Loki breathed a soft sigh when Raja reminded him. “Yes, I remember… She insisted that I know how to prepare food, since I was impersonating a pyromancer, and they’re supposed to be proficient cooks.” He smirked lightly at Morgan’s exclamation.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja closed his eyes with a sigh, "You don't want to know." He said to Morgan finally and hoped that would be the end of that. Of course he had his hopes up too high.
"That doesn't count as answer! Why don't you want to talk about it?" Morgan snapped.
Runa stepped closer to Loki, "So I may not be an expert, but Raja's hair almost looks like fire." She whispered to him.

Even Loki’s nerves were getting rattled by that point, with Morgan’s persistant questioning. He tried to focus instead on the food as it cooked but looked up as Runa whispered to him. His eyebrows furrowed and he stole a glance over his shoulder at Raja.
Sabrina leaped from Runa’s shoulder, once they were close to the counter, and scampered across to the plate of raw meat that sat near the sink.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja ended up slamming a hand down on the table before glaring at Morgan, "You wanna know so badly? Well fine. The council would be mad at all of us for our pranks that we pull but because you are female you'd be punished worse. As soon as your ability would show you would have been taken from your parents and put in a training home. Your ability dictates what you do for a job. Because you are female you would have to marry by your seventeenth birthday. You would have to have kids by your twenty-first birthday. If your ability doesn't manifest by your eighteenth birthday your banished from the main city. If your lucky, your husband will be nice when you speak up out of turn and only hit you once, but if your not so lucky you might get beat to an inch of your life or humiliated in public." He snapped before taking a deep breath. "When your part of the council your decision could affect a person's whole life. You'd have to sit there and even if you find the prank a little girl did to her older brother you'd have to make the choice of either banishing the child or let the girls brother do what he wanted to her. You'd have to sit there and jail an elderly woman for stealing breed just to survive. Knowing that she'll be starved in jail as punishment if it was her first crime. The second would just be execution." Raja added a little bit softer. "And you wanna know what abilities count as powerful? Mine. Control to look into the past and future without limits. The ability to walk through the time stream. Even crossing through different universes. When you have a powerful ability like mine your put on the council." He added barely above a whisper.
Morgan blinked actually a little scared of Raja as she didn't think he had a temper. Plus it freaked her out how Raja's hair looked like black flames. Slowly it dawned on her why Raja didn't want to talk about the council, because he had been forced onto it. And had to pass judgement on so many people.
Runa had actually jumped when Raja snapped. Not having expected Raja to have a temper like Morgan or even Hela.

Kiba looked at her said," but the sword aura says it wants to be with me." Damocles looked at Catori and asked," do you understand what is going on?"

Aurora stared at Kiba for a moment and then slowly brought a palm to her face. As much as it pained her, she retrieved the sword from the floor and tightly held it in her hands. “You just said that it shouldn’t get blood on it… and you’re wanting to use it for hunting?” She stared at Kiba as though he’d lost his mind. Catori stopped to stretch as the two of them padded back into the clearing. Turning to Damocles, she shook her head and smiled, as though to say that that was perfectly fine. Loki frowned at Raja’s question. Then again, it wasn’t that much of a surprise that he hadn’t heard the term before. “A demigod is half god, half mortal.” He explained. Did Raja not yet realize that, with his particular parentage, that he was a half god? (@graphitetheowl : Sorry I missed your post! Hmm… The only character I have free right now is Hannah. She was last at the edge of the clearing, when Loki stole her gummy worms and gave them to Clip. Where’s Trouble?) (She's just in the forest somewhere outside the castle, didn't specifically put her anywhere. She can be by Hannah if that makes it easier lmao!)

