Loki glanced up as Runa presented a question, a dark eyebrow rising as he took a small bite of food. He wasn't exactly sure if she were asking himself or Raja. Although, he supposed Raja would be the better person to ask, since he'd spent many more years with the woman. He met her eyes and then gestured with them toward Raja. "Oh-ho-ho... So you're not only a liar, a bully and an eavesdropper, but also a thief." 'Aurora's' eyes narrowed to stern slits as she gazed down at Kiba. Stealing was one of the few things that DG looked down on. Hannah reluctantly slid off of the reptilian creature's back and landed on the balls of her feet. She jumped as her new 'pet' released a vicious sounding stomach growl, but then chuckled. "Or, are you hungry?" What could she posibly find at the castle for such a huge animal to eat? Even though she had weapons, she didn't consider herself any kind of hunter. Oh, boy. This is gonna be a job... The girl reached up and gently stroked Trouble's shoulder. Skaldi chuckled at what seemed to be a lack of patience. "This is the fast way. The other way takes longer." Indeed, although the stairs went up the height of the entire castle, it only took a few minutes to ascend to the top. The huldra child was naturally energetic and didn't even feel tired from the climb. Trouble moaned as Purple scratched her, her back leg wiggling in the air. Her stomach growled again and she stood, then with a sudden leap, leapt onto the side of the castle. Though she was such a large creature, she seemed to do no harm to the castle, only wanting to look in. She sniffed around, her nose coming to a particular window. Ibis woke up to a hot yet sweet blast of air covering his feathers. He weakly opened his eyes and gave a shout of fright as a big yellow eye looked back at him. |

Loki suddenly froze at Raja's words. He turned slowly to stare at him. "Other abilities...?" The main dish was slid over to Raja as Loki gestured for him to take more of it if he wanted. Without any warning, Sabrina pulled out of Runa's grip and leapt onto her shoulders. It was then that the furry creature put its cold, wet nose to her ear. (How should we start? Should I just have the Void character -- Noir -- show up and start trying to turn people to his side?) 'Aurora' tilted her head, frowning and eyebrows going together. "Who? I don't know of anyone by that name." She lied. ( 🌿 Loѕтмoon 🌿 : It's fine. XD That happens to me a lot. It's up to you and @angelfur when, since the plot is more his idea, and he knows more about it.) "Yes!" With a skip and two more hops, Skaldi rounded the final arch and stepped out onto the roof. There was about an eight foot space left all around the garden, with more walk ways intersecting through it. The rooftop garden was much larger than the one on ground level, but also far earlier in development. Only a few plants looked anywhere close to maturization while the majority were just beginning to grow from seedlings. A water can lay discarded near one of the far corners. Stones were stacked closely in a low wall, about eight inches high, all around the garden in order to hold in the soil. It wasn't very neat or professional looking, but at least it was functional. Aurora had obviously dedicated a lot of time in setting it up. As the large, reptile-like Trouble leaped onto the castle, Skaldi detected the vibrations from the roof and gave a small shout of alarm. What was that?Hannah laughed as the creature responded to the scratching. However, she was not expecting her to suddenly leap onto the castle and start peering into the windows. "...uh." She sprinted forward and craned her neck back, a hand going up to shield her sensitive eyes against the mid-afternoon light. Peter was jarred from his thoughts as Ibis suddenly shouted. "What? What is it?" The boy turned and mimicked the sound as he lay eyes on the... eye? What in the world?! |

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Raja nodded and helped himself to more food before finally responding, "Yeah, she stopped showing them after her dad beat her really badly when she was 12. That was also the same time her umbra pyromancy showed itself." Raja said softly and sighed. One of the abilities he had watched his mom use was one that stayed in the bloodline. Just like his abilities did. |

"Demon... rabbit? The only demon animal I've heard of lately was that demon snake that you brought in with the sword." 'Aurora' sighed. "The beast is something my father warned me about when I was very young. He said that if a child misbehaves a lot, and doesn't listen to their parents, the beast will show up one night and take them away." She shuddered.
(jsyk, there's no castle gates or fence, and no walls around the clearing XD Did you mean she's pushing her toward the castle entrance, or toward the edge of the clearing?)
Hannah very reluctantly allowed the animal to push her in a certain direction. She glanced up as someone called down from a second story window, too far away for her to tell much about them. "Heh, looks like it!" The girl called up with a grin.
Peter peered out from the window, grimacing when he both saw the creature and heard Hannah's answer. Oh, great. The girl was already a little crazy, and now she had some giant, colorful... thing for a pet? Just great. At least Ibis seemed to be feeling better.
"And she... told you about those other abilities?" Loki wondered outloud. Even though the woman had never mentioned anything of the sort to him, he could possibly see her telling Raja about it. Perhaps.

Nico (I think that’s his name.) was wandering around having learned more about what a half vampire could do he was in denial. More panicked than anything. And had accidentally walked into a wall.
Luna was sitting outside basking in the sunlight. Her one true love the sun was up there waiting for her to come back. She knew she had to get back but how? And why was she here? Sure that boy and the girl seemed to have accidentally brought her here but that’s not enough to summon her. Something was going to happen. She just knew it.

