KIba whimpered and said," um no way big sis I was just looking for um." KIba then lowered his head and asked," please don't tell mom she will punish me for invading peoples privacy again." What Kiba was referring to was the time he followed Catori to find out where she hid some of her kills so he could eat it.

Even with the descriptions that Alice gave of a bustling city, it did little to assuage Skaldi’s innate curiosity. They tried to picture what a ‘city’ looked and sounded like. The child hoped to be able to visit something like it one day. As for now, there was not much chance of that happening. “The steps go from the ground to the roof.” Skaldi lacked much in the way of education, and didn’t know how to count past a certain number. They had no idea how many stairs there were, or even what a ‘flight of stairs’ were, if she were to ask. (Poor kid. The future version of Skaldi will know more, and get to live in a city though, and it’s being RP’d in a different RP that’s like a sister to this one.)  Interesting. XD]
With a quick glance in Skaldi's direction, the teen wondered why the huldra held such a confused expression of their face. Was the huldra possibly confused about what she had said? Alice then tilted her head, her short chesnut brown hair bobbing to the side slightly while the red ribbon that held her hair up waved smoothly. "One set of stairs?" Was all she asked. In her head she let out a grumble, the idea of having to climb one set of spiralling stairs up a massive castle without any stops made her head almost hurt.
As the girl waited for an answer, she turned her head to look at her own shoulder, seeming to expect her friend resting on her shoulder. But nothing was there. Alice quickly brushed the thought off and looked onwards, following Skaldi closely just in case the huldra veered off somewhere. |

Loki’s expression was an unreadable one as he seated himself at the end of the table. “What would you hope to find in this… record hall?” He didn’t recall anything about such a place during his time on Moran. If it held something of grave importance to the planet’s ties with Asgard, or even to Ragnarok, he wanted to know about it.
Hannah braced herself against the colorful creature’s neck as it released a sudden, strange roaring sound and took flight through the dense, green forest. As they arrived back at the castle, she gave a goofy-looking salute to some of the other residents as they walked around. A wide grin was still stretched across her face. The girl chuckled as her new ‘pet’ stuck her tongue out like a common dog. “Man, I wish I could show my friends this…” Two, in particular; they loved dragons and dragon-like creatures. They’d be so jealous! (lol that’s cool)
“‘Again’? What do you mean by that?” ‘Aurora’ frowned and tilted her head at Kiba, arms crossed and looking more than a little perturbed at him. Just how many peoples’ privacy had he invaded? DG was inwardly smirking at Kiba’s misbehaving ways.
Skaldi had resumed ascending the steps until Alice spoke again. The child paused and turned to her, their earlier confusion returning once more. “Um… yes? One set of stairs that circle around, all the way to the top.” They gestured with their hands and hoped it was explained better. The young huldra had taken the other route to the roof once, but this way was much quicker; at least, in their opinion.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  "Well, the records hold just about anything to do with Moran. And every person to have lived there." Raja explained and smiled, "Well, almost everyone." He corrected his statement since he had never actually found anything about Loki in the record hall. "But I'd be looking for some of the oldest records because they wouldn't be altered in anyway." Raja added. |

Loki went silent and didn’t answer for a long moment. The gears were turning in his head. He badly wanted to get his hands on those records, but at the same time, he didn’t want Raja placing himself in any kind of danger. It wasn’t worth the risk. He’d have to discuss the subject in depth with Hela. Perhaps she would know the best course of action to take. “We will sort this out later. For now…” He tried to direct everyone’s attention to the food sitting on the table.
While the others had been talking, Sabrina was noisily gorging themselves on the plate of meat.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja smiled at the food and didn't have to be told twice to eat. He just hoped there would be seconds.
Morgan poked the food weary of it since she wasn't use to eating new foods.
"Could I still ask some questions about mom?" Runa asked, and rightly so because she hadn't had either parent when growing up. She had even named herself just because no one had bothered to even give her a name after taking her away from her family. |

Alice let out a slow breath in the form of a sigh before scratching the back of her head. "Well. I mean. It shouldn't be too long, right?" She asked as a way to reassure herself. As they moved up the spiralling stairs, the girl wondered if she could see the top of the staircase as she purple eyes sharply caught aight of an opening.

Loki glanced up as Runa presented a question, a dark eyebrow rising as he took a small bite of food. He wasn't exactly sure if she were asking himself or Raja. Although, he supposed Raja would be the better person to ask, since he'd spent many more years with the woman. He met her eyes and then gestured with them toward Raja.
"Oh-ho-ho... So you're not only a liar, a bully and an eavesdropper, but also a thief." 'Aurora's' eyes narrowed to stern slits as she gazed down at Kiba. Stealing was one of the few things that DG looked down on.
Hannah reluctantly slid off of the reptilian creature's back and landed on the balls of her feet. She jumped as her new 'pet' released a vicious sounding stomach growl, but then chuckled. "Or, are you hungry?" What could she posibly find at the castle for such a huge animal to eat? Even though she had weapons, she didn't consider herself any kind of hunter. Oh, boy. This is gonna be a job... The girl reached up and gently stroked Trouble's shoulder.
Skaldi chuckled at what seemed to be a lack of patience. "This is the fast way. The other way takes longer." Indeed, although the stairs went up the height of the entire castle, it only took a few minutes to ascend to the top. The huldra child was naturally energetic and didn't even feel tired from the climb.

"But you would have stolen it if she hadn't stopped you, right? It's the intent that counts." 'Aurora' pointed out. She noticed Kiba's sad demeanor right away, but that was an appropriate response in her eyes. It meant that he could feel remorse over his actions and know right from wrong. That was a lot more than she could say for some of those vile and wretched people at the other castle.

Though she like many others in our family liked to cause trouble in one way or another. She was brave and stood for what she believes in even to the end. And she, like most people had some carefully guarded secrets." He said carefully and could imagine his mom scolding him for saying anything about what she could do beyond the umbra pyromancy. |

Loki was in silent agreement with everything that Raja said. He was happy that the lad had been able to know the woman for so many years, and inwardly cursed Odin for ultimately bringing about her demise. There was a momentary pang of sorrow for Runa, as she'd mentioned not having the opportunity to know her. The trickster continued eating his meal in silence for a while. What could he say to all of that? There was a sudden crash as Sabrina leapt from the counter to the table -- a clear twenty feet away -- and landed on the table. The creature just barely managed to avoid falling into Loki's plate. The man scowled. "Where did you find this beast?" His marked irritation masked the fact that he had absolutely no idea what Sabrina was.
"Well... Why not try to imagine yourself as the people you like to mess with? Try to think how you would feel if Damocles tried to bite you all the time, or Catori stole your kills, or people eavesdropped on your conversations." If this didn't help, 'Aurora' had another idea she was willing to try. Although, it would be a little more cruel.

"Mom was really secretive about things though. So, sometimes it would feel like you barely knew her. I know I felt that way after wanting to know what mom was like as a kid herself.

Loki gave an eyeroll at Runa's answer. He had a feeling he would be getting no where with her if he continued to press the subject. His green gaze traveled to Raja before dropping to the plate in front of him. "Yes, I got that impression as well..." Most of the food was gone from off his plate, and he picked at the remnants with his fork.
Sabrina uttered one of her characteristic chirps and lightly batted a paw at Runa's cheek. It was acting a lot like a cat since eating, and even began to make a purring noise.

Raja said and went to take another bit of food himself and found his plate empty and wishing for seconds.