Every muscle in Loki’s body tensed as Raja suddenly slammed his hand on the table. He remained tense throughout Raja’s explanation, his back turned to the others. As the cruelties of Moran were expounded to Morgan and Runa, Loki’s fingers gripped the utensil more tightly, and the flames that licked at the food began to rise. Part of him desired the destruction of Moran along with Asgard, and it wasn’t the first time. It was… unbelievably tempting. The trickster continued preparing the meal in stark silence. What could be said to all of that? Everything he thought to say seemed hollow and meaningless. It was easier to refrain from commenting.
Aurora shook her head as she walked. “You’ve already proven that you’re irresponsible with it. I think it needs to be locked up, so it can’t hurt anyone.” She wondered if Kiba might have been lying about the sword wanting to stay with him. Then again… He was the one to have found and retrieved it. Regardless, she was deeply uncomfortable with the situation.
Catori responded with a forced out breath of air that somehow sounded sarcastic. She followed up with one shake of her head, as she didn’t particularly know either.
Hannah sighed. That was one of my last packs of gummy worms, too! The jerk… He could have used something else. Shaking her head, the girl with navy, violet and teal hair turned and started back to the RV, which sat about a mile through the woods. On her way, she plotted her revenge. She was no longer afraid of the forest as she had been since arriving. With her memories back, everything was familiar to her and she felt completely at home. However, all of that changed when she came upon a strange, oddly colorful beast. The girl instantly froze. Hannah gazed up at Trouble with a mixture of awe and caution. There was no easy way of telling how dangerous the unknown creature was.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja blinked before sitting back down. "Look, my home world is nothing short of being the worst place in existence." He muttered and ran his hand through his hair before getting a startled look on his face. "Now that hasn't happened in a long time." He thought having forgotten that he was in a room full of telepaths.
"I-I'm sorry for pushing." Morgan muttered herself.
Runa just didn't know what to properly say, "Could we blow the place to smithereens?" She did end up asking.

Loki only spoke up when Runa asked her question. “Believe me, I have considered it…” He murmured darkly. It was bad enough when he’d lived on the dreadful planet, but after hearing from Raja what had occurred in his absence, that desire to destroy the Moranian Council grew even stronger. Nevertheless, there was a reason why he couldn’t do that. It wasn’t impossible to succeed, considering the size of his growing armies, but doing so would be a mission of self-destruction. As badly as he hated those people, he despised Odin even more. Asgard was his primary focus. He knew with whichever one he chose to war against, it wouldn’t be a battle that he’d survive.

Her back spikes flared up, standing straight up now, unsure if the creature was a threat despite being so small. She tilted her head for a minute, then suddenly moved forward towards it, trying to get a better smell. Her paws were almost as large as this creature was small!

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." "Not even worth the effort. Kalib would not be a good opponent to deal with." Raja muttered not remembering the only council members knew the head council guy's name.
Morgan tilted her head confused having never heard the name before.
"Oh and why is that?" Runa asked thinking of it as a challenge.

“We’ll see.” Aurora shot over her shoulder, disappearing around the corner of a hallway. She always hated venturing down to the armory. It was dark, the air was stale, and it just had a bad feeling. Perhaps some sort of negative aura? She wasn’t entirely sure.
Hannah stood perfectly still, tensing up, as the unknown animal sniffed toward her. “Wh-what a-are you? S-some kind of… dragon?” As the thing advanced, the girl took two small steps back, her neck craned up as she stared in wonder at Trouble. She didn’t feel as though she were in any real danger but her instincts screamed otherwise.
Although Loki did not recognize the name, it wasn’t hard to determine whom Raja was referring to. At least now he had a name to one of the people he despised. He glanced over his back as Runa asked Raja a question. The food was nearly ready, and he couldn’t think of anyhing to add to the conversation.

Loki suppressed a shudder as Raja described what the Council Head was capable of. He removed the last of the food from off the fire and turned, listening in anticipation for what the man looked like. Even if he couldn’t wage war against him, himself, there were other things he could possibly do.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja sighed and just imagined what the guy looked like. Slowly he started to frown as he noticed some similarities between Kalib and a specific other person. Next to the mental image of Kalib he also drew up a mental image of Odin. "Um." Was all he managed to say as he was a little annoyed for not actually making the connection before.

Skaldi ascended a few steps before turning to peer over their shoulder. “The city sounds… strange? But exciting too. I would love to see a city!” Even though Skaldi had absolutely no idea what a ‘vehicle’ was, the child was perpetually curious with an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Since arriving at the castle, they’d managed to learn something new almost every day. Alice chuckled, crossing her arms across her body. "I'm sure you'd love it. It can get very busy at times though," She stated whilst tapping her chin with a finger. Of course, the girl had grown around living in a city therefore she was used to the bright lights and screeching cars and constunt mumbling of residents hurrying their ways to places. "If you're not used to the city it can be a little overwhelming. Though i'm sure you would be fine, it's very lively there too." The girl glanced up the spiralling stairs, a hint of annoyance glinting in her glimmering purple hues. "How many stairs did you say we had to climb?" Alice had been too focused on explaining what the city was like that she had forgotten whether Skaldi had mentioned how many flights of stairs they had to climb or not.

