesture. |

"From what I saw back there, one of your friends-- forgive me if I'm assuming the wolf was your friend-- got scratched up pretty badly." Esra folded his arms over his chest. One robotic finger tapped his other furry arm carefully.

Damocless back away and said," Oh I am sorry that is something me and Kiba used to do with." Damocles then shut his mouth for a couple seconds until he said," Never mind forget I said anything." Damocles then walked towards where Kiba and Ferra was, all the while wearing a very saddened expression.

"Yeah, she's my friend. The panther is what scratched her, but we needn't be worried about that happening anytime soon. Last I saw of her, she appeared to be deeply unconscious. Last time that happened, someone mistook her as dead."

Kiba and Damocles were the first real animals she'd ever gotten to know well, and she was still learning things from them. She followed after Damocles silently. |

As they were walking Damocles remembered something from his and Kiba's past. There was one other Chimera with him and Kiba and her name a was Artemis and she was half liones and half falcon. Artemis was about ten years older then Kiba, which in turn made her fourteen years older then himself. She was the one who comforted the two when their creator had performed his experiments on him and Kiba. And when either Kiba or Damocles woke up that would be the first thing they did which is why Damocles just did that too Catori. As he thought about this a few tears started to fall from his eyes.
Just had to use this chance for some backstory.)

Peter mirrored the grimace, "No, not anymore. Not after what she did. She was only a nuisance before, but she went too far this time." (Nice! Love the name  She sounds like a gryphon.) Catori continued following after Damocles. She herself had very little backstory. Taken from her pack really young, raised with Aurora, etc. etc. She was straggling behind the chimera and hadn't noticed his tears. |

Damocles stopped for a second and rubbed his eyes with his front leg in attempts to get rid off his tears.

Esra let out a small "tuh" of disapproval, followed by a sigh. "Not surprising. Glad I could help, anyway. Suppose I'll be off." He turned away and clutched his stomach as it complained loudly.

"Wherever my feet take me," Esra answered undecidedly. He hadn't a home, or friends or family, and he was fairly certain there wasn't another of his species anywhere on this entire planet. Part of him was thankful for the boy's company; still, he had learned to enjoy being alone.

Catori nudged him with her nose, "Sorry you're sad."
Peter frowned, "That's no real answer." He stopped, "You know, you're welcome to stay back at the castle for a while. You can eat, and rest, and then be on your way again if that's what you want. It's better than wandering around in the woods. Believe me."

Peter started trailing beside him again and smirked, "We've also got dragons, shapeshifters, elves and a ghost. Even I'm not normal. At most you might get a few looks, but you'd fit right in."
Catori looked at Damocles, "Mother?" She'd only heard the term once or twice, and couldn't be sure of what it meant.

Esra stopped in his tracks and turned to face the boy, his arms crossed. "You don't know anything about me. Why d'you seem to care so much?" His tone seemed almost harsh, but there was a softness in his eye that would likely lead the boy to believe he was more curious than irritated.

Catori blinked, "Oh." She then wondered what that made Aurora to her. (I'm beginning to see a pattern emerge here.)
Peter shrugged, "You're right. I don't. You could be a psycho killer just like Pandora, and I wouldn't know any better. I wasn't exactly top of my class." He scratched his head, "I had to leave the only home I ever knew, for reasons. Then I spent months roaming around this continent. When I found the castle, Aurora took me in even though she didn't know me, and I've never been happier. I guess I'm just trying to pass that on."

Peter grinned, "You'll love it, I promise." And with that, the boy skipped off, stopping every little bit to make sure Esra was still following. His dour mood was lifted with the possibility of having another technologically advanced resident.
Catori wanted to ask what Damocles meant by 'took life'. However, she could tell by his eyes that the subject was upsetting him so she decided to wait and ask someone else.