Alice glanced around the garden, the place was certainly less organised than the garden just outside the castle. But yet, it looked pretty knew - so she couldn't really judge too much. She began to head over to examine one of the more fully grown plants before she heard Skaldi let out a scream of horror. Jumping up at lightning speed, the girl began to look around wildly. "What's wrong?!" Alice quickly sniffed the air, catching the scent of something before rushing to the edge of the castle rooftop and peering over the edge frantically. Once she noticed Trouble perched on the outside window, her purple eyes widened. "Skaldi, It's a giant- I don't even know what that is!"

That's a lot of characters... but I've got even more than that in Heroes XD

'Aurora' slowly nodded, her eyes downcast to the floor. "Yeah, I'm afraid so... My father told me about it when I was little, and I didn't believe him for a while, but..." She flinched as though remembering something. DG was playing her cards wisely, as the real Aurora actually had had the same experience, and would vouch for it if she were ever asked.
Loki appeared more interested in learning about the other powers, than with Raja spying on the woman's childhood. "What was... the nature, of these 'hidden abilities'?" If it meant learning something new about the woman, then he was eager to hear about it.
Skaldi was very reluctant to follow Alice over to the edge, and not only out of the fear of falling off. By the time that they did summon the courage to look, the creature -- whatever it was -- had moved around to the front of the castle and the huldra child failed to spot it. "Wh-Where did it go?"
Peter went into one of the vacant rooms near the front of the castle, across the hallway from the infirmary, so he could also peer out a window. He grimaced upon hearing Ibis' words. Whatever the beast was, it did appear hungry. Was it stalking someone at the castle? He suddenly thought of Ibis, and the wounds that more than likely were still bleeding, and blanched.
Hannah caught on to what Trouble was doing and tried to stand in the way of the door. She wasn't sure if the creature would even be able to fit inside of the castle, and even if it did, she wouldn't be able to harm anyone due to the magical protection. However, it wouldn't stop her beloved 'pet' from scaring the mess out of anyone or anything she suddenly decided to deem prey. As she spotted Icarus crossing the clearing, an idea began to form in her mind. "I really don't know. I just found it - him? her? - still figuring everything out!" The girl finally called in response to Ibis' question.

Um, I'm not certain if her other ability was even of Moranian origin though. She seemed pretty good at predicting things, in detail. And there is no record of that being an ability." Alice let out a slow breath, her mind boggled. "I don't know, it doesn't sound like it's doing any harm." She turned back to Skaldi to make sure the huldra wasn't worried about anything. This creature seemed to be a bit of a troublemaker; secretly, Alice wondered if Cosmos would get along with that creature. The cosmic bird certainly had a thing for trouble, but maybe he wouldn't be the same anymore - not since the attack.

Trouble squeezed her way through the castle doorway, and sat in front of the entrance, her large tail thumping on the ground, causing the castle to slightly shake. Ibis made his way down the stairs, feeling better from his rest. His wounds were still wrapped in gauze from Peter taking care of him. He hesitantly walked up to the great beast. "Well hey there, funny thing." he said to the bright creature, giving a smile. He looked at her as Trouble started trying to gnaw on a pillar. "You're a trouble maker, aren't ya?" he asked, giving a laugh. Hannah moved forward so that she could easily step between the colorful critter and the... owl? She chuckled at his comment. "Looks like it. Probably a suiting name." At least it wasn't anything strictly feminine or masculine, as she had no idea what the creature's gender was. "I'm Hannah, by the way." The purple haired girl introduced herself. (That picture is incredible! Wow! o.o) |

Loki was a little surprised about the telepathy, but then again, he never thought anything of it since he could communicate with anyone that way. It wasn't easy to determine if someone else possessed the ability, unless they deliberately reached out to him with it while he wasn't actively using the power. He remembered her knack for predictions, but he'd never realized that it could be, in of itself, an actual ability. "Did she realize it when you found out?" |

Turning slowly, they tried to refocus their attention on the garden, rather than the worrisome 'trouble maker' down below. A small flower clung to life on the very outer edges of the budding vegetation. Skaldi placed a hand over it, and within a few seconds, the flower was restored to full vitality. |

Hannah nodded her head in greeting to Ibis, an eyebrow rising when he mentioned 'Trouble' being just a baby. She certainly didn't seem that way to her, if only because of how large the creature was. Just as she was about to speak, the creature -- without warning -- suddenly licked the two of them. The girl's eyes went very wide as a shudder went through her. She looked on the verge of being sick.
Loki's expression fell and darkened at Raja's answer. With each time the woman's death was brought it, it tore at him a little bit more, although he usually did his best to hide it. "I see..." With a blink, he very quietly finished what small amount of food was left on his plate.

Morgan was only about halfway through her plate before looking at Raja, "What rules?" She asked softly. |

Loki glanced at Morgan, as he was wondering the same thing. He gestured to Raja to elaborate on these so-called 'rules'. As far as he was concerned, rules were meant to be broken, and especially if doing so could save a life.