As Loki was currently not making a conscious effort to peer into anyone’s mind, he didn’t realize the reason for the uttered word. “Yes?” He withdrew four plates from another cabinet and set them on the table, then went back for the Moranian inspired dish he’d just finished cooking. Sabrina chirped at Loki when he passed, as though asking for permission to eat the uncooked meat he’d left on the counter. The trickster nodded his head once and the creature hungrily tore into the morsels. Even with the descriptions that Alice gave of a bustling city, it did little to assuage Skaldi’s innate curiosity. They tried to picture what a ‘city’ looked and sounded like. The child hoped to be able to visit something like it one day. As for now, there was not much chance of that happening. “The steps go from the ground to the roof.” Skaldi lacked much in the way of education, and didn’t know how to count past a certain number. They had no idea how many stairs there were, or even what a ‘flight of stairs’ were, if she were to ask. (Poor kid. The future version of Skaldi will know more, and get to live in a city though, and it’s being RP’d in a different RP that’s like a sister to this one.) ( bloodrosepelt: Aurora is going to try to hide it from him, but do you want me to have it so that he is able to follow and see? Or she could hide it, and he could find it later with his aura vision. If he did that, then she might not know he’s found it, and wouldn’t go hide it again. If she knows that he knows where the armory is, she’ll just hide it somewhere else. She really doesn’t want him to have it. XD)

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Runa looked towards Sabrina with a smile before glancing back at Raja, "Um what? Did you forget?" She said jokingly.
"For being a room full of older telepaths, you really don't pay attention much." Morgan said with a smug smile only to flinch slightly when she noticed Raja glaring at her, "What?" she asked trying to sound innocent.
"Don't go in someone's mind without permission. That is rude. And that 'Um' what because I didn't make a connection before I compared the mental images I have for Kalib and well, the other guy." He said and frowned slightly when he couldn't find a word to describe Odin without thinking of his native language.

Loki appeared thoughtful as he set the last dish upon the table. “I never gave it much consideration before, as I had never gotten a close look at the Council’s Head… However… if what you say of his power is true, that would certainly make some sense… It would also explain Moran’s uncomfortably close relationship with Asgard…” The last statement was muttered more quietly than the rest, a clear scowl forming with it.
(kk, sounds good!)
Using her elven speed, Aurora vanished around a corner in an instant. It was nearly impossible to keep up with her when she was moving at her top speed. As she disappeared, her duplicate appeared there in the hallway, in the form of a cleverly disguised DG.
Hannah took two brave steps forward as the colorful behemoth lie down on the grass. Cautiously, she extended a hand toward Trouble’s snout, but stopped short of it when the tail brushed against her, tickling a little. A wide grin spread over the girl’s face. “Can you talk?” All sorts of ideas came to mind now, including keeping the thing as some kind of pet. I could even use her as a guard for my RV, so nobody sets it on fire. She thought with a snicker.

She stood up slowly, bringing her head around towards her back, and gently shaking the creature onto it. She seemed to have a natural groove between her shoulders, as if she was made to carry people. She continued looking at the creature over her shoulder, curious.

DG decided to have a little bit of fun with Kiba, seeing as she had a some unexpected free time. ‘Aurora’ crossed her arms and gave the chimera a look of deep disappointment. “Were you following me, Kiba?” She asked with accusative tone. Meanwhile, the real Aurora was hiding the cursed sword in the armory, which was located in one of the castle’s lower levels.
In the back of her mind, Hannah wondered if this was all some kind of fantastical dream. It certainly wouldn’t have been the weirdest, or even the most vivid. She gave a startled shout as the dragon-like creature suddenly picked her up, and tossed the girl onto its shoulders with its snout. For the briefest of moments, she’d feared that the beast was going to eat her. As she sat on Trouble’s back, she looked around her new vantage point with utter, speechless amazement. Her ear-to-ear grin returned and the surge of adrenaline made her hands tremble. “This is so COOL!” The girl burst out laughing -- her usual response to something very strange and interesting.

She saw all sorts of creatures walking around, though they paused as he running shook the ground beneath them. A few creatures ran, a few just stared and watched. Trouble looked at the creature on her back, who in her mind she now called 'Purple" due to the color of the fur that appeared to be on top of her face (her bangs lmao. I'm tired of calling her 'creature' so she's gonna have nicknames for everyone). She stuck her tongue out in excitement, large drops of drool splatting to the ground.
