Alfonse would have quickly rejected the invitation, but his curiosity had won over long before Peter extended the invitation to him. He took a tentative glance up and down the hallway, and shook his head. "Not here." He ushered Peter into the infirmary and closed the door behind them. "As I'm not quite certain where the child, if one could call her that, is at the current point in time, I'd rather not risk her seeing." Now that they were safe in the infirmary, with no one else around that Alfonse could see, he drew back an arm. "Are you prepared?" Chase's smile caused her to laugh more, and she set down her jar of,pickles in an attempt to avoid dropping them. "You're crazy." Ferra gave a wave. "I'll see you around, then." She took a moment before following Aurora downstairs, and outside. She carried Aura to the edge of the clearing, set her down, and stood back. Peter nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah! Me and my brother used to rough-house a lot. Though, we didn't have anything stopping us from actually hitting each other. Plus, my brother's really strong and he could sometimes leave a bruise. So don't worry about hurting me." He smiled and held out his arm again. Aurora went straight rather than veer off to go outside. Aura Afonas walked around in a small circle, then stopped and looked uneasily back up at Ferra. She realized what the purpose was of setting her down, and her expression was almost nearly that of either shyness or embarrassment. (Ugh, I just finished an hour and a half worth of my best friend's homework, while he's practicing for the school musical, so that he doesn't fail his U.S. History course. He'd better be SO grateful. I barely want to do my own work.) Delilah gave another laugh, and her face began to grow pink. She shook her head without answering, and leaped up to sit on the table, her legs swinging back and forth as she nibbled a piece of fish. Alfonse sincerely hoped that the force wasn't exclusive to him. He gathered his courage, drew back his fist, and swung hard and fast. The motion seemed out of place for someone so dignified, and he seemed utterly relieved when the arm suddenly halted, suspended in midair. It was almost as if he and Peter were repelling magnets. His eyes widened, and he quickly resolved to drop his arm. Ferra frowned for a point, and her cheeks changed to a light pink. "Oh, um, sorry." She turned her back and folded her arms over her chest. What a weird puppy... |

Kiba smiled and said," Thank you I will see you later." Kiba then went to Aurora's room and lied down on the place that she had made for him. (Aurora actually keeps her room shut and locked during the day, which is why Catori naps in the garden so much during that time. Wanna just say he went there?) Catori watched him go before slipping back off into the woods to do some hunting. (Let her carry through with the hunt first before having your new character meet her. ^^) Sure) |

Alfonse's fist connected into Peter's arm and completely tore it off at the elbow, "Oh no, look what you've done!" Peter cried as he began bleeding profusely from his severed arm. Peter broke out into a huge grin, "Wow! It's like magic, or something." Arcanians preferred to view the world through a scientific lens, and they generally dismissed any notions of magic or the supernatural. However, with what Peter had witnessed since coming to Lamura, the prospect of real magic would come as little surprise to him.
Aura quietly padded a few steps into the woods, then looked over her shoulder to make sure Ferra wasn't watching. After she finished what she'd been brought out to do, she bounced back over and stood up against Ferra's leg, wanting to be picked up again.
Catori was unusually successful in her hunting, for once. She'd managed to catch a rabbit, and less than ten minutes later, another one bounded out of the hole and she killed that one as well. The wolf now stared down at her two kills, wondering how she would manage to carry them both back with her to the castle. She didn't want any of it to go to waste.

Unknown to Catori a starving Damocles was watching from behind a big bush and when he noticed the two kills he walked out with his head lowered and asked," Um are you going to eat both thous?"

Chase saw the slight blush and smiled a little wider. He quickly realised his cheeks were a little lighter shade of red and he looked away. He then went and started to look through the draws for a knife and a spoon.

The sudden voice startled Catori. The wolf quickly snatched up one of the rabbits and started to bolt away with it, but didn't get far before she worked up the courage to halt and glace back at the unfamiliar animal. She stared at Damocles warily, the rabbit still hanging from her teeth.

Damocles lowered his head even farther and said," I am sorry miss I didn't mean to scare you, I will just go." Damocles then turned around with his tail tucked between his legs and slowly started to walk away.

Catori slowly began to edge further away from the other rabbit, curiously glancing back at Damocles every now and then. She only needed one rabbit, and wouldn't care if the odd looking animal took the other one. It wasn't as if she could carry both of them, anyway.
(On a side note, I saw a rabbit when I was walking my dogs. The dogs' leashes were tied around my waist, and they took off after the rabbit and nearly pulled me down in the process. XD)

Right as Damocles was about to leave a huge growl could be heard coming from the young chimeras stomach which caused him the sit down and grown from the hunger pain.

Catori continued bashfully edging away, until she was no longer in sight. (He can have the rabbit. Catori's just not very friendly or sympathetic with people and animals she doesn't know, so don't be surprised if she doesn't interact with him much right away. That's just her personality. Maybe she can go back and mention him to Kiba or something?)

Damocles turned back to where the rabbit was and with much hesitation he went over to the dead creature and began to eat.

Catori ambled back to the castle, her head held high as she proudly carried the rabbit. Once she'd reached the garden, she plopped down and began eating. She had noticed the other animal's hunger, so in some small way the wolf was glad that she'd been able to hunt in surplus.

Meanwhile in the garden Kiba was waking up from his nap. After stretching a bit have noticed Catori eating just a few feet away from him so he decided to go over to her and she what she has been up to.

Catori continued happily eating the rabbit, pausing every minute or so to pant. She was so into eating, in fact, that she hadn't yet noticed Kiba stirring.

Kiba walked next to Catori and said," Hello Catori I see you have gone hunting and that you have caught a rabbit." Kiba then laid down next to her and asked," Did anything else happen?"

Catori swallowed a mouthful of rabbit meat and turned, smacking, to Kiba, "No." The wolf resumed eating noisily for a moment, when she recalled the animal from before. She swallowed again before speaking, "There was a weird white fox too." She sniffed the air, as if she expected to find his scent nearby, then continued gobbling up the rabbit. (Such manners. Very sloppy. Much forgetful. Wow.)

Kiba raised an eyebrow and asked," A white fox all the way out here." It then donned on Kiba and he asked," Was he only a fox Catori?" Meanwhile Damocles was inching closer towards the castle.

Catori pondered his question for a moment before asking, "He smelled odd, like you." The wolf hadn't been exposed to any normal wolves since she was young, and was beginning to wonder if many of them were this way.

Catori made a noise that was essentially a wolf interpretation of a groan, not unlike a child might make when a parent asked them to clean their room. She really wanted to stay and finish her meal. But she could see the concern in Kiba's eyes, and very reluctantly, the wolf rose up and began to lead the way.
